  1. Man this has "god awful" written all over it. They should've went the "Beowulf" route for this movie. Ie: CGI so good it almost looks real.
  2. I got that impression from the movie. PS - I fucking loved this movie.
  3. Doubtful. I tried asking for that style when I first got the game and no one was really willing to write up templates. I just went and got an AR Max Drive from ebay for like $12.99. If you plan to use it a lot, it's worth it.
  4. Yah, it's tucked away in my hanging filing cabinet above my desk. I can only use it after hours though.. or when the boss is wandering around out of the office. In some ways my office is a lot like The Office.
  5. You can transfer between two cards, but each card can only have one savefile on it.
  6. A few guys over at FPC have it. Apparently they got it at local shops. One guy scanned in pages from the instruction manual, etc, to prove it as well. Myself, I've got a friend in DC buying it and shipping it to me this week. I already have the Japanese version, but I want to support this port's release, and plus I can play this version on my PS2 at work.

I would love that, actually. Those kinds of "on rails shooter" games are really the only co-op games that my girlfriend and I enjoy to play together. That and Bust a Move Bash.

    Heroes

Most likely for being a moron.
  9. Apparently the 13th is the ship date, anyway, so it probably won't be in stores until the 14-16th..
  10. Seriously. Why not just stick with REDRUM?

    Genesis.

Killings "missed his flight" to Japan, apparently.
  12. LMAO @ the Leon's ad.

What exactly is in this pipe?
  14. They also had John Tenta in their list of wrestlers who died early and were insinuating that they died BECAUSE of wrestling. Meanwhile, Tenta was a cancer sufferer.
  15. Yeah and they also washed their hands of WCW and sold the company off years ago.
  16. Hogan could give a shit about WWE, so I doubt he'd hide. Plus the shoulder span of the person was way too small to be Hogan, or even Heyman (given his girth).
  17. So in WWE's unedited version, he first says that he's "absolutely not" taken steroids. Then he goes into his story and then says that he "can't tell you I haven't - but you'll never be able to prove that I have."
  18. On the wrestler select screen, the wrestler's finisher is listed as "Critical: Move name here" - the "issue" with some of the current fans is finisher's don't always cause a critical and some new players are probably going to be confused by this when they get into the edit area. It's a non-issue for me, personally.
  19. I think it's fine. The gameplay is pretty cool, IMO. I like that they used the remote to control any gun weapon, and you can actually move at the same time you shoot - something RE4 lacked. The censoring of the kills isn't that big of a deal in the end. I would love to be able to play it how it was meant to be played, but you get used to the wierd filter effect pretty quickly.
  20. Yeah, it seems a lot of them over there quickly went from "Yay, Fire Pro Returns for North America, finally!" to "You better do this right or we riot!! OMGLOLZKTHXBYE!" Worst heel turn ever, heh.
  21. 1. For all the pissing and moaning going on over at the FPC, I don't find this important at all. 2. This is a little more problematic, but oh well, what can you do? It really only seems to matter to hardcore fans who know the difference between the Critical Skill and the wrestler's Finishing move. Casual fans aren't going to really give a shit, and criticals are rare enough that I doubt it's going to set off any alarms.
  22. I play the game as realistically I can, depending on who I'm using. That even includes letting the CPU get some offense in if needed. Don't mind if I lose either.
  23. Similar, yes. Square for weak moves. X for medium moves. Circle for strong moves. Circle + X for the move that's usually a finisher.
  24. If you're a graphics type guy, this series sort of sucks, but gameplay, it's quite superb actually. Well actually another downside is they don't really seem to distinguish the difference between a finisher and a regular move. I guess it's more in line with Japan though where even an elbow strike finishes a guy as much as a burning hammer does. Nah, pretty graphics don't mean much to me. I've played some fun games that looked like a 12 year old designed it. As long as it's enjoyable and giving me a great wrestling game (haven't seen one of those in a long time) then I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Plus the 15 dollar tag just screams "low risk, high reward". The controls do worry me a little bit, how much of a timing problem we talking here? You just have to train yourself to hit the button when you see the two wrestlers hands touch eachothers shoulders in the lockup stance. It's really not that hard to get used to at all. Once you get the hang of it, as everyone else has said above me, you'll be pulling off moves left, right and center!
  25. How is Nash is that bad of shape? He looked pretty fit when he attacked Angle the other week on Impact. You can tell his knees are still a major issue with him everytime he walks. He's far from mobile - was he ever though? But I would be one to think he's worse than ever these days. Bad knees do not equal heart attacks, though, which is really what I was asking about.
