It's all about A-Train! A-TRAIN KEEPS ROLLING Aug. 20, 2003 The A-Train has been on a vicious mean streak as of late. His most recent victim has been General Manager Stephanie McMahon. At the request of Mr. McMahon, Train has decimated Stephanie on more than one occasion. A-Train looks to carry this momentum into Thursday night when he teams up with the up-and-coming John Cena to battle Undertaker and the youngster Orlando Jordan. Will A-Train's momentum carry him over 'Taker and Jordan? Tune in to find out. In other action, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio takes on former Champion Matt Hardy in non-title action. Where there's Hardy, there's always that MF'er Shannon Moore. But will Rey's new partner Billy Kidman be by his side? With just 72 hours before the Fatal Fourway Match for the United States Championship at SummerSlam, all four competitors will square off in the same ring on SmackDown! when Eddie Guerrero teams up with Rhyno to take on the duo of Chris Benoit and Tajiri. "Friends" Torrie Wilson and Nidia will no doubt be at ringside when "Friends" Billy Gunn and Jamie Noble tag team to face the Basham Brothers. Perhaps Torrie and Nidia will be looking to Shaniqua for some advice outside of the ring. All this and more this Thursday night at 8/7 CT on UPN. -------------------------------------- What's worst? Orton's push on Raw or A-Train's never say die push on Smackdown?

I'm sorry, but I don't believe a damn thing Hogan ever says. He can tell me the sky is blue and I still have to go out side and check for myself because the bastard either lies or stretches the truth. -

FORMER EX-LOVER OF NBA SUPERSTAR SCOTTIE PIPPEN SPEAKS OUT With so much in the news about Kobe Bryant and his sexual assault case, the news media will soon have another story to cover. Brent Worthington, who is now an Atlanta resident claims to be a former ex-lover of Chicago Bulls NBA Basketball super star Scottie Pippen. After 20 years he is now speaking out about an on again, off again relationship the two shared together while attending Central Arkansas University back in the 80's. Brent who now lives in the Midtown-Piedmont Park area of Atlanta is a co-owner/hairstylist of a popular trendy Buckhead Hair Salon. He is speaking out about the 2 year relationship and sharing video clips of the days the two shared a personal and intimate relationship together while the two were just young students at Central Arkansas University located in Conway, Arkansas. Tiffany Long, (AG) reporter sat down and interviewed Brent at his high rise Midtown condo. When and how did you two meet? "We met back at CAU in a Biology class. He was only 19 years old at the time and I was 18. Scottie was a struggling basketball player who had little money and basically no financial support from his family. Before Scottie ever became famous, he was a struggling student at CAU. He was on a basketball scholarship, but he and his family had very little money. My father was an Investment banker and my mother a local socialite back in Little Rock, Arkansas. My parents were very close friends with Hillary and Bill Clinton who at the time was Governor of Arkansas." "Why are you now coming out with this story after 20 or so years?," asked Tiffany. "Well, Scottie and me stayed in contact throughout the years. I basically took care of Scottie when we were in college. I put clothes on his back, brought him shoes to play basketball, feed him, payed his rent for an apartment off campus, give him money for a car and even asked my parents for money to help a friend pay tuition. They never knew it was for Scottie. I told them that It was for my roommate. After my father went to jail for his involvement in the White Water Scandal in Arkansas, my mother and I were basically penniless. Scottie who at the time was on the verge of becoming a raising basketball star and was making some money. I called Scottie one day and told him that I was relocating to Atlanta and asked if he would loan me $500 to pay my mothers rent before I left and also asked for a small loan for a down payment on a new salon that I was trying to open up here in Atlanta. I told Scottie that I was not asking for a hand out, just for some help. I told him once I got my business off the ground and increased my clientele that I would pay him back every single dime with interest. Scottie screamed at me over the telephone and told me that if he every saw me again that he would kill me. He later ended our conversation by hanging the phone up in my face. I was really hurt about the situation because I truly sincerely loved this man. If it wasn't for me and my family, Scottie may not have been the person that we all know of today. After my father went to the federal pen, my mother had to file for bankruptcy and we lost everything. She had to live in a $500 a month roach infested apartment and worked at a retail store behind a makeup counter in Little Rock. I contemplated committing suicide, but I had to stay strong for my mother and little brother. While at Central Arkansas University upon Scottie's request, we would have fun by making home videos at my apartment. These home video were X-Rated and steamy in nature, 16 in all. Scottie gave names to each and everyone of the videos and wrote the title with a black magic marker on the tapes. He called one of them, "My White Slave." Scottie loved to role play and make home movies of the two of us. He would later love to watch them while we were engaging in intercourse. On one occasion, I contracted an STD from Scottie. I was involved with him for two years and never slept around. I was truly committed to this man and cared for him a great deal. There was nothing I would not do for Scottie. He accused me of infidelity and he beat me black and blue. I did not report the incident to the authorities because I loved him and did not want the public to know about the secret life of the raising Central Arkansas University basketball star. On another occasion, a very close friend of mine who travel with CAU's basketball team and kept their basketball stats. told me that he too was involved with Scottie. He said that while on road trips, he and Scottie would sneak out and be together on the team bus. This deeply hurt me more and when I confronted Scottie, he slapped me and told me to mind my business. I still continued on with our relationship because I knew that Scottie had a lot of pressure on him with his basketball and his finances. Our two year relationship later ended after he found his self interested in women. After much thought and consideration and over 20 years of hurt, disappointment and betrayal, I have decided to come public with the story and my relationship with the NBA star and write a book. It is properly entitled, "My Years With A Rising NBA Star." It is about my personal encounter with Scottie and our 2 year relationship. Brent is presently trying to get a book deal so that his story can be told. He also has the 16 volume home videos collection of the two when young Scottie was a struggling college basketball star in a "SAFE PLACE." ------------------------------------------ True, false, money hungry, huh?

Nash and HBK fight for the good of the business!

You would think that tough talk means "We're going to kick his ass," but with the Kliq it means "I'm going to whine to Vince!" -

Are you questioning Anglesault and Bret Hart's sexuality?
-
In the new Bret Hart column, Bret says Edge told him a few weeks ago Bret is Angle's favorite Wrestler. Here is the whole column if you want to read it.. Bret Hart’s Calgary Sun column for August 16, 2003 Just the other day I ran into Jim on the Bow River bike path. You know, Jim The Anvil Neidhart. We stopped to drink a couple of ...”soda pops”. Jim was beaming - like a little kid with a big devilish grin as he pulled a magazine out of his backpack. It was the Pro Wrestling Illustrated 40th Anniversary of the WWE special edition. He flopped it open and pointed to an classic Hart Foundation photo, “Greatest tag team in the history of the WWF! Not bad, huh? ” he chuckled pulling his goatee. To tell the truth I took it as a huge compliment because I know how hard both of us worked at trying to earn that claim when we ruled the world of tag team wrestling as two time WWF Champions. Jim and I were a unique team for a lot of reasons as we combined Jim’s speed and strength with my skill and ring psychology. We were like a Porsche and a tank. Another thing that was unique to our relationship was of course the fact that Jim was married to my sister Ellie and ranked right up there as one of Stu’s favorite sons in law. Even to this very day I’ve never had one argument with Jim and we’ve remained close friends through some bizarre and trying times. As I flipped through the mag I couldn’t help but notice that I was rated the greatest Intercontinental champion of all time. Another huge compliment. I smiled at the fond memory of some of my greatest IC matches - against the late great British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith and Mr Perfect Curt Hennig, and then there was Wrestlemania VIII with Roddy Piper. A few months ago the WWE asked wrestling fans around the world to vote on who was the greatest world champion of all time and I was touched and delighted when I heard that I won. When I think of the great WWF Champions - Bruno Sammartino, Buddy Rogers, Superstar Billy Graham, Bob Backlund and Hulk Hogan, I feel genuinely honored to even be considered in their company. Any great wrestler will tell you that he wouldn’t have gotten very far without the loyalty and support of his fans. But really, I stood on some pretty tall shoulders. Because I grew up inside the business I was able to watch and appreciate how Buddy Rogers put the psychology into wrestling, changing it forever into what it is. Bruno and Backlund were two of the classiest champions I ever watched and I tried to emulate them throughout my career by carrying myself with dignity and respect like they did. Superstar Graham and Hulk Hogan were the consummate showmen who kicked the doors wide open. Like Jim, I wore a beaming smile when just a couple of weeks ago Edge told me that Kurt Angle’s favorite wrestler is me! Kurt Angle, who I’ve yet to meet, along with Stone Cold, Undertaker and The Rock are all great wrestlers in their own right. When I look back over my career one of my biggest fans and closest friends who buoyed my confidence in those dark early days when I needed it the most was my tag partner Jim Neidhart. He rarely gets the credit he deserves but I’ve always known that I wouldn’t have become a great champion without him. We clinked our soda pops together and toasted the old Hart Foundation days. Best there is ...best there was ..best there ever will be.

Orton's "monster push" has just begun. Just wait until he wins the title on Sunday.

Jericho Gaining Power Backstage? Is it just me or does it seem like Jericho is being treated alot better this year and especially the last few months? Maybe he is finally playing "politics" in his favor or maybe he has become "friends" with Triple H and other kliq members. Well, being friends with the kliq is the same as politics if you think about it. It could be because of the Goldberg incident, but I think it goes back farther then that. People complained Shawn Michaels didn't put Chris Jericho over at 'Mania, but they still had a great match. And even before that at the Royal Rumble. Jericho eliminated Shawn and destroyed him. Since all of that. Jericho has be given his own spot on Raw with the High Lite Reel. He has since been put over HBK and Nash. He's been hanging around with Evolution without being buried in the process and now he's back in the main event at Summerslam. Now, I don't think he's going to be winning the title anytime soon. But, he seems to be doing something right and knowing how the WWE works I have a hard time believing it's because "all the hard work is finally paying off." Bashing the Internet, bashing Goldberg's ego, sucking up to management, being friends with the kliq or just some good old fashion hard work. Why is Chris Jericho being treated right and given some respect finally?
-
Eddie isn't having great matches now? He looks pretty darn good to me every week.
-
I can see Nash jobbing after 15 run ins and 4 ref bumps, but I can't see Jericho being the one to shave Nash's head.

McMahons not the house show draws they expected to be… Vince McMahon was not at either Smackdown-brand house show this weekend, despite appearing prominently in the advertising for the shows. The road agents told the wrestlers that McMahon's absence was due to transportationweather problems getting to the towns, but that was not totally believed. Many felt that McMahon just decided not to come to the shows because his presence wasn't increasing attendance. WWE is continuing to promote Vince and Stephanie McMahon as appearing at house shows, because they believe they are top draws that will bring more people to house shows. Despite the fact that attendance has not been affected by the McMahons, they are still expected to be at many house shows in the coming weeks. Credit: 1wrestling.com

I said it once, I'll say it again. Triple H's face turn will begin at Summerslam when Randy Orton wins the title. I made that prediction and I'm sticking to it!

I always thought the Black Crowes were underrated and never got the full attention they deserve. I miss that band.

In the words of Anglesault. "Brock big, Rob small!"
-
Lets not get crazy now. Nirvana & grunge didn't take over the whole world. There was still rap, r&b, pop and other music out there at the time. Gangsta (or how ever you spell it) took off big around then. Ice T was doing the whole rap/rock thing. Shit like TLC and Boys to Men were big around the time. Hell, even Metallica's "black" album and Aerosmith's "Get A Grip" were selling over 10 million records at the time and were still being played on the radio and their video's were all over MTV. Of course around the time or maybe even little after grunge died down, that whole "coffee shop" rock stuff took off.
