  1. Um, the pistons are still going. How do you think it idles?
  2. Yet another thing that doesn't even come close to crossing my mind until I come to the board...
  3. This is the funniest thread in a while.
  4. I should bring back the super-dynamic Kylie one.
  5. Watch, I'll rally back to make a sensational return just in time to hype a PPV match, with Kylie herself as my valet.
  6. His overblown pantomime of Austin driving his ATV two weeks ago was the best thing on WWE television in years.
  7. And then Austin would pop in on Smackdown with the beer truck and hose CM down with Budweiser. I would SO pay to watch that. Seriously.
  8. Can too so make I.
  9. I wanted to note that after almost three weeks of ownership of this album and after more listenings than you want to know, that... 1) this now beats out Impossible Princess for overall musical quality, although IP remains the most personal. 2) The songs on the album that Kylie wrote are the best. I'm not just saying that, they were my favorites when I downloaded them back in November, and had no idea they were the Kylie-penned songs. 3) My top three are now "Promises" (fucking awesome melody), "Red Blooded Woman" (after I learned that she says "I'm a Red Blooded Woman, what's the point in hanging round?" I previously had no clue what was being said there), and "Sweet Music" (the best dance track on the album, sez I). Yeah, a senseless bump, but I just wanted to share this. Oh yeah, those that don't have this album, GET IT, GODDAMMIT. It's legit really good, and that isn't Fanboy Spoon talking, it's Music Listener Spoon talking.
  10. It's a contest between Eagan and I? You're serious?
  11. I love you, Tim. That was the PERFECT time to bust that out again.
  12. (marries Kylie)
  13. First incarnation of Wild and Crazy Kids > Double Dare > Nick Arcade > Second incarnation of Wild and Crazy Kids.
  14. Banky, you do realize that Soviet culture being chic isn't synonymous with subscribing to the political and economic system that brought it about, right? To be chic is to be, first and foremost, visually fashionable. The logo is visual. The logo is cool. Therefore, the logo is chic. It isn't inconsequential, and once again, people are wearing the symbol, not pictures of Stalin. It's an acceptance of the "everyone is equal" ideology, not an endorsement of Stalin. The Nazis were capitalists, regardless of the Socialist badge they carried as part of their name. It's also called the People's Republic of China, but I don't see a lot of republican government there. And of course, the phat logo. Eat my ass if you don't find my answers satisfactory, but the bottom line is that the people who are big fans of Soviet things are largely ignorant of the story behind what they're wearing. I might as well stop wearing anything with the American flag on it also, since we had slaves for years and killed or displaced millions of Native Americans and fabricated reasons to declare war on two other sovereign nations so we could have what we considered to be our rightful land and so on.
  15. This schtick-stealing is getting annoying.
  16. I still like it.
  17. Because since the Nazis, it's associated with absolute hatred for all things not pure-bred blond hair blue eye white. The hammer and sickle represents an actual political system, not a set of hateful standards. When I see a swastika, they think death and destruction and violence and genocide and pushbrush moustaches and persecution and all that jazz. When I see a hammer and sickle, I think of an authoritarian revolutionary political system. You say I'm injecting my own personal opinions instead of answering questions, but the thread has been started on your own opinions. And stop harking back on Stalin and think of the Soviet existance as a whole. Swastika = Hitler, a man. Hammer and Sickle = Soviet Union, a country. Much less offensive.
  18. CJ and BestBuy sure, but no Paul.
  19. To be honest, the swastika is boring in comparison.
  20. Perhaps it did.
  21. What whoosh?
  22. So are they~!
  23. I kinda like it.
  24. What music?
