They are going to have the match go on, and have Benoit look like he's just about to win. At the end though, with the ref knocked out, they'll have Evolution come down and all of them will hold Benoit down out on the ramp. As HBK looks on, HHH goes up to him, and out of nowhere both HBK and HHH give Benoit the finger, HBK falls backwards, HHH covers him, and the ref makes the count. HBK, HHH, and all of Evolution celebrate together over HHH's win, as Benoit is left bloody and beaten out on the ramp crying.

Vince McMahon Pushing Again For Bret Hart's Return
Downhome replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Imagine if Bret was the ref for the match, and he helped HBK beat Benoit, and post match Bret cut a heel promo saying he doesn't give a damn about the fans, never has and never will, and then he, HBK, and Vince all hug and leave with Earl Hebner right along side of them. -
Vince McMahon Pushing Again For Bret Hart's Return

I said it before the Royal Rumble. At that PPV, HBK should have defeated HHH for the title, and started a feud with Benoit over the title after Benoit one his shot at WrestleMania XX, with HBK playing an all out heel. The one on one match at WM, Benoit/HBK, would then have Bret as the special ref. It works much better in that situation than in Benoit/HHH. -

I didn't, but I'm sure a lot of people bought Pumping Iron seeing what all happened in the past year. -
Flair DVD Ends 2003 In Top 5 Selling Sports DVDs

That's great news, I'm very pleased. It's WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, not "who". -
We also need to remember that they do have over a month left untill the big show. That Taker, he'll only rise from dead to avenge his death at the hands of Kane...and for auto shows.
-
That's what I'm thinking also.

Just click right here and then over on the right, look under the 2/10 update, and it links you to all of them. Do you think that's how long his hair is, or is he trying to hide most of it? I just thought some of you Taker fans would find this interesting, I did. Sincerely, ...Downhome...

It's the Confidential piece on it.

Bill Behrens is one hell of a guy, I've spoken to him on the phone and through email, so yeah. He even gave me "permission" last year to film a documentary on Wildside and it's training school if I ever finally decide to do so. If I could ever find other wrestling fans who cared about doing something like that, I'd do it.

What in the bloody hell?

WWE isn't even close to being like WCW to me. In WCW, like the DVD says and it's basicly true, only one "new" guy really got a major shot and a serious push, and that was Goldberg. By the time guys like Benoit, Steiner, and Booker T were given a shot, the company was already dead and had no hope to continue on.

Holy shit, I can't believe this thread is from so long ago. I am simply in awe.

How about that Ultimo Dragon guy?
-
Bradshaw is one that I'd pick.

If Lesnar, for some reason, left WWE and went to Japan he would become one of the most over wrestlers ever to perform there. Not to mention that we would quite possibly see some of the best matches from over there from the past few years. If he was allowed to go all out with some of their better talents, it could be amazing.

It does include the entire ending where Flair said "Abuse of power, I'm already fired...fire me, I'm already fired!". It starts right when all of the Horsemen are in the ring and Arn starts talking about each one of them.

I bought the DVD today also, along with the new Foley DVD that came out a few weeks ago. I put the Monday Night Wars DVD in just because I wanted to check out the "Flair Returns" segment since it's one of my favorite moments of all time, but after I did that I thought that I'd just check out the first chapter of the main feature. Well, the first chapter came and went and before I knew it I had watched the entire main feature on the DVD, as well as just about all of the extras (I haven't watched the matches yet). It is without a doubt the greatest feature that I have ever seen WWE release. It covers so many of my favortie moments, comments from people that look and sound like they actually mean what they say, and the guys pull no punches, it all seems to be coming straight from the heart. It also, no NO way, takes sides. It tells the story of the entire "war", and it does not put WCW in a horrible light as they seem to always want to do. They admit when WCW did something right and when WWE did something wrong. It just feels perfect as you watch it. Sure they left out a few things here and there, but they can't freaking mention everything that went on throughout all of those years. To me, every wrestling fan should own this DVD. If you weren't a fan when the Monday night wars were going on, then you need to watch the DVD just to learn a thing or to about the history of the WWE/WCW conflict. So go out and pick it up, I can't see any way that any wrestling fan could be disappointed. Well, I take that back. I am disappointed over one thing. While watching it, I remembered just how great wrestling was at one time. I remember the feeling of "anything can happen" for both RAW and Nitro. It took me back to the days where when one talent jumped ship you were really shocked and it meant something. It reminded me of the competition and how much both shows acted as if they really wanted to top the other one over and over again. In the end though, it once again told me how much that I loved WCW, how much I loved the wrestling scene back then, and damnit...it reminded me once again just how much that WWE needs come competition once again. Two big thumbs up from me.

I love Gil, but I guess I'm the only one. I still love The Simpsons, I still laugh at it, I still watch it, and if it were up to me it would keep going on forever!

If he's only making $225,000 then if I was him I'd want to quit as well if I could find something else to do. Being the World Champion, being the entire centerpiece of the WWE when it comes down to it and more specificly on Smackdown and since he's been doing so for a while now, then he should be making a good deal more. I find it hard to believe that's all he's making.

Just how much does Brock actually make right now under his current deal?
-
That might not work, seeing how so many actually dislike Disney right now, so they might not even care. Seriously though, I think it's about time for them to end his current push. I'm not going to go crazy and say that they need to fire the guy, but it is time to put this run to sleep. To be honest, I'd allow it to go on to WrestleMania (they can't just end the Orton/Foley feud right now after all that's happened, you'd be a moron to think so), and allow Orton/Foley to just be a one on one match. If I was booking it, I'd have Foley beat his ass as well, AND get the win. Have Foley take a beating as well, have Orton rough him up, but when it's all said and done allow that single match to end the "Legend Killer" gimmick, by having a true legend to destroy Orton. After that, just do what we see so offten and simply let it fade into the past. Let Orton sell an injury for a couple of months, and when he comes back do one of two things. Either have him focus more on being the straight up cocky heel (with no mentioning of the legend killer gimmick), or have him try do do that, with a bit of face tossed in, and see where they can go with that kind of character for the guy.

Same here, I felt the exact same thing when I saw this thread here up top of the page as I did when it was first created a year ago. I guess it's just hard to accept that guys like him are indeed gone.

I'm not some "Orton hater", but I find all of this very funny. WWE had Mick Foly use this story to try to get the fans to TRULY hate Randy Orton, and with how WWE promotes the armed services and everything, at the end of the night it was totally pointless. When Randy Orton came out, after not only be revealed to many people in the crowd (many didn't know it I'm willing to bet) as a coward and then kicking Foley's ass in the back, when Orton came out at the end of the night he didn't recieve any more of a reaction than he's ever got. I mean, let's be totally serious. If all of that could get the fans to be up on their feet expressing their hate for the guy, what in the hell will?

I thought it just WAS the original, only with updated graphics, and an extended ending with added levels and added gameplay aspects.
