None of these bands are average. Vertical Horizon is pretty average. If you combined Barenaked Ladies, the Goo Goo Dolls, Dexter Freebish, and Matchbox Twenty, you'd get Baregoo Freebox, the most average rock band on the planet.

2000 had some good times. 2001 was okay to start but went downhill pretty fast. 2002 nothing happened the first half, second half starting getting good 2003 was just awesome I had a lot of fun 2004 was a letdown

Another reason why college football doesn't make a whole slew of sense. I wouldn't root for the Badgers in the tournament if the Illini went out, or the Blue Devils or Tar Heels once the Demon Deacons are gone. I didn't want the Lightning to beat the Flames to preserve the integrity of the Eastern Conference, nor did I cheer on the St. Louis Cardinals to do it for the ol' National League. So why does it apply to college football? Stupid.

I think we had to keep up the Santa thing past its natural lifespan because of my sister being four years younger than me. As I recall by the time I was about 8 or 9, a lot of my presents were marked "from Mom and Dad" and most of my sister's were from Santa Claus. Providing I don't off myself before age 21 and remarkably go on to have a family of my own, what do you think is the best way to handle it? I don't want to insult my kids' intelligence with a made-up character, but I still want the whole spirit of the Christmas season to be there, and I don't want my kid being the loudmouthed bastard on the playground saying "my daddy said Santa is fake!" Would the "Santa Claus is a symbol for the spirit of giving" be a safe route? I don't want to lie and say that's really Santa at the mall. I mean, shit, there's a picture of me with a Santa at Randhurst Mall, and he's a lanky Korean. Remind me to post it some time.

I was biting my nails all through Christmas Day's Pistons-Pacers game because I was worried that if there was so much as a flagrant foul, Larry Brown would just yell out a nice big sustained "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!", and just start beating the shit out of random people.

I'm worrying about the poor guy. He hasn't been the same since That One Game, or maybe the Olympics. Team USA had a humiliating showing, which seems to have been the first blow. The hip surgery couldn't have been too great for him. The Pistons have been treading water, which may be a cause or an effect, perhaps a little of both. And it seems like he's just plain losing it on the sidelines. For someone who is supposed to be the protector of the sport of basketball and one of the best teachers of the game, he's threatening coaches and yelling like a madman. Technical fouls all over the place. It's really out of character. Even on Pardon The Interruption, he told Tony that some days he really just didn't feel like doing his job. Now I think Larry Brown is great, even though I'm a Bulls fan. I respect him for being one of the league's premier coaches alongside Sloan and Popovich, and he just isn't living up to it anymore. Since the Pistons were just as much a .500 team without him as they have been with him, do you think maybe Joe Dumars needs to allow Larry Brown a leave of absence so that he can just get his shit together and try to get as much of his negativity toward the league out of his system?

You can blow through Heat and Velocity in about 45 minutes, Smackdown in about 90, and two hours for Raw.
