It was a different climate then, that was over a year ago. These days we think of the staff as a joke because the face of it has proven to be aloof and recent actions don't make much sense. Add in lots of little things like the Randy Orton suspension thread not being closed until the 18th page and the moderators and admins start to look like an invisible joke. Yeah, there are mods who post often, but since nothing ever happens, they just sort of blend in while the numbers of complaints go up. I don't really think I should be re-installed, but there needs to be someone new.

I think it is. It's been called that before I believe. EDIT: Man, CWM got it first. Look, I know things sort of break down into groups with the older posters, and I'm not well liked by a couple of them, but I can at least recognize them as good guys/girls and don't really care who's moderating or still here as long as they do it well.

I know I banned a few people. Can't remember who, but I did do that. Like I said, the several months where I was a moderator happened to be peaceful. We can't just go around and ban people to keep stuff interesting. EDIT: And I suspended someone for 9,999 days, but all the old banned posters blend together in my head.

So the manner in which one gets to their position is less important than what they do with the position. Okay then. This seems to be the message.

Sure was. And who were these mods and admins who wanted me out? They could, I dunno, bring it up in the staff folder, but never did. I would have been more than happy to hear criticisms of what I was doing/not doing and fix them. Not my fault they wanted to keep quiet. And when was it stated that all the moderators have to like each other?

And I set twiztidmind's post count back to 0 and changed his subtitle to #1 Avril Lavigne fan! or something like that.

Rudo's right about how often the soup/cereal talk happened. The shit's mentioned in a billion threads, but didn't actually find where it came from until last night. It only happened once for each food. C'mon.

Those people throwing a shitfit over MikeSC being banned got AoO and HTQ de-modded as well, with HTQ eventually being reinstated. It was all at the same time, and despite being told repeatedly that it wasn't me who banned him in the first place, many of them persisted anyway. It made sense that I'd ban Mike since I can't fuckin' stand the guy, but I knew I couldn't do it unless he did something really warranted lest there be a pachydermial bitch fest. Someone else pulled the trigger before the others, they got pissed anyway, and that was that. There were absolutely zero problems with what I was doing, and I don't claim to have done anything great. The period just happened to be fairly peaceful. Even the guys I gave a hard time probably think it was pretty funny now. And people's names were changed as often as they wanted, by gum.

I still haven't heard an actual reason I was a bad moderator besides "you were made one as a joke." Yeah, being the HD moderator was a gag, but folder mods can do virtually everything super mods can so I asked Ill if he would go ahead and make me a global one. It doesn't help that the cerebral monoliths who now inhabit The Pit bitched and moaned and got me demoted for something I didn't even do thanks to our fearless admin not actually looking into things. So yeah, still waiting for a real reason I wasn't a good moderator. But back to the original purpose of the thread. Site Feedback is obsolete.

The CE guys are politically charged people at the core, their line of thinking just ended up over there. Seriously, this is really more trying to get another moderator installed that'll be one of us, the everyday posters.
