Call me Pope Benedict XVI. Speaking of which. What do you this Pontiff's main focus being? Does he continue his strict conservative ways, or does the papalcy change him? In the past men who have gone in more liberal...left conservative, and vice versa. I think Pope Benedict will focus a lot on bringing spirtuality and the catholic church back to an ever increasing Secular Europe. He'll maintain the status quo in the Catholic Church doctrine, and won't be do anything that will dramatically shake the churches foundation.

I don't disagree....just never considered Rikishi a star, just a popular wrestler. A star's gotta have longer staying power than Rikishi did.

I think HHH gets too much credit for the success of 2000. He was the main focus, and it was his best year both in ring and outside the ring. However, look who he worked with. Mick Foley, The Rock, Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle. All four outstanding inside the ring, and on the mic. All imo...better at both aspects than HHH.

I honestly think it was because Kreski was just a really, really good writer. He figured out which guys worked well together (hell, Rikishi v Venis was shockingly decent) and gave them a reason to fight. Odd, since he, by all accounts, didn't actually like wrestling. -=Mike Kreski's departure equaled the worsening of the product.

They did all of this while Austin was out with the neck injury. Personally, I don't think that's a coincidence. Everyone in company, I think wanted to step up and prove they could succed without Stone Cold.
