The new issue of Entertainment Weekly says the staff has left the show and they are looking for work elsewhere. They go on to say the show probably won't return.
Take that for what it's worth.
Try telling that to Superman fans
I thought that was the studio's fault.
The studio didn't write a shitty script.
How do we know it was that bad?
The idea of a good script to us is different than what the studio thinks is a good script.
I read it and formed my own opinion on it. That's how I form my opinions.
I don't care what a studio thinks. Especially Warner Brothers' super hero department.
Pre-Batman Begins.
I don't know about Harley. On one end, she could bring some lightness to the plot, which I don't want. On another end, the lightness she brings could be outweighed by The Joker constantly throwing her out of moving cars, only to have her come crawling back.
Two things:
Goyer says he and Nolan think killing The Joker in Batman ('89) was a mistake, making them infinately more brilliant than Burton and Sam Hamm, et al.
I want to see Crispin Glover as The Joker.
Christian gets to rip on HHH and other top stars. Jericho's heel run began with him beating up faces 100 pounds lighter than him and relentlessly mocking them to the point that you'd feel sorry for them. That's the big difference in their pops/heat.
I understand that VHS tapes back in the 90s were incredibly expensive to produce, especially when they were primarily sold to rental outlets like specialty tapes. That's why buying directly from Coliseum Video was expensive.
They aged Bart and Lisa for an episode a few weeks ago, and it was awful. Especially since if the show moves forward more than a year, technology immediately moves ahead to near Futurama levels of wackiness.
And Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger and Zelda and the like are what?
Not trying to start anything, I just realized that most big games have their own hardcore fanbase. Zelda, Mario, et cetra have the unquestionable loyality of Nintendo fans. Most big name RPGs have fans so hardcore that they dress up like the characters. And games like GTA and Halo 2 (and most of the big X-Box/PS2 games) have the most desired demographic: 18-34 males.
Most episodes the past few years have really been lacking in quality, but I just wanted to chime in and say that the other two future episodes (one from two or three weeks ago) have been so horrible and demoralizing that I really don't see how they made it to the air.
