  1. Here is a .GIF that will help me explain what I'm talking about. Now, has anyone ever done that exact same thing, but instead of just falling to the mat after the dropkick, they had someone under him and when he landed he landed on the guy just like he just did a standing SSP onto him? Does that make sense to you? I've always wondered about it, but the match from where that .GIF came from made me think of it again tonight, seeing how it's set up perfectly for what I'm talking about. What matches has it happened in before if ever? Sincerely, ...Downhome...
  2. I trust whatever Nolan does as of right now, because quite frankly, he has never given me a reason to doubt him so far.
  3. When I first read the news on Yahoo, I thought the same thing and just sat here in shock.
  4. It's just a single disc.
  5. The version of Little Shop of Horrors that is a collectors item is the one with the extra "Alternate Ending". There is one version of the disc out there that is basicly exactly the same, but that alternate isn't on it. If you ever see the Little Shop of Horrors DVD for sale anywhere, more than likely used, just look on the back and look at the listed extras. If you see anything listed like "alternate ending", then buy the DVD ASAP. It we want to talk about an even greater collectable, then look for the Criterion Collection version of Salo, with the white ring. If you ever, by some work of God, find that for sale used somewhere then buy it right up. That version of the film goes for near $1,000 on ebay. The version without the white ring around the disc goes for around $100 on eBay as well.
  6. The weirdest gimmick match ever is the Shark Cage match, end of discussion.
  7. I've always liked Eddy on the mic, but I have NEVER thought of him as a guy who could cut a main event PPV selling promo, untill last week. This week confirmed it.
  8. Nooooo, it's not just the Bashams against Scotty/Rikishi. We've got an "added bonus" in the match.
  9. Well thank YOU for controlling the direction of the thread, El Prezidente! Do you always have a problem, or is that just your personality? I was just making about point about which I thought was more important to WWE. See, another example of someone getting their panties in a wad.
  10. Never remind me of that again.
  11. I'll end up getting that set one way or another. I was such a huge fan of the show back in the day.
  12. Don't you dare get my hopes up!
  13. In WWE Regal got more exposure and more time to work with his character (for a while). In WCW, he was promoted much better, as a wrestler, which is what the guy is at heart. The only "comedy" you ever saw of him was what you saw on his face in his matches. To me, WCW treated him much better. You could almost say that EVERYONE from WCW that came to WWE after the close of the company, was used better in WCW than they have been in WWE.
  14. I saw this topic over at WCMB, and thought I'd start it here just for the heck of it. Do you even think it means anything at all? Perhaps saying that someone is returning from the past, or could it actually mean that they really are planning on starting something new come WM XX. I mean, with it being possible that the big should could end with both Benoit and Eddy being world champs, could this mean that they are actually ready to give some of the guys actual shots, once and for all? You know, a true "new era" in WWE. More than likely not, but what the heck. I figured I'd see what all of you think of that tag, since I haven't really seen it discussed on here yet. Yeah, it's just a marketing ploy to sound cool more than likely with nothing behind it, but it's worth talking about I guess. Sincerely, ...Downhome...
  15. Everyone's opinion on the releases are in all of the threads talking about them.
  16. I might be the only one, but I don't want my forms of entertainment to cave into groups and be scared to do anything in terms of making jokes about people, and actually having stereotypes. I don't know what's wrong with the world, but everyone takes everything way to seriously as far as I'm concerned. Again, I don't think they exclude anyone. In WWE land, everyone and everything is fair game, they pull no punches. Like I said, people need to understand it's entertainment and not get their panties in a wad.
  17. Oh don't worry, TBS has plenty of more years to entertain all of us in the world of wrestling.
  18. So does anyone else agree with my stuff about Brock looking like a moron, instead of a montster?
  19. That is the one that I've heard more than anything else, and it sounds to be the most likely reason for the recall.
  20. The industry will never get respect, so just foget that right now. You'll never see wrestling in the USA booked as a respectfull "sport". It may be different around other places, but it will not be like that here, not in terms of a big group like WWE. If groups can't take a joke with this stuff, then they might as well just get over it, and not watch it. I don't bitch when they make southern people look like morons, and I see no reason why anyone would bitch over stuff like this. It's entertainment, it's TV, it's like a film, people need to comprehend that before they go insane with calling racisim.
  21. Forget the racial crap, as far as I'm concerned the big story here is the idea that Brock looks like a moron, not a monster.
  22. The wrestling industry is an entire industry of sterotypes of one form or another for the most part. It takes culture, people, and everything else and it takes them to the EXTREME. It's been like that for God knows how long.
  23. What exactly isn't true at all? I don't know what you are saying isn't true. WWE has pulled out shots of just about every culture, from whites to black to mexican to asian and whatever the hell else. It's just entertainment, and it's nothing to get worked up over, I don't care who they pull shots against. They've never done anything to the point where I would even should even be even the least bit pissed off (that I can remember off of the top of my head), in terms of racial stuff.
  24. Don't be so PC, something like this is no different than people making jokes on TV or in movies, it's all in the name of fun. It's being done to make Brock look lik an asshole, and to get all of the fans behind Eddy in his quest to kick Brock's ass. It's going to work also. I'm against it not because I'm all PC and against jokes like this, that's all fair game as far as I'm concerned. I'm against it because it in no way makes Brock look like the "monster" that we have been led to believe that he is. It makes him look like a joke, a moron, and even less of a threat. They need to decide on how they want Brock to be presented once and for all. Either the moron who does and says stupid shit as we see every so offten, or the insane monster who cares about nothing but hurting those who gets in his way, and to hold on to that title for dear life. I just don't like when they let "monsters" do stuff like this, it's just retarded to me, even if it IS funny. If anyone looks at the skit and goes "Oh my God they are making fun of a race, Brock Lesnar and WWE is nothing but racists, and I refuse to watch the product again" then more power to them, it just weeds out the morons who can't take a joke and comprehend that this is just an angle, meant to promote a feud and to be entertainment.
  25. If you want to get into stuff that will be a collector's item though, look right at the just "released" Eerie Indiana complete series box set. I think that the only people that recieved it were those that pre-ordered it. I wanted it very badly, but figured that I'd just pick it up from a store in town. Boy was that a stupid move. Right now the set is going for anywhere between $200-$300 on eBay.
