I prefer Malkmus' solo material to most Pavement but it really seems, to me, that he's been consistently good for a very long time while still managing to avoid getting sucked into the mainstream. I think that it will end up being another good draft like last year's. Unless last year's was a total fluke (I dont think it was) it really showed how much blame Mike Sherman should get for the horrible drafts of the previous 5/6 years.

Anything under $10 an hour is really pushing it so this minimum wage increase is really just a small help/first step. But it's something.
