  1. So, if Jericho turns face again he'll begin blowing spots?
  2. Triple H is also poisoning the Teenage fans of wrestling.
  3. I always find it funny that everyone in the music folder wishes death on Fred Durst and no one says a thing. But when you laugh at a wrestler being injured people throw a fit.
  4. During WWE's Smackdown house show in Uniondale, NY on Sunday, Vince McMahon showed off some strange behavior. During a match between Tajiri and Rhyno, Vince came out and had the ref ring the bell early so he could start the bikini contest. Some thought it was part of an angle or just Vince putting over his heel character, but it appears that Vince just got frustrated by a match that he saw as boring and wanted to pull the plug on it. Vince's actions have been a hot topic with the wrestlers since this weekend. Many wrestlers are upset, because WWE management has been telling them to slow down their in-ring style, which is what Tajiri and Rhyno were doing, but then had their match cut short due to Vince thinking it was boring. The wrestlers feel that Vince when out of his way to embarass Rhyno and Tajiri by going out to the ring when all he had to do was tell the ref to wrap the match up. Credit: 1wrestling.com
  5. World Wrestling Entertainment is said to have little to no interest in James Storm and Chris Harris, America's Most Wanted. Despite Charlie Hass and Shelton Benjamin's rapid evolution into one of the best technical teams in years, a large portion of American wrestling fans consider Storm and Harris to be the best tag team in the country. According to the Pro-Wrestling Torch Newsletter, WWE officials are said to be relatively unimpressed with James Storm and consider Chris Harris to still be too vanilla at this point. 6. Huh? This is the first time I ever posted an Edgeucation. Besides, this been up at wwe.com since yesterday. Ya snooze, ya lose.
  7. Edgeucation of Adam Copeland -- Sept. 2, 2003 Hello again for another installment of the Edgeucation. Nothing but good news from the office of Dr.Youngblood. Seems I'm actually ahead of schedule, although that does not mean he will give me clearance before the whole year of recuperation is done. What it does mean is that, if I continue on this pace, the injury won't keep me out longer than a year. That was definitely good news, so I've been flying high all week. It's strange but that has also seemed to slow time down. It's crawling along right now which I don't help by constantly thinking of my comeback. Still a little too soon for that. I usually receive quite a few e-mails asking what road life is like. Everyone seems to assume it's all glamour, and partying. Some nights you can get that opportunity, but the reality of the matter is, we usually have to get to the next town right after the show we just finished, or fly out at the break of dawn the next morning. Here's a little example of one tiring trip we did. After 3 days on the road in cities I can't remember, we had a SmackDown! TV taping in Memphis. Right after the show we hopped on a plane to Gander, Newfoundland. That was just a refuel stop. From there we hit our real destination, Helsinki, Finland. Now I'd like to say I went sightseeing, but we got in at 3am, and our show was the next day. I slept, watched a heavy snowfall in October, and realized this place had Canada beat for snow. We did the show and went directly to a plane headed for Belfast, Ireland. We got in at 4am, crashed hard, woke up the next day at noon, with 3 hours to do something before we left for our show. I had time to hit an authentic Irish pub (although the Irish might not think it is) called the Beaten Docket. SmackDown! referee Mike Chioda, announcer Tony Chimel, Valbowski and myself had fish and chips and a Guiness. Besides the crowd responses it was the highlight of the trip. Right after my Irish experience we hopped on a plane for Manchester for a ppv the next day. We got in at 3 am again and hit the building at noon because it was a ppv. That night I wrestled Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman in a 30 minute handicap match. It wasn't over yet, because we had a show the next day in Sheffield. Right after that show we went to the airport and, you guessed it, flew back to the States. When we got in (at 3am, go figure), we had one day before our next TV taping. Those trips take a little while to recover from, but you still have to be able to turn it on every night when you get in front of the crowd. These tours pale in comparison to some of the horror stories I've heard about the 80's road schedule. On the road for 69 days straight. I have to admit, that would suck. When I first started in WWE we ran 14 days straight, 3 days home, and back out again. That was a pretty demanding schedule, but nothing like the 80's. Now with all of that complaining out of the way, I still wouldn't change my career for any other. It's been a slow week for the Edgester, filled with countless hours of Vh1's, I Love the 70's. Yes, I'm extremely bored, and yes, I do love the 70's. Not much to say this week, so I'm off to see Isaac Hayes tell me what the hot hairstyles were in 1976 (probably mine). Short class today, but you have still been Edgeucated. Credit: wwe.com
  8. When does Vince ever care about the smaller guys who are over and can actually work?
  9. Some one needs to drug Triple H, film him having sex with the stripper and then show it to Steph.
  10. Rock will be hosting again sometime in the next 2 months.
  11. Anyone remember when Shamrock clotheslined himself with the top rope? HBK threw him to the ropes, and I have no idea how you fuck this up, but when Shamrock hit the ropes he was too low and the top rope clotheslined him. HBK was being an ass during the match because he was carrying Shamrock but when that happen HBK had a look on his face like "you gotta be kidding me?" There is quite a few Shamrock ones.
  12. Torch Newsletter reported this week not only does Triple H have a pulled groin but also a torn lower ab.
  13. Damn, Raw really was the night of the non-wrestler.
  14. I remember reading Lex Luger was drunk the night before WMX at a bar in NYC and told a few guys (who were reporters but told Luger they were fans) he was winning the title the next night. So when the plans were leaked Vince changed the plan to Bret getting the title. Any truth to that?
  15. [McMahon Mode]Because Ultimo Dragon doesn't have the aggressiveness of Jerry "The King" Lawler.[/McMahon Mode over]
  16. Why does Lawler still wear wrestling tights for commentary?
  17. Anyone else just see security take that fans sign? What did it say?
  18. If the rumors are true that their going to have Orton form a stable with Maven. Then at least put Stevie Richards and Victoria with them. Hell, turn Dreamer heel and have him join them also.
  19. Coach calling Al Snow "kid" is pretty funny. He still sounds like babyface Coach though.
  20. Steiner kicks off Heat with Coach & Al Snow doing commentary.
  21. Either before or after Lesnar became champion by defeating The Rock, he had a match with Bob Holly on Smackdown where the two of them didn't cooperate. Apparently, Holly was trying to rough up the rookie, and Brock was all like "OH NO YOU DIDN'T", and tossed Holly on his head with a powerbomb. Holly hasn't been seen since. The best part about that was the karma. Because that match took place about the same time the Tough Enough episode aired when Bob Holly beat the living piss out of that kid Matt.
  22. Credit: Jay Bower/411 Does anyone actually agree with what he said?
  23. Just about everytime there was a Chris Jericho Vs Chris Benoit, JR screwed up their names. Vince McMahon almost getting decapitated by the bottom rope when Chyna threw him over the top. Summerslam 96, HBk throwing a hissy fit and screaming at Vader "YOU MOVED!" Pillman jumping on Heenan's back during Nitro and Heenan thinking it was a fan "What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
  24. APA's T-shirt "Always Pounding Ass"
  25. You could see Holly sandbag Lesnar when he went for the power bomb. So Brock dropped him. Once again, Holly had it coming.
