I havent even really dipped into the Be A Pro feature. I started one the day I picked it up, but left it alone and played Dynasty instead. Then again I also use the NHL 94 controls....am I missing out on the true essence of this game?

I'm actually looking forward to RAW for the first time in years..

So, I assume, everyone here is frightened to go see this?

This thread further proves, nobody (even hockey fans) cares bout the All-Star game.

The NHL needs to do a complete overhaul of their Skills Competition. Last year I found it to be very boring and disappointing. This year I watched again, hoping they've improved some elements, but to no avail. It seems very unorganized and nobody seems to really care. Did anyone see the much anticipated breakaway challenge? Buh. You had guys like St. Louis and Getzlaf trying some cool stuff, but everyone else was very slow and very uninterested. You'd think these guys would be honored to do this and would at least come up with a few trick shots to excite the crowd. Ovechkin did his costume gimmick, but even that was a little weak on the grand scale. Fuck you NHL, the NBA Slam Dunk competition it ain't.

Definitely not hot. Mediocre episode again this week..

“Dracula’s Lament” from “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” FUCK YOU OSCAR!

Fuck it - trade up Vesa for a solid top 6 forward from some desperate team, like a NYI or LA. Might not get a ton of value from Vesa at this point, so I don't even wanna speculate what T.O would get in return. That way you have another piece up front, which they need big time, and it also gives them a chance to give Pogge the ball for the rest of the season, while having Joesph play mentor to the young lad. That way, you can see if he can roll for next year or if you have to make alternate arrangements.

Years ago I would have chuckled at the Hilary Duff line, but damn...me likey now. God love her too, she still continues to support her man and his shitty, shitty team.

A Small History of My Declined Interest

Alright in an attempt to salvage this thread, I'll throw something out there: Since I haven't watched a lot over the past few years, what would people say is John Cena's finest work? I'm aware of his battles with Umaga (most notably their Last Man Standing match), he also had a couple of good matches with HBK I recall, but what other Cena gems out there are worth a respectful watch? Also, serious and legitimate suggestions only. I don't wanna hear about how awesome all of his matches are in their own little way. Bob, I'm pointing in your direction. -
Wow - just as I read this I looked up and the commercial came on. Weeeird..

BOS, DET, PHI? Regardless, I see your point..

Well, I just got back from seeing this. Surprisingly, the theater I went to, which is usually not very busy, was pretty full (75%) for this movie. A lot of punks and wanksters, but that was to be expected - we're not seeing Benjamin Button here. Regardless, the movie was pretty good. Although it comes off more as a HBO-type movie than a big-screen feature. Jamal Woolard did a fantastic job as Biggie, but the rest of the cast is questionable at best. There's also a few gaps in the story and would tend to leave a lot of questions unanswered for people who don't know the full history of the tale. But overall, the story, the music and overall intention of the movie makes me give it a thumbs up. Not too high, but up nonetheless.

Well, the argument still holds up. Also I don't get what you're trying to say. Marleau has had a "comeback" year and the young guys are turning it up, so Thornton is the MVP? You know this is the MID-SEASON awards, right?
-
Yes, Thornton is the Sharks MVP. He's not? Look at the Sharks before he arrived and look at them after he arrived. I believe Marleau was there the whole time, so go figure. Lidstrom is infact the best Defensemen in the NHL. I don't disagree with that statement one bit. But that's why there's a Norris Trophy.

That was actually really, really funny..

What the hell is everyone doing now? John Cena is the almighty end all, be all of wrestling right now. He makes money and people cheer for him (because they are trained to), so everybody retract your anti-Cena statements NOW. *gag* -
Not a great episode, but not a bad episode either. Also, this was the first episode that I actually found Angela attractive. Oh that slut.. Go figure.

What will be the worst movie of 2009?

Seriously, there will never be a black Preside.. - eh, nevermind. -
FACEBOOK. Although, it has it's evils, I do get a kick out of it. If you do dig it, it becomes very addictive. The funny thing I find about Facebook though, everyone's friends list is overflowing with people they have no intention of ever talking to again.

Bob, honestly I couldn't careless if anyone "backed me up", almost as much as I really don't give a shit about how much of a man-crush you have for ol' five knuckles. I don't like John Cena, that was my point. I never once blamed him directly for my lost interest over the past few years. I just didn't enjoy him or most of his matches. Besides, your arrogance is not even exclusive to their discussion. Since I've jumped back on, I've seen your posts everywhere, and a good chuck of them get an actual eye roll from me. I used to enjoy your posts. Fuck, I used to get a kick out of your SNL reviews and even looked forward to them. But time doesn't stand still, people change. I guess I just don't tolerate things as much I used to. Hmm - I might start a list.. 1) WWE 2) bob_barron -
I'm this close to dropping Sundin in my Yahoo league.
