  1. Man, we oughta vote that Clinton character out of office. Waitasec.
  2. Even if the press made a big hullabaloo about it, few people I know give a rip about campaign finance laws.
  3. No, it's more like ratings spiking for one week to see what direction it's taking, then sustaining the rating if it looks good, or diving if it looks poor.
  4. Spiffy, good to hear. It'll remain to be seen how many successfully contest their captivity though. (I thought this said SCROTUM rules on GIZMO detainees when I glanced at it)
  5. Win a retiring poster's name and the right to absorb his post count and you can do it too.
  6. Here's the problem with that statement: Booker is nearing retirement and RVD has peaked as far as skills go. Technically Cade, as the youngest and least experienced of the bunch, is the one with most potential of the workers in question.
  7. Coach must not be involved with this. Actually, he should slap Cade like a bitch that didn't give Coach his money and go back to being a free-floating Bischoff lackey.
  8. Relax, man. By now you should know that "they look like kids in a gym!" is a standard defense mechanism for people who don't like indy wrestling. Besides a lot of them being pretty young and wrestling in a lot of gyms, making the statement pretty true. Should we hallucinate up some 30 year olds wrestling in the Superdome or something?
  9. We'd never actually say we did it to prevent an attack though, for two reasons. One, it would show that we weren't confident in our ability to stop one, and it would prompt what can be called an "oh YEAH? Watch THIS then!" reaction, as if we're challenging them to outsmart us.
  10. I'm the only one in there right now. (cries)
  11. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! That was different!
  12. I think it's funny that you describe it as a major character. It's friggin' Garrison Cade.
  13. Already posted in the RudoCurry thread. Readforumsfirstplz
  14. WWE would be fucked up for a year plus if Vince died without much warning. And as much as people here say they hate the guy and have wished things on him even I won't wish on people I don't like, the day he goes will have everyone saying how they already miss him, wish he hadn't gone, etc. I really hope he turns out okay. Vince, with as many boneheaded moves he may make, knows the business better than any other person alive.
  15. First: Calling Moore a communist is terrible. At least base accusations on things he says or does, rather than awful leaps of logic that say "vehement criticism of government = communist." And alphas get pretty fuckin' rich in capitalistic societies also, and much, much wealthier at that. At least socialist and communist societies keep up a facade of everyone being equal.
  16. I'll bet a dollar they've got another dictator within 10 years.
  17. I was troubled more by how turnbuckle touches could count for two men at the same time.
  18. Well, it was Kevin Dunn who advocated the necrophilia angle, so killing Paul Bearer mafia-style was probably his idea. Vince not being there explained a few small things, like the two trainwreck matches (Gunn/Kenzo and Stay-Puft/Holly) going way too long for their intended point.
  19. Question: How do they not crack the fuck up while doing this? I know that everyone in the bar last night was laughing at Bearer's "You saved me~!" smile, and it was even funnier considering it was like a floating Paul Bearer head saying it.
  20. They'd never admit it, even if they did. On the bright side, this gets Cade away from COACH~, who is quickly becoming my favorite person on Raw period, just for the little "The Playas Club Featuring: Coach" mini-tron video that pops up during his entrance.
  21. Just move the show to Thursday night that was originally booked for Tuesday. Might give them more time to come up with something intelligent to explain all the crap too. I wish they'd go live this week, but I don't see it happening.
  22. Thank you Wondermouse. The brand extension wasn't a "failure" when Eddie and Benoit won the titles initially. Funny how that works.
  23. You don't. If you couldn't force yourself to watch when it initially happened, time doesn't make it any better. I was one year old when it initially happened. Even if I saw it then, I had no idea what the hell was going on.
  24. You can't beat me, I'm a rock star.
