I wanted to note that after almost three weeks of ownership of this album and after more listenings than you want to know, that...
1) this now beats out Impossible Princess for overall musical quality, although IP remains the most personal.
2) The songs on the album that Kylie wrote are the best. I'm not just saying that, they were my favorites when I downloaded them back in November, and had no idea they were the Kylie-penned songs.
3) My top three are now "Promises" (fucking awesome melody), "Red Blooded Woman" (after I learned that she says "I'm a Red Blooded Woman, what's the point in hanging round?" I previously had no clue what was being said there), and "Sweet Music" (the best dance track on the album, sez I).
Yeah, a senseless bump, but I just wanted to share this.
Oh yeah, those that don't have this album, GET IT, GODDAMMIT. It's legit really good, and that isn't Fanboy Spoon talking, it's Music Listener Spoon talking.
