I've Been Out Of The Loop For A Few Years...
Art Sandusky replied to Jonathon's topic in The WWE Folder
Eh, I put him down because he still entertains me more than most others. His uneven arm lengths are starting to bother me. -
They really should have used "Lord Tyrannus" more often. I mean, Vader was always called "Lord Vader." Dooku is a criminally ignored prequel character. I find him to be a really neat "old world" Jedi, the kind that Obi-Wan was referring to when he said that the lightsaber was "more refined than a blaster, a graceful weapon for a more civilized age." Not to mention his lightsaber is probably the coolest in the whole saga besides Luke's ROTJ one.

And this happened on the day I was going to tell him I saw Shadows Fall in the Pop/Rock section at a local music store. Unless they really are pop/rock. I figured Laz was bigger on more morose, angrier fare.

It's been a while, but worth another go.

^^ Needs a newer, more relevant screen name. -
Guess you haven't been trying the thing I had you read.

Everyone say something about the poster above you. Make 'em good too, show off how little of a life you have.

Man, I love how Nintendo doesn't give a fuck is going to go ahead and do shit for its own sake.

Christopher Nowinski was snapped in half by Scott Steiner in an April 2003 in-ring debate. As long as he's got that video of Vince telling Kevin(?) Walchoz to drop to his knees and give him a college handshake, WWE will insist that all of your questions are to be answered "yes." Val Venis had a much-ignored 75 minute chain wrestling clinic with an indy worker at an event in Moline, IL just last week. Brock Lesnar died on the way back to his home planet. Orton is capable of decent to pretty good matches on his own, and can look great with great people. His current alignment is Frat Boy Caveman. It's up to YOU, the viewer, to decide if that's good or bad. Big ol' meaty face, and he's less skilled than Orton while being way more over. His offense is great fun to watch when he's just totally dominating someone else. They appeared on Raw once as a team, John was Johnny Nitro for a month or two and played Bischoff's assistant before he was shuttled out for losing a match to someone, can't remember who. Matt is starring in full-length adult films as "The Flava." There was no Russo. Chris Kreski was found, alive and well, 8,000 miles away. He's moved to Smackdown, but hasn't done anything of note since nearly collapsing HHH's windpipe in the Elimination Chamber at Survivor Series 2002. I hear he's lined up for a push in the upcoming North American Light-Heavycruiser Division. I don't give a crap about workrate as long as they entertain me, so here's my four from each. Raw: Benoit, Shelton Benjamin, The Coach (savior of the human race since August 2003), and... hmm... I'll say Shawn Michaels. Smackdown: Cena, JBL, Eddie, and Carlito Caribbean Cool. If you want to count Shelton Benjamin as a "new guy", then I say him. And he's from O-burg. You KNOW that sucka's hard. These are the stories that the internet went nuts over, off the top of my head. Vince tears both quads. Lita cheats on Matt Hardy with Edge. Lesnar leaves WWE for a shot at the NFL. Paul London took a dump once. -
Chris Benoit, The Big Show, and (I think) Edge and Christian for two weeks in July 2000: THE SHANE MCMAHON CONSPIRACY~!

Were there plans for Hogan vs Zeus at WMania 6?
Art Sandusky replied to IWD's topic in General Wrestling
The only one-on-one match at Wrestlemania XVI was the catfight. I mean, the show's fun to watch, but a lack of real singles matches keeps it from being in the upper echelon of my favorites. -
Oh, and I pray this season of Sealab is the last one. The recent stuff is seriously painful to watch.

I always loved his batting stance.

A puppy. A FUCKING PUPPY! (starts a "save that poor dog" campaign)

She has a point.

Could Christian Ever Be Believable Main Eventer?
Art Sandusky replied to natey2k4's topic in The WWE Folder
Christian has been, for me, possibly the least interesting person on Raw since the split. I simply can't get excited about the guy at all. Even when I was a Raw recapper here briefly I'd just gloss over his matches. -
Okay Inc, I think that's enough. (gags)

Tom Goes to the Mayor is so terrible.

... the fuck did you find this person?

Terri Schiavo was never on life support? What the fuck is a feeding tube? -
Ooh, I'll take a legit murder attempt on Michael Shiavo about 24-48 hours after she dies.

Nah, his image of how I am is still how I was when I was like, 16 or so. Sorta strange, nerdy, whatever. His mental construct of me versus how I really am is a massive gap.

That's still kinda inconsistent. It's either a jab by Palpatine at Grievous's mostly droid nature or something else, but unless the Republic knows that the Sith are heading the Seperatists there's no reason to use "master" there.
