I think there's something to be said for the fact that I follow TNA more than pretty much anyone and even I can't figure out what they're doing...but I can nail every WWE match and I only watch RAW on fast forward.

There are no future HOFers on the Buffalo Bills. That's my list.

WWE General Discussion - January 2009

Who can hate on MITB? It's a match that everyone looks forward to and it's concept has forced WWE to put titles on 3 guys for the first time in their careers. It also provides Mania with a highspot match that otherwise would go unbooked. And I'm all for variety. -

What's happening to all of the storylines heading into Mania? They shoot their top heel in the face on RAW, they have a nonsensical Hardy turn, and their celebrity pulls out of the show...all in one week! -
White Defensive Linemen all have "High motors"
-
"The Miz, John Morrison, & The Brian Kendrick b. R-Truth, Primo Colon, & Carlito" This match could rule. Also...yeah to MVP winning again!
-
*Looks around* ... Yeah...I did. But I haven't had a chance to get into it yet.

They just killed Orton (who's main eventing Mania) in front of 5 million viewers so that he can get revenge in front of 250,000 people (all of whom will order Mania anyway) at No Way Out? I don't get it. Why push him as hard as they did last week to finish a show like...that.

TNA Impact - January 29, 2009
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
The first half of the show sounds fun. I was upset about the end of the show...but then I watched the end of Raw. Even TNA can't win the stupidity battle this week. -
This was the dumbest thing I have seen in a long long time.
-
I know. But I just can't see it getting shutout of all the major awards if Slumdog pulls best picture. They've done stranger things. Although I've got this nagging feeling that Button is actually going to get that stupid Best Picture award instead of Slumdog...which should have all of the momentum.
-
I'm not willing to discount Pitt getting one because they want him to have one. Also...it's an academy kind of thing to do. If Slumdog takes picture and director, Button has to get something.
-
There's also that whole thing where when you win an Academy Award you become a member of said academy. I just don't think they look at Rourke and think...yeah...one of us. Penn's already in anyway.
-
I thought it was established that the drug deal took place in a gym lockerroom and not at a wrestling event. Also...Sean Penn won the best actor at the SAG awards last night...since the guild voters are more the same in the academy than the Globes are...Penn is the frontrunner now.

Can they explain why he made sure Jeff got in the Armageddon title match by keeping Kozlov from beating his time...or how he ran down during the Armageddon match to keep Kozlov out after he knocked Jeff off the turnbuckle...
-
Good opener. I like that he won clean since the other 3 matches are likely to all have interference.
-
And they're still referring to Swagger as undefeated even though he got pinned on Smackdown.
-
Orton will be reprimanded...possibly with fines or suspension or even being fired they say... Well...considering he was getting fired on Monday they can have fun explaining how kicking his boss in the head actually gives him a lesser punishment. Stephanie has to be with him or it makes 0 sense.

I always order the Rumble because you know that an hour of the show is going to be entertaining without worry. Even a bad rumble is better than a bad regular match.
-
Isn't that the WWE style?
-
... Edit...I put the tags on anyway.
-
I just noticed that the Rumble is in Detroit. I wish I had paid attention to that when tickets went on sale because I would have gladly driven out there for the show. Damn.
-
Primo not being in already is a head scratcher. The other 3 holders of tag titles are in.
-
Do you think we'll be able to pick and choose the wrestlers that we import over. I have no need for John Cena's army buddy Tony in the Legends game.
