  1. Boooo...
  2. I seriously question the point of even making this movie when there are already active (Batman, Superman) and soon to be active (Wonder Woman) movie franchises out there for the main characters. Can't they just wait until this latest crop has run it's course and THEN make the big JLA movie?
  3. Wow, they couldn't even get Sandman's finisher right: http://ps2.ign.com/articles/823/823136p1.html Oh and he has a normal entrance. It's so wonderful that Yukes is committed to authenticity...
  4. Agreed. Also, I have to say that TNA spoilers are consistently some of the most BORING sounding shit I've ever read.
  5. He's about the same size as Punk right now. I'd actually say he's about the size of Shawn Michaels - probably hovering around the 185lb mark. Ie: his real weight, not his billed as weight. Just a guess though from some of the promotional things he's been doing recently.
  6. In an interview Jericho did with the Baltimore Sun back in July, they asked him if he would return for special appearances, and here's what he said: Q: When you do come back, do you want to work a full schedule again or do you want to be a guy who kind of comes and goes and makes special appearances? A: No, that’s not me. I’m “go hard or go home.” When I left, I never said I was retiring. I just said I needed a break and I said when the time was right and I could come back better than ever, I would. When I come back, it’s to come back and make a difference and to play the game. I don’t really think guys coming in for special appearances and leaving really helps. If you come in for one show every two or three months, it’s a good nostalgia thing, but you really can’t make any forward progress. You might as well just come out and wave at the crowd like an ex-president at a parade and then disappear. If I come back, it’s to do what I do best and become one of the biggest names in wrestling again. Source: http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/sports/wre..._jericho_1.html Saying and doing are two different things, ESPECIALLY in wrestling.
  7. If it is Jericho it's probably going to be a "non-wrestling-chance-to-plug-my-book" type of deal. He doesn't look anywhere close to "in-ring" shape as was mentioned here earlier.
  8. This thread has caused me to waste several hours surfing old consoles and games on ebay. Some really good deals on there these days.
  9. I kinda felt the same way but I've only kept one system (pre-PS2 generation) - my SNES. My NES was long gone years ago and was unusable anyway, but the N64 which I just got rid of on ebay was really an underwhelming system for me. Almost as much as the Gamecube. I think I only had about 6 games for the N64 and less for the Cube. The SNES is where most of my fondest gaming memores took place which is why I'll never get rid of it or the games that I have for it.
  10. One for myself, one for my wife, then my 3 boys have one. That'll do it..
  11. ^^ I was going to ask the same thing.
  12. You are correct. Adam Baldwin plays Superman this time around. The animation style is very similar to the DCAU, though, with a few tweaks to make it look more "mature/gritty" - this is what was said in an issue of Wizard, anyway.
  13. Fuck yes that was awesome! I am so glad this show has started up again!!
  14. Paul Heyman isn't a bible-thumping Christian, I don't think TNA would want him.
  15. The cover art isn't great, but it gives me a nostalgic feeling. It feels like a throwback/tribute to wrestling game covers of the past: Like these... Natsume Championship Wrestling http://www.rvgfanatic.com/mediac/400_0/med...01/IMG_3942.JPG Tag Team Wrestling http://www.mobygames.com/images/covers/sma...84695582-00.jpg Tecmo World Wrestling http://images.vmhsales.com/images/covers/i...6077/607794.jpg
  16. Isn't Rikishi (Junior Fatu) a former WWE World Tag Team Champion?

    Wii

Was Pro Wrestling ever released on the VC? I can't remember off the top of my head and can't seem to find a list of the games (that's not blocked from work, that is).
  18. Same here. I have no real reason to buy the game other than I'm a huge "collector" of the Firepro series and I'd also like to see the game succeed as far as sales go in North America. EDIT: Oh, and also I'm hoping that the English translation can give me some insight as far as the logo editor goes. *headache*
  19. FYI - Agetec has a video of the game posted on their site: http://www.agetec.com/catalog/product_info...products_id=119 Not sure if they used the original game or if this is actual footage from the translated copy. Though I'm pretty sure they're using edits since Tiger Mask & Bruiser Brody are doing moves I've never seen them do in the Japanese version (Abdullah Fork & Muta Mist respectively).
  20. No and no. This is strictly a translation job/port.
  21. When I went to see Land of the Dead, some woman actually brought a baby in a stroller AND a todler with her. The usual kid and baby in a movie theatre bullshit ensues and people kept booing and complaining.. Either way when she was finally asked to leave everyone started clapping and cheering. "FUCK YOU!" was her response. Classy!
  22. I could go on and on as well, but instead I will let the intro to ATHFCMFfT do the talking for me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ehj9nre5rGU
  23. The match itself was pretty good, but the commentary was horrible. Definitely horrible. Sounded like a 14 year-old dubbing commentary on Youtube or something. Also - 30lbs lighter for Anderson, and less that horrible back tattoo that he now has. Jesus Christ what was he on when he got that done?
  24. Gerweck.net says this is from Sandman's myspace: I can't view myspace from work but this is the link they gave at the bottom of the posting: http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...logID=309278172
