Are you for real? So you only like seeing muscley guys in tights? You care that much? Is there a closet you're hiding in, somewhere? As HTQ said, get off of the misconception that only ripped/jacked guys are in shape. You can be in shape and NOT toned at the same time, you know? The guy's workrate is decent and he's a throwback to Stan Hansen, Dick Murdoch, etc. so I'm all for guys like him kicking the asses of pretty boys like Cade et al.

Personally, I like Cyclops the way he is. It's fun to hate him.

We call it X-Mas so that we don't have to celebrate Christmas. It's all about the birth of Santa, baby.

JLU is supposed to have new episodes sometime this month from what I hear.
-
Is the movie based on any of the stories for any of the games? Or is it completely original?
-
Honestly. I hated this show. Way too "anime'ish" for my taste.
-
The guy is also a licensed dentist if I remember correctly.

I'd been a Wolverine mark for years as a kid and a teenager (really, who wasn't?), but to be quite honest Archangel is the only character I've given a shit about since then.

Bored waiting for the next new episode - damn holidays! I came across this wierd-ass gem from Dose.ca:
-
Heh, I forgot about that!
-
Really? Cool! Brotherhood of the Wolf was awesome!

God I hate that crowd, and especially the idiots in the front row who dress up like Jeff Hardy.

Exactly. Though, if you want to see this style arguement in the extreme and ridiculously hilarious category - there is someone complaining on IMDB that the actress playing Kitty Pryde isn't Jewish (since Shadowcat is Jewish) and that they wish that the "ethnicity" was kept in tact. Oookay. Now I remember why I don't go to the IMDB message boards.

I'm mostly just annoyed that he wasn't Russian in X2 and he probably won't be Russian now. Why fuck with something so simple?

Do you think they would actually use the winning poster to promote the film? Resident Evil did this as well. I have a copy of the winning poster, which is miles better than the poster that the studio created. For this one - I don't think they'll be making it into a full size poster: This is very low quality to even consider printing up... you can't design low at 72dpi and then convert it to 300dpi for print. It just doesn't work that way. And... Looks like the winner gets a copy of their poster and then it's only available as a cell phone wallpaper??

I'm sorry, is this the same actor? Is he still going to be not-Russian?

It makes perfect sense. Plus he was human in part 2 if anyone remembers the character on TV so the mutantation would still be new and scary to him. help me out on this...in the comics originally, Beast was dipicted as a big man with huge feet and hands, right? At what point did he become furry and blue? From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beast_(comics) "Some years later (in Amazing Adventures (volume 2) #11), McCoy left the X-Men after completing a doctorate in biophysics at the Xavier Institute and became a research scientist at Brand Corporation, a genetics research facility. He isolated a chemical catalyst in hope of reducing the freakish aspects of his appearance, but it instead mutated him further, as he grew gray fur all over his body (which later turned blue), and acquired sharp ears, elongated canine teeth, claws, enhanced senses and an accelerated healing factor."

Feh - no loss, imo. The guy was lacking in many areas.
-
Heh, expose the business? Like that hasn't been done a million times over already.

Sorry - I've just now had a chance to watch my taped copy of Impact from the 3rd. Bobby Heenan. Wow, it's sad that his voice is so awful now. I mean, I'm not one of those guys who thinks "oh no, he lost weight that must mean he's gonna die soon" because I think the weight loss is probably better for his health, but the voice. The cancer really fucked him up. I can't even imagine listening to him on commentary, as he sounds like the greased up deaf guy from Family Guy.

a] Beast looks like shit. I don't know where you get off saying he looks "better than in the comics" - which is just a stupid statement. b] Maroon? I won't even go into this... c] As for having faith - no thanks, I've read the script spoilers and all the FX in the world won't be able to save this pile of dung.

I don't know if I am saying what the original poster intended, but every talk I've heard in the past few years for an Iron Man movie has Tom Cruise as Iron Man. Tom Cruise was mentioned as being interested in the part (he likes the character of Tony Stark) But he was never actually connected to the movie. He'd be an ok tony stark though, not that terrible he is a good actor even with all his other faults (And he won't have to wear lifts to sit in a wheelchair or be cgi'd in an iron man suit) I feel Clive Owen would make an AWESOME Tony Stark. as for Iron Man being scrapped, it was de-licenesed from New Line( I think it was New Line) and Marvel is going to do it themselves with their new movie division. (Which was originally supposed to include the new Captain America movie, an Avengers movie, and some others (even potentially Dr. Strange, the 2nd greatest marvel character after Iron Man ) So it'll still happen, it's just a matter of when. And who directs it is of course gonna be the real issue. I might cry if they made a BAD iron man movie EDIT: Timberlake is unacceptable. Tom Selleck...I don't really know, I'd have to see him in the role. I could definitely deal with Clive Owen in that role!
-
Wierd. It would only work on a 30-man rumble for me.
-
Yep, crazyness aside, I have no problem with Cruise either. I had read in a few places, though, that Timberlake was trying to get the role. This is much akin to Beyonce Knowles playing Wonder Woman, in my eyes: unacceptable. As for Selleck. It would so rule! He looks exactly like Tony Stark, and I'm sure he could do the old-billionaire-industrialist-superhero-womanizing-alcoholic role some justice.
