The end to the CE folder thread was a glorious, mascara-smearing shitfit the likes of which I thought was impossible to convey textually. It was like Bukowski on the rag.

It's all about the games. I'll probably be getting the PS3. You know what revolutionary feature I want in the PS3? A disc drive that doesn't start breaking down after a year and a half. Sony better get on the fucking ball with that, since I had to buy 2 PSs and 2 PS2s, and on both i waited till they were at least in the second generation.

I really like MM3, and it was close to making the list, but my point was it's VERY similar to MM 2-6. And MM1 is by far the most challenging. That game was made to make children cry.

On Flik's behalf, he just spent a bunch of time compiling a top video games list for us in that folder, which was nice.

I think about it this way, certain games like Mega Man 2 and 3, which do you pick? Or if you're a sports fan, which Madden do you pick? Games like Zelda and Final Fantasy don't really have this problem since they're very distinct.

DAMA: Have you tried Lufia II yet? I like it better than most SNES RPGs.

The entire time I played I had the R1 button held down, making my character run like his ass was on fire, and the ship speed up to a crawl. The encounter rate is still awful. And yeah, the graphics are pretty. More for the backgrounds than the fairly generic character models. Most games are ugly compared to FFX.
