If you call them, you might get a CS rep to allow you to use a coupon for a pre-order as I did on the two Seinfeld sets.

Haha, not only did CCC not do TWO moves, he didn't do anything at all!
-
Two new bitches in one night? Thank God they released those women wrestlers.
-
Dan Puder should come out.
-
Here is the big question: Will CCC do more than two moves tonight, not counting punches/kicks and rest holds?
-
RVD making someone bleed. Ah yes, it takes me back.
-
I should have this in a few days. I just wish something from Masato/Awesome was on there.
-
That makes me think of a shot from a live-action version of The Ex-Presidents, with special guest spot for the current Preisident.

The answer is easy. Pillman was the standout star at the start. The team evolved to the point where both were looked at as equals of sort. Austin was the standout star leading up to the end, and at the end.

The DotD and TCM remakes did very good. Both of them made a good bit of money, something a good many films don't even do here lately. Add to what they brought at the box office the DVD sales, and it's safe to say that both were pretty big successes. Especially considering that horror films don't usually do great at the box office.

That was a great speech from Bill, I really enjoyed that.

I wish it would be acceptable for George W. to go kick Bono's ass. Everyone I've heard so far has been pretty good. This is going a lot better than I expected.

I must first ask this question: Are you region-free? If you didn't buy a region-free player, you still might be. Let me know what type of player you have, and I'll (or you can if you want) look up your DVD player and let you know if there is a remote hack for it, which would then allow you to play DVDs from all over the world. I have a few I'd love to reccomend to you if you can end up playing this sort of DVDs. Ok, with that said, here are some of the best DVDs out there right now as far as I'm concerned. These are just the ones that really jump out at me, as DVDs that I feel anyone serious about buying DVDs should own. Here is a link to my collection if you are interested. http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.html?cat=1&id=brentlumkin Arrested Development - Season 1 (If you love comedy, this is an absolute MUST OWN. In my opinion, it's one of the top three best shows ever on TV, if not #1 already.) Black Hawk Down - 3-Disc Deluxe Edition (This is a must own also. You have two documentaries which are about an hour and a half each, making ofs, commentaries, and on and on. This is one of my top five favorite sets for a single film.) Fight Club - Special Edition Hellboy - Director's Cut (Even if you don't love the film, this is still one hell of a set. The making of documentary runs longer than the film itself.) Monty Python's Flying Circus - The Complete Collection (Do you like to laugh? Yeah? Then buy this set.) Monty Python's Life of Brian - The Criterion Collection (See above. Not only is this a fantastic film, the DVD has a good bit of informative bits on it.) Panic Room - Special Edition (It's a pretty cool film, so it's worthy of owning just because of that. The real idea here though is the special features. I can't remember the last DVD that went as in depth about the filmmaking process as this one does. Spread over three discs, you'll see/hear/read about the pre-production, production, as well as post-production.) Pearl Harbor - The Director's Cut - Vista Series (Yes, I know you are thinking I'm insane for listing this one. Yes the movie sucks nuts every which way. Still though, this DVD set is just awesome. If you have any interest in the filmmaking process, this is a nice one to have on your shelf. If the filmmaking process doesn't interest you, then you would enjoy it just for the documentaries included which go over the real event, especially Unsung Heroes of Pearl Harbor.) Se7en - New Line Platinum Series If you love comedy, all of the Simpsons sets should be yours, as well as the two Family Guy sets.

I don't think an 8.7 is disappointing. Hell, even UYA got an 8.7 from GameSpot, that's a great score from them overall. Besides all of that, the overall score at GameRankings for MGS3 is 92%. That sounds good enough to me.
-
An 8.7 rating is disappointing? I just read the EGM review in my magazine here, and it has me really pumped up for it. I'll get it some time before the end of the year.

There is a huge Emu farm near here, on the SC/Ga border. I think that's where we originally picked them up from. I sorta miss em though.

I don't agree with a lot that is in this thread. The bad kind of no-selling, the kind I thought this thread would be about, is a moment where a wrestler is obviously booked to sell something that is done to him, but instead either doesn't do it on purpose, forgets to do it because he's lost in the ring, or something along those lines. I don't consider Hogan or Ultimate Warrior's "pumping/Hulking Up" no-selling, because that's part of their character. Something like Jeff Hardy taking two guitar shots and not falling down, that isn't because he was being an ass or fucking up no-selling on purpose, it was booked that way so Jeff Jarrett could get the thrid and final shot on him while he was still on the ladder. Those Tough Enough guys taking the bodyslams from TBS, most of them were a perfect case of no-selling. I think it's pretty easy to tell when something is booked on purpose, and then when someone is just being fucking stupid or a bastard on their own. Anyway, that's just my view on no-selling, heh. If we're talking about funny sells, there are too many to even start mentioning by me. I did love Rocky's reaction as Mankind was pinning him with a forklift on Half Time Heat. That was so retarded, but I'll always remember it.

Well, it's official now. Which TSM staff member will be reviewing this DVD/video? http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/2004_/arti.../1100650064.php Sincerely, ...Downhome...

If all goes as planned we'll have a prequel explaining the entire Freddy story, and I can't wait for it and hope to God it happens. My two favorites are the original NoES and New Nightmare. I haven't watched the others in a very long time (even though I own the big box set) so I need to watch them all again sometime. I also have to say that Freddy vs. Jason is pretty good also. Hell, the opening of that film almost makes the entire film, I love it. Then again, I think I enjoyed Freddy vs. Jason more than most.

I'm almost finished with my ordering. Here is what I've picked up so far. The Prince of Egypt - Special Edition The Road to El Dorado - Special Edition The Rise & Fall of ECW Seinfeld Seasons 1 & 2 Seinfeld Season 3 Cheating Death, Stealing Life: The Eddie Guerrero Story The Andy Griffith Show - Season 1

Maven still means shit. Any face could have been in his posistion and the ratings would have been the same, or higher. Maven didn't bring the ratings, the booking and overall situation brought the ratings.

Third Annual SmartMark's Video Game Awards!

I demand that you add Katamari Damacy somehow. -
Download TNA "Victory Road" Full Show Here.
Downhome replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in TNA Wrestling
Yep, that's exactly right. I was offering the first X tourny show for download, and TNA actually contacted my host, sending them and me an email saying that it had to be removed. I lost the site and everything over it. It isn't wise to post links to where you can download TNA stuff here. -
I just tried a little experiment. I called and told them I wanted to order both Seinfeld sets, and asked if I could use the coupon, and they told me yes. I even went to the end of the process, and they told me the final price with the 20% off discount. Just a heads up. So it is POSSIBLE to have pre-orders work with the coupon. You just have to call, and hope that you get a stupid CS rep. 800-264-5076
