If this was directed at me, I'm not up in arms over Banky's reinstatement because 1) Dames thinks he had cause, and basically that's good enough for me - because I don't know differently; 2) Banky says he's learned his lesson and he'll behave from now on; and 3) I never disliked Banky in the first place. There was nothing "grass roots" about what got you banned. It was a single post by a single poster: me. And the "campaign" lasted all of one and a half hours before your ass landed in the trashcan. If a majority of posters did indeed agree with the banning (something I don't contend and have no way of knowing), it was at least partly because you yourself explicitly admitted that you were in direct and deliberate violation of the board rules. I believe a majority considered you an intelligent and entertaining poster both before and after the ban, and that includes me. But you left no one any choice in the matter. I'm willing to wipe the slate clean. If you have indeed learned your lesson, we shouldn't have any more problems. Welcome, and welcome back.
