It just dawned on me. If it took Booker/Dudleyz to equal HHH, does A-Train/Palumbo = Rico Jackie?
-
Are they going to post any more trades, or is this it?
-
Well from a storyline standpoint, HHH IS worth more than all three of those guys.
-
Cade has a new "partner"!
-
This doesn't even make sense to me.
-
Or HHH, heh. Why in the hell did they just trade him right back to RAW???
-
I didn't expect that at all.

OMG WWE IS DYING OMG IT WONT BE AROUND IN A FEW MONTHS~!

What are some good non-WWE wrestling DVDs?

I don't want any MMA DVDs. I've dived into that, and I just can't really stand it. Unless you know of a DVD where it's hard hitting action all the way through, then no thanks. I just can't stand it when I buy a show, and it's comprised of two guys in the mounted posistion and they do little to nothing. Just two guys, mounted, I can't stand that. I like the concept of the real fighting, but I don't like what I've seen so far. I think the Severn/Shamrock bout that I saw also helped destroy my interest in this type of thing. Hell, I hated THAT piece of crap so much that I made an entire thread about it here. Check it out if you never saw it, heh. http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...569&hl=shamrock -
Teddy Long not only should be the GM, he also deserves it as far as I'm concerned. He's been in the industry for many years, he's always been a consistant on-screen character, and the fans react to him. I'd rather have him than a McMahon. On a side note, am I the only one who thought that the interaction between Bishoff/Heyman was just great? I'd really like to see them run an angle together where they are against one another in some way or another. I wish that they went with the Bishoff/WCW vs. Vince/WWE vs. Heyman/ECW angle back in the day, and then kept all three running seperate. As for the trades, etc... I don't think we'll see anything too major, but it should help things that much more whatever it is they do. I still think that somehow, someway, Cena will end up on RAW.

I recently picked up that first ROH DVD that came out, and I also picked up the UPW: Shock Wave DVD. What are some other good non-WWE/ECW DVDs that I should check out? Sincerely, ...Downhome...

How much did you pay for yours?

I loved the match, and it made me want to see an Eddie/HHH match on a PPV. I think they could really bust a classic out together. It obviously wasn't a ***** clinic or anything, it wasn't meant to be. It was fine for what it was, which as Rant said, a time killing match.

I want to find the poster where Carey and Winslet are on the ice, of Eternal Sunshine. I haven't found it anywhere cheaper than about $25. This may sound stupid, but what is the best way that you guys have found to hang a poster up. If it's a frame, where can I get a good low priced one? If it's something else, then what?

Isn't the current Spider-Man release a great DVD, enough to be called "ultimate"? Either way, I'm glad I haven't picked it up yet. As for Daredevil, I hate to hear that also. I traded my copy of the current release of the film a few weeks ago, and I did so only because I thought the new release was coming out soon. Oh well.
-
Good, this is how it should be done. Slow and easy, no need to rush things right now.

So...ummm... The really big news is that now Akio and Sakoda need a new leader. Go Ultimo!!! I could see Tajiri and Gail Kim joining together on RAW once she comes back. I didn't have a problem with the draft at all. I sat back, watched the show, and I enjoyed it all the way through. I also look at it totally different than most of you. While some of you say this didn't accomplish anything, I totally disagree. Even with the minor changes that we have seen already, it will change the feel and the way both shows lay out for quite a while. Add the trades that we'll no doubt see by Smackdown, and it's going to change things up enough for all of this to be worthwhile. Not to mention, as has been talked about already over and over, the likely return of ECW in one form or another. WWE didn't need a total change in every single aspect. They just needed something to be done to create the possibility of new feuds/matches, and a chance for even more new young guys and new stars to get a better shot. And, well, they accomplished just that, exactly what Vince said he wanted to do. While I'm at it, I loved the little "tease" of HHH/Eddie. Something felt really different about HHH in that match. Maybe it was the fact that he didn't cut a promo or anything the entire show, or whatever, but I was really into him, Eddie, and the match as a whole. If HHH stays on SD, which I think he will without a doubt, then I'm really looking forward to a more long term feud between these two guys. Then on RAW I'm really looking forward to a straight up one on one feud between HBK/Benoit. I've wanted that for years, so I'm happy about that. As for Evolution, nothing really changed. For the past few weeks Evolution has been more about Flair/Batista/Orton than anything else. You always saw those three together, but HHH was only with them during his matches, when he needed them. He almost never came out to help those three beat up Foley/Rock, etc... HHH will be just fine on his own on SD (ok, so Steph will more than likely get with him in some way or another), and the others will be ok on RAW. I'm perfectly content right now when it comes to WWE. I haven't felt this good about the current product, and the future of the company, in years.

The official Dawn of the Dead 1979/2004 thread

I don't know really. Like I said, the character just didn't "click" with me. -

There are times when characters just don't click with me, and this one is just one of those instances. -

No, it isn't him as an actor or his performance. I just despised his character. -

Mehki Phiffer's character was a piece of crap, I hated him from the very first scene that he was in. Then as the film went on, I hated him more and more untill I eventually was hoping that his kid would rip through gals torso and kick his ass. Go baby death beast go! -
I'm glad that I convinced at least a few people to go check it out. It's more than worth it. The name used for the main actress is just so great...Clemintine. I l thought that was so cool. I wish women like Clementine were real...I really do.

I found a DVD that I've been looking for for over a year now. At a run down pawn shop in Greenville, SC I found the Widescreen Special Edition of Short Circuit. It's OOP and goes for anywhere between $25 and $50 on eBay, when you can even FIND it on eBay. I haven't seen any of them up for auction in about a month or so, so it's pretty rare. I picked it up at the pawn shop for $9, woohoo! I also got a few other good deals over the past few days. 1) Disney Treasures: The Complete Goofy Tin (Traded a few DVDs that I really could care less about for it.) 2) Bride of Re-Animator: Pioneer Special Edition (OOP, got it for $15.) 3) Naked Lunch: Criterion Collection (Picked this one up from someone for $18.)

I should write a formal review of it, and go into every reason why I loved this film so much. The more I think about it, the more I love it. The more that I'm convinced that I actually do love it more than Memento.
