  1. Woof . . . woof! (droops head)
  2. I looooove the finish of that match. Mankind hits Shamrock with the chair, and goes to climb out. Rock decides to just cover Shamrock for the pin. Great fucking booking there. And one of the last times Mankind pulls his own hair out.
  3. I remember that clip and that can't possibly be her. You know Dusty Rhodes was upset because Vince was screwing NWA in so many ways and here he introduces the character Virgil named after Dusty. I can't imagine Vince giving Dusty an opportunity to point out that Vince has his wife barking like a dog for money on TV. Originally I wrote something not so flattering about that woman's behaviour in that skit but I decided against it. Please file under useful facts I have a clip of it, it's Linda.
  4. Damn Shock wiping out Cleveland in the 3rd game. Grrrumphhhh . . . (Waits patiently for the Cleveland LeBrons to take the court this fall)
  5. They'll have Ashleigh give him a striptease and all will be forgiven.
  6. Ouch . . . no love for Cheers: Season One?!? Ah, that's alright, although I highly recommend it. The episode "Pick a con, Any con" was a perfect example of a Russoish swerve in 1982.
  7. Talking to it basically. Its rather boring. Actually, that whole tape is pretty dumb, with it being very few REAL bloopers and mostly dumb TNT skits. Which is really fun for historic purposes, but the tape could have been better. I mostly picked it up since it was the first Coliseum Video. That being said- The Tiger Chung Lee thing is the funniest thing on any WWF/WWE tape EVER. No way, that's an AWESOME tape. How can anyone not mark out for Dr. D's behavior at the wedding reception? Ya got Adonis giving Murdoch and Okerlund a tour of the Bowery where no one's heard of Adrian until they meet up with sickly, old 'Uncle Joe.' To which, Adrian quipped, "Looks good for 53." And then, they finish up at the 'ortable dining facilty' (hot dog cart). Johnny Valiant acts clueless when a woman wants to be in a ring with 20 men in a 'battle royal'. Albano completey owned his H&F segment. "Boy, I can't stand fat people!" Plus, the Iron Sheik commenting that he loves to eat his camel and Chung Lee embarassing himself in a must have for any Tiger Chung Lee comp tape. C'mon, someone has to put one together.
  8. Actually, their very first one was a generic instrumental of their popular one.
  9. Isn't it, "Pain and destruction is our middle name"? That's what I thought.
  10. I doubt this has been released, but what about Psychosis's WCW theme?
  11. I remember at an Oct 1998 Cleveland house show (Indians were in a playoff game that night), the evil Commissioner Slaughter came out to ref the next match, and ended it by noting, "By the way, it's 4 to 3 Yankees, ya scumbags!" And the E&C Bill Buckner impression is by far the cheapest heat I've ever seen, but hilariously funny nonetheless.
  12. Actually, that was Darsow. Culley is much shorter, older looking than Darsow. I'm 99% sure there's no Culley as Smash footage on Coliseum Video. I have they're debut on Challenge on tape, and once you've seen that, you realize that Darsow was Smash in the SNME Battle Royal.
  13. Don't forget Bobb Heenan telling some woman that she should be happy if her husband has six inches of anything.
  14. Yeah, that's another shirt I bought. I think it's the original one he used before coming to the WWF, too. As I hasn't got the logo on it. Or, maybe it's just RF re-printing. Pretty good quality, though. I bought one at a ECW house show, between that and my Kurt Angle 'Its True It's True' shirt, those are the two wrestling shirts I've never been embarassed to wear.
  15. 6 degrees of Shane Shane beat Kane Kane beat RVD RVD beat Jeff Hardy Jeff Hardy Beat HHH HHH beat Austin Austin beat Rock Hence, Shane could beat The Rock Rock beat Bret Hart by DQ Hart beat Yoko Yoko beat Hogan Hogan beat ANDRE THE GIANT Shane could have slayed Andre.
  16. I have a Jeff Jarrett Slapnuts foam guitar and a New Blood shirt.
  17. Interesting stuff . . . I also remember something about Saturn wanting to lose the Souled Out Dress Match AND the SuperBrawl rematch since everyone would figure he would at least win the rematch. Nash found this to be hilarious and booked it. Of course, Saturn did prevail at Uncensored 1999 (CJ's last ppv).
  18. Nah, he's a weenie who thinks he's great because he pretends to have gold medals from the Olympics. If he was so great, how come he wasn't in the GenerationX group? Remember, he lost his hair against The Edge. Besides, he's too small. /Dufus Mode
  19. And who's the World Champ again? Ummmm he was that guy who used to point at his penis all the time. Man, that was funny shit! Remember? He fought the other guy from the X-Men group, ummmm Sean Mitchell, I think. He also hangs around that old crazy guy and I read that Randy guy is the old guy's son. Ooooo, what a match that would be! Anyways, that guy used to be married to the person who pretends to be Vince's daughter until they gotta divorce on Raw. Wow, that probably got a 15.3 rating.
  20. I dunno, that sounds pretty immature and I don't think . . . . . ahhh this is a battle no mortal can win.
  21. I figured everyone would know that she'd be booked against The Real Brock Lesnar. She won't have a hip to lay on.
  22. Does anyone really think Vince gives a shit about what they show on Confidential? He probably doesn't even realize it has a From the Vault segment. However, if he happens to be channel surfing inbetween viewings of the Bischoff/Linda foreplay and notices Bret defeating Hennig, he'd be pretty pissed. But then he'd go back to rewinding and watching said Raw segment again and again and all will be right in World McMahon Entertainment, as it should be.
  23. To think, all this time I thought it was supposed to be called "The Evolution Chamber." Not only would HHH need a stunt double, he'd probably require an acting double as well. Hardee har har. But the posing scenes are all Hunter!
  24. Just watched Austin vs. Steamboat's US Title Clash match today. It was Steamboat's last match and a nice last hoorah for his career. We all know if he didn't get injured, there'd unfortunately be no nice hoorah whenever he would decide to retire. Cool match with an awesome ending: Austin gets cocky and starts smacking The Dragon for no reason other than being a prick. Of course, Steamboat fights back. A series of near falls ensues, and Steamboat eventually gets the duke the same way he won against Savage at WMIII. Now, the IWC says that Steamboat injured his back skinning the cat at the end of the match. However, a few minutes before that, they were fighting on the turnbuckles and Austin pushed Ricky off. He seemed to land awkwardly (the base of his spine taking the brunt of the fall) and started reaching for his back (obviously, could be selling). However, he seemed in more pain than that. He kept clutching his back subtly every now and again until the end of the match. Does anyone have any clue what I'm talking about here?
  25. Call me immature, but knowing what I know about Shawn, I just can not get into any of his work from 1994-present (except vs. Sid at SS96, Foley in 9/96, and UT in HIAC). I recognize he has had some extrodinary matches, but I never care to watch them. I can understand why people mark for him, but I just can't watch a mid-late 1990s Shawn Michaels match and not get the Clique out of my head or other political agendas save for the 3 matches listed. I know it's petty, but I'd rather pop in a random 1980s CV then HBK's greatest work.
