I don't think they have the personnel to be a legitimate NC contender next season. If Bomar continues to improve and they can get a senior season out of Adrian Petersen then they could be a serious threat in two years.

Also, whichever of the Texans and 49ers gets the 2nd overall pick should be really happy, because then they can take D'Brickashaw Ferguson like they should and not have all the fans and pundits jump all over them for it.

I think Oregon is going to be "up" for this game so that next year's game in Eugene is the rubber match with Oklahoma, rather than a game the Ducks need to win to avoid getting swept by the Sooners for three straight seasons.

Personally I don't see how they can be sued over this. Unless I'm reading it incorrectly, it's not as if the school is forbidding the singing of Silent Night at the school or something. They are simply going to sing a different song set to the same music as part of their "official" celebration; I don't see how that can be proven to be "intentional mocking". Are they going to sue Weird Al if he does a Christmas parody next?

Exactly. I'm already sick of this "Reggie Bush sweepstakes" stuff on the halftime shows and the announcers chanting "Reggie!" every time a bad team makes a crappy play or gets burned for a score. It's inconceivable to these clowns that these teams might be better served by someone other than Bush.

I never really hated PSU all that much (compared to OSU, Michigan State, or Wisconsin) until this season, when every time you even whisper the word Wolverines after that game, some PSU fan leaps out of the bushes and starts ranting "blah blah blah Jason Avant's heel blah blah blah Lloyd Carr whines blah blah blah Michigan's referees blah blah blah if this if that we would be undefeated so the BCS is hypothetically screwing us blah blah blah". The only reason I try to rub that win in people's faces is because they won't let us forget about it.
