  1. Does anyone know how many Black African-American baseball players are on major league rosters?
  2. That's partly because he doesn't know how to pace himself. If he knew, it was just one inning he had to pitch. I think, he might really benefit from it.
  3. Yes. He pitches more like a closer, than a starter half the time.
  4. Try Wood has the closer.
  5. In the words of Grandpa. "Too bad they didn't get the whole damn family".
  6. Lincoln was probably more of a marked man than Bush is.
  7. I agree. I do think the NBA will start to gain more popularity, the play is becoming more up tempo, and LeBron seems like a good player to build the league around in the upcoming years.
  8. Well, NFL players like Ricky Williams, Quincy Carter, Akili Smith all played minor league baseball, and said they loved playing. They just weren't good enough to make the big leagues. Williams said, he would rather of played baseball than football.
  9. Yes, I do, talk like that, in real life.
  10. How do you sell your sport, against the NFL and NBA? Guys spend 5-6 years in the minors, and that doesn't even guarantee a MLB career? Right know HS school players, not only can go to the NBA, but they can contribute, and put up numbers. Blue Chip, football players can sign with teams like Michigan, Miami, USC and play in front 100,000+, leave in three years and become a first round pick and make impact their rookie season.
  11. I think any of the divas, with any athletic ability could become at least adequate in-ring workers if they worked hard at it.
  12. I doubt most fans would remember him.
  13. They did fire Rob Dibble. That's a postive.
  14. Everyone does realize i was joking, correct?
  15. I'll handle most of the outside cooking on the grill, both at home, and at my parents house. I love making steak, chicken, and been told my porkchops are very good. As strange has it sounds, I suck at making hamburger patties.
  16. News of such importance should be on the TSM front page, and every folder in the TSM messageboard.
  17. Guess, he thought he could control his problem.
  18. My name is LaTroy Hawkins. I couldn't hold a real save (one run lead), if i was given two outs, and the third batter was given 2 strikes, and was a blind retard, and the on-deck and in the hole hitters were 100 year old women in wheelchairs.
  19. They don't even hype the players that much. Cro-Magnon Man Damon is probably the one pushed must postively. Everything about A-Rod, is how apparently how much the Red Sox hate him, and how no one on the Yankees stood by him.
  20. Even though Ryan got the save. It just shows, what a bad job setup men, do in the closer rule. That was for you Al.
  21. How can you tell with the wooden mask he's wearing. I've pimped him before, but i'm watching the game right know. Joe Mauer has everything needed to be a real superstar. Johan Santana's dominance, and unlike a Randy Johnson he's much more approachable to the average fan.
  22. Albert Pujos is arguably the best player in the game, and unlike jackass Barry Bonds. He's someone fans can actually cheer for. I don't place all the direct blame on MLB, the media's obession with Bonds and the negative things like steroids don't help. However, MLB let's the media almost decide what gets covered, and what doesn't.
  23. On a local radio show this morning they asked who was baseball's most popular player. Barry Bonds was unanimous choice. However, he's popular, but he's the most recognizable face in baseball. It got me thinking, what a poor job the MLB done in really pushing new stars. Jeter is liked by alot of fans, but he plays for the Yankees, so that takes away about half his popularity. A guy like David Ortiz, with his personality and talent, should be the type of player MLB gets behind.
  24. Haha! Dr. Jack Van Impe told me!
  25. Just a feeling, it's worse than just an alcohol problem. Anyways, hope he can get better.
