Watching FX today, they're running a preview for just next week's episode, as opposed to the season preview they ran on Tuesday. I'll use spoiler tags, just in case, but it's more the plot of this episode rather than a particular giveaway. And the teaser at the end of the preview: Can't wait. This season looks to be awesome. I'm just disappointed it's going to be even shorter than usual.

I know a lot of people don't care for SK, but for those who are interested, he gave Taker-Batista ***1/2, and HBK-Cena ****3/4. Personally, I think he overrated the latter, but I'll have to give it another viewing.

I was surprised the crowd didn't tear Cena up as much as usual.

I don't mind Cena winning, but I hate the STFU.

I just realized, I forgot about the ECW match... that should've been ahead of this.

Were the cameras supposed to miss the first two explosions?

I like it better this way. I think putting the three big matches one after the other would be overkill. After a big Taker win here, you cool the crowd down with Ashley/Melina, and then the BOTB with a likely 5-10 minute haircutting, and finally HBK/Cena.

Fine match, but under 10 minutes. Surprised the flying headbutt actually finished a match.

I'm not getting my hopes up yet.

Sucks for Khali and Kane to have to follow MITB, but it obviously had to be them or the women's title.

I'd say the first MITB is still the best, but this one was better than last year's.

That Book/Matt/Sharmell spot was interesting, but I would've preferred Book chose the briefcase, only for Matt to quickly push the ladder over.

I found this at 411. There was a Q&A session at the WWE Bacon, Bagels, & Biceps Brunch this morning, and this question was asked to Hardcore Holly... To Bob Holly - "How did it feel to beat Mantaur to qualify for King of the Ring in 1995?" Holly's Answer: "At least I'm in the WWE, what the heck are you doing?" Random, to say the least.
