I should have been following the ECW threads. I had no idea they were going live on Tuesdays. Randy Orton being added to ONS2 killed a lot of my excitement and hope for the ECW brand, but I'm not giving up on it yet.

You're obviously talking specifically about ONS2, right? Would have been the same if the ratings flopped hard the other night.

ECW is a success: ECW fans wanted to see Cena get beat up. Cena = draw. ECW flops: RVD.

Bullshit at it's finest. There reason Shawn shooted was because they wanted to have a few matches but Hogan refused to job. He wanted to go over in every match. Hogan has full creative control and unlike HBK, Austin is smart enough not to trust Hogan.

I laughed during the battle royal when Terry Funk starting going after Justin Credible and Justin had to tell him he was on his side.

They used rest holds at a time when fast paced brawls were considered "technical wrestling." It was still very much the Austin era.

Will any results from this show be ruined if I read the Smackdown spoilers?

Randy Orton killed all the excitement I had built up for the PPV Sunday. They need to give up on that piece of shit. Lillian getting hurt has become the best part of Raw. It was only a few weeks ago Kane bounced her off the announcers table.

I don't know if this falls under "unpopular opinions," but Kurt Angle should not be moved to ECW. It should be a one time deal at ONS2.

The preview now on WWE.com says the contract signing will kick off Raw.

With the exception of maybe WM, my crowd here for New Years Revolution holds the record for most Cena hatred. We were cheering Carlito and Chris fuckin' Masters like they were Hulk Hogan when they attacked Cena.

How was it decided Rick Rude would be part of DX? At times it seem like HBK didn't even want him out there.

Smackdown becomes ECW. All cruisers to ECW. Randy Orton fired. Mark Henry released. JBL in a non-wrestling role. Matt Hardy get a nice push. At least at the US/IC title level. Undertaker retires at WM undefeated. Male managers. Stables once in a while. Heel HBK. A new generation of Hart wrestlers. Cena as a full blown heel with a new look. He doesn't need a full make over. Just little things. Grow out some hair, lose the jean shorts, sneakers, etc,. Continue to keep Edge with Lita (heels) and make him a regular World/WWE champion. Build a real tag division. If they need to throw random guys together at first that's fine, but they need to look and work like a real tag team. MNM actually having tag team moves was great. It shouldn't be that hard.

Only two T-Shirts I've liked in recent years are Edge's And Kurt Angle's "American By Birth, Angry By Choice." Couldn't find a pic of the Angle shirt.

You could also flip the coin and say Dave Meltzer is stealing from the pockets of these wrestling organizations (and the wrestlers themselves)when he sells spoilers and future story lines in his newsletter.

I still find it suspicious Benoit is taking some time off for "wear and tear" at the same time Masters and Mercury are in trouble for drugs. Unlike the other two, Benoit is well respected so they could be trying to keep it quiet.
