  1. Yeah, even in the most high-end cars I don't think I've seen a stereo that did even tenths as well. It just didn't shock me 'cause I've got a little Magnavox unit from 1997 that was only $120 at the time, hardly a top-of-the-line piece.
  2. I don't know if this is sarcasm, but it scares the fuck out of me that any official body in this country would declare a "Loyalty Day." I bet you said the pledge of allegiance every day before school though. Same thing.. That's a little different to me, but point taken.

  4. http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/20...0030430-26.html Gee, wonder why this never caught on. I found it while looking up pictures for the above post.
  5. Never fuckin' mind.
  6. I've got a little tabletop stereo and it does each tenth on both the AM and FM frequencies. I figured it was commonplace.
  7. Haha, Czech's programming is funny to read. I'm going to the beach and relaxing today.
  8. Hey guys, come on. This is actually a pretty big step for ol' WP. If only he could learn how to start sticking that thumb into an unsuspecting girl's ass.
  9. Do you have a sense of perspective, sir/ma'am? You're comparing Kosovo to what's now a three year long war if you want to go that "oh, so what if conservatives did it also" route.
  10. So Leinart and Jarrett were set up in a nice place thanks to Leinart's dad paying for it. Oh no, that kind of shit NEVER happens in college... Geez, why can't they focus on the truly improper actions?
  11. I'm sorry, I always call them Division I, II, and III because adding the A's sounds like a buncha high schools.
  12. I'd drop my pants and take a dump in the middle of the ring. That should confuse everyone for long enough to get some toilet paper and escape.
  13. Dama, did you watch any game that Bush played in at all? Even if it doesn't translate into the pros for whatever reason, there's no indication right now at all that he isn't everything he's billed to be. Kirk Herbstreit put it best about the guy about midway through this past college season: "He's a guy that makes you go (gasp) whenever he gets the ball, because you have no idea what's about to happen next." My beef with ESPN right now is the crap mentions of the NHL playoffs, but that's no shock. Having the NFL Draft picks on during the entirety of Sportscenter tonight pissed me off too. I think you just need to calm down when you watch that channel. I just watch it so I can see highlights and scores and screen out most of the opinions, and because I refuse to support any Fox sports channel. As bad as ESPN is, a world with a monolithic Fox Sports Network would be hell in comparison.
  14. Re-posted since it's actually relevant in this thread.
  15. I'd keep it, get loads of ass, feel like a big shot for a few months, then sell it. Summer's coming up, after all. As for the 105.2 frequency, there are certainly even decimals on the FM dial that can be used for stations, they just aren't used too much for some reason.
  16. And oh yeah, HHH is kept from the title for a little while longer. Huzzah! Once the cool anti-hero feelings die down, you guys'll start loving Cena again.
  17. Plummer had a good year last year to be sure, but he hasn't shown long-term consistency yet. It'd be nice to have a good backup just in case Jake can't maintain his form this year. And it isn't like the kid would be getting killed out there, their offense is perfect for him. I'm much happier with Reggie Bush going to the Saints than the Texans. As he said in an interview, it's a great morale boost for such an embattled franchise. Merrill Hodge (or however you spell it) was a exaggerating when he said that Bush'll be a top playmaker in the NFL by the end of the year, but it isn't out of the question for him to be a major force a couple of years from now. The draft's about the future, and no matter how nasty the players are, it's unrealistic to expect these dudes who have been college kids until now to go out there and play at the level of professional MEN, not boys. As for the Packers, no complaints from me, as they mostly worked on the areas I felt they needed to shore up (O-line and defense), and they got a Furman QB with their last pick! Anyone familiar with Division II football knows Furman's a perennial powerhouse. Plus it's a pretty nice place anyway. After Favre's gone and if Rodgers gets hurt, you could do worse for an emergency QB.
  18. Man, it felt good to watch an intense Bulls playoff game again. I've been spending this year getting back into basketball, and I have to say I don't really mind the Lakers anymore, especially since I love upsets in any sport. Miami's pretty much my designated hated team now. I don't dislike O'Neal, but the rest of those dudes bug the fuck out of me. The Spurs were getting their asses beat way worse than the Heat (who were in the game all the way through at least), but you didn't see them arguing and shit. I'm dying for a Clippers/Bulls final.
  19. When Scions first came out and had their first wave of commercials for the xB, one of them had these free runner dudes flying all over a parking garage.
  20. Man, wish I had caught this. I'd love an Esprit for a dollar.
  21. In South Carolina, the state assembly is mulling over a death penalty for second time child molesters, the rationale being (as it is any time that sexual predators are in the news) that they're incurable and thus extremely dangerous no matter what. I see people who do the same with homosexuals, people of another race, or some other minority segment of the population as being on the same level, incurable. Now that's a double standard, and the only reason anyone could say otherwise is that it's a hell of a lot easier to pick out a motive in a child raping than it is if any random white guy happens to savagely beat a hispanic guy to within an inch of his life.
  22. JR made his return worthwhile when he called the entire McMahons v.s. Shawn Michaels/God mess tonight "bullshit."
  23. On the DVD release, they should cut out everything between the RVD/Shelton match and the triple threat.
  24. Maybe they'll announce the new Raw GM tonight. After all, it's the first Raw-only PPV since Bischoff was fired. Or maybe I just can't believe they'd fuckin' FORGET ALL ABOUT THAT.
