LIFE OF AGONY To Record New Studio Album - Sep. 23, 2003 Reunited New York metallers LIFE OF AGONY have announced their plans to record a new studio album, tentatively due in late 2004. Speaking to HitThePit.com, drummer Sal Abruscato said, "I foresee the new material being like 'This Time' times ten. A bit more aggressive, and written better at the same time… More appealing to everyone in the world! "We all have grown more as people and musicians," Sal added. "Back [in the early days] we were a lot younger and wilder, now we have more respect and compassion for each other, and I feel that's important for the relationship. But the magic chemistry we have has not changed at all since the 90's. We can still rip the stage apart! "The future of LIFE OF AGONY looks bright and I for see great albums in the works again." LIFE OF AGONY's forthcoming double live album and DVD, titled "River Runs Again: Live 2003", is due on October 14 in the U.S. and October 20 in Europe through SPV Records. The two-disc set was recorded during the group's sold-out reunion shows at Irving Plaza in New York City on January 3-4, 2003. In addition to the eighteen live tracks, the double-live CD contains four bonus tracks featuring LIFE OF AGONY members' current projects: AMONG THIEVES (bassist Alan Robert), SUPERMASSIV (drummer Sal Abruscato), and FREAX (Keith Caputo) as well as a Keith Caputo solo track. Coinciding with the release of the CD will be a DVD of same name, which will contain extra bonus material including in-depth band interviews, interactive Menu screens, Band Biography, Discography and never-before-seen video footage from the band's personal collections. A special limited edition box set entitled "River Runs Again: Complete", containing digipak versions of the two live audio ---------------- I'm sure Choken One is going to be ecstatic about this
  4. Me too...when I play music via my computer (either MP3 or CD) I'm more likely to mess around with it then if it was on my stereo/radio
  5. actually FAKE STING and FAKE RAZOR were played by diffeent wrestlers, but they were both members of nWo Japan, just like HEROSHI TENZAN
  6. I need music on at all times. I don't even have to pay attention to it. I just like having it on. It's more of a comfort.
  7. It's my happy fun time music...just like Hatebreed. It's nice simple, not to deep music. I actually really didn't like Soulfly until I saw them play live.
  8. Batman #619 Heroes Cover, $2.25 Batman #619 Newstand Edition, $2.25 Batman #619 Villians Cover, $2.25 (I'm only going to wind up with one...decisions) Green Lantern #169, $2.25 JLA Z #1 (Of 3), $2.50 Thundercats Dogs Of War #4 (Of 5), $2.95 Amazing Spider-Man #58, $2.25 Born #4 (Of 4), $3.50 Fantastic Four #504 (#75), $2.25 Incredible Hulk #61, $2.25 Inhumans #5, $2.50 Thor Vikings #3 (Of 5), $3.50
  9. Shane can sell to Steph, which would cause the end of the WWE. I bet they would both have to agree on seleling their ownership of the company to another corporation or something.
  10. I'm glad they were the highest rated part of RAW. It was my favorite match of the night.
  11. I hate so many of the trendy emo and pop bunk bands right now that I actually wanted this album to do well, just because I hate that type of music more than I hate Fred Durst. At least Limp Biskit is unintentionally entertaining.
  12. Actually, HHH can never get a majority ownership share of WWE. I remember reading about this in one of the stock filing papers when the company went public. The stock that the McMahons own can ONLY be transferred to blood relatives/descendants of Vince and Linda. Bascially once they are gone, Shane and Steph inherit everything equally, and when they die, their children divide up the inheritance and so on. Ownership of the company will never be HHH's, as in case it will only be Steph's and their kids. If he divorces out of the family, he can't get any stock int he company because it's protected.
  13. Four. *NP: Beneath the Remains* Five...and I have a roll of toilet paper by the computer just in the event that I read the news online. If someone tells me, it's just going to drip down the side of my leg.

    What was Gauntlet Legends?
  15. I don't think his career is truly over, but if and when it is, I will be truly upset.
  16. I'm waiting for HHH's "I lost my smile, er, smirk" speech
  17. but in a War Games cage match, his team mates Arn Anderson, Ric Flair, and Lex Lugar didn't trust him in their battle against the nWo thanks to FAKE STING
  18. At least the way this is going to end will continue Jericho being a conspiracy victim
  19. If Goldberg hotshots the title to Jericho, this will be the greatest Raw ever.
  20. from blabbermouth.net .... SOULFLY: The Tribe Goes Bust - Sep. 22, 2003 SOULFLY mainman Max Cavalera has officially parted ways with the rest of his band — bassist Marcello D. Rapp, drummer Roy Mayorga, and guitarist Mike Doling. According to informed sources, the mass exodus was prompted by the firing of Rapp by Max and SOULFLY manager Gloria Cavalera (Max's wife), which in turn led Mayorga and Doling to quit in protest. Cavalera is said have already launched a search for replacement musicians with a view towards beginning work on the band's fourth album, tentatively due next summer through Roadrunner Records. It is not presently clear if SOULFLY's previously announced live appearances at the end of September — including Thursday's (September 25) gig at the Whiskey A-Go Go in Hollywood, California and Saturday's (September 27) appearance at the D-Low (Dana Wells) Memorial Show in Tempe, Arizona — will go ahead as scheduled or if they will be completely scrapped. ----- This sounds like total and utter craziness. Their drummer Roy is amazing and made seeing them live really good. It's so odd that Rapp was fired, since Max has known him for a long time; he was a bass tech for Sepultura. I wonder what kind of replacements will be made to the band. You would like to think that Max and Sepultura would have enough sense to go for a reunion tour or something....it'll take Max a while to put out a decent enough lineup to record an album/tour to support it, and despite all Derrick Green's improved vocals, "Roorback" wasn't that good of an album.

    BOO-YA~! It's coloring time.
  24. I agree with the Stuck Mojo like similarities in Sevendust. But for mainstream hard rockers, they aren't that bad.
  25. I actually to listen to DEP and Converge...it's through them that i got into Candiria.
