I don't understand how there could be three variations of the IWGP heavyweight title in existence. This is very much akin to the NWA heavyweight title being splintered in the 30s and 40s with many claiming to have possession of the title. Personally, if Brock was screwed then that was his fault. He should have read the contract in full or at least have a competent translator and attorney who would have made sure that it was what he was signing for. Second, the IGF is a breakaway promotion of New Japan. Inoki should have had his version of a heavyweight strap ready to give to Kurt Angle, and given the IWGP 3rd Belt back to its owners, no questions asked. It's a shame that it had to come down to this, but I, for one, would like to see Nakamura end this shame once and for all. Actually there's only two. The "3rd Belt" naming convention just references that the belt Angle holds was the 3rd title that NJPW had designed. I believe the first title was round, the second title is the crown style belt that they're using right now.

If the 90s means exciting unpredictable complex intertwining storylines between multiple personalities at the same time such as a link to the opening of Summerslam 97 or a link to the opening of Survivor Series 98 and the new identity means whatever passes for story today (Not much), we should probably go back to the 90s. God, I just watched those links and they make me miss wrestling so much. Not the crap that passes for it now with Cena and Lashley embarrassing themselves in a feud based on nothing, but the interesting, well-written stuff that they had back in the day. I agree 100% with this, Iggy. Especially watching that SS1998 compilation based around the Rock's heel turn. I'm glad I have all of that stuff on tape still.

These two occurances in the game have been way over-exaggerated. Both of them are cut-scenes from what I gather. Unlike GTA-style games where you can real-time curb stomp the shit out of people.. or any shooting game where you can pop heads off of shoulders. It's pretty obvious that Manhunt 2 is just being made an example of given some of the other shit that's out there on the market right now. I think a better question is why NOT make this content? I HARDLY doubt that R*/TT was making this game so grotesque to force a reaction out of religious groups given the small amount of ANYTHING it takes to force a reaction out of them to begin with for fucks sake.
