  1. Ha- I haven't seen him live yet. I've came close to seeing him twice- once solo and once with The New Cars. My brother saw him two or three years ago and said he played every song off of his then-new album, "Hello It's Me" and two or three other old songs. I must correct myself actually, I've came close to seeing Todd Rundgren three times! Two summers ago, he was opening up for Hall and Oates in Boston and I wanted to go. But then the show got postponed and Todd got replaced with Richard Marx. Really dodged a bullet on that one.
  2. Yeck! Yeck! The three performances I've gotten so far; Sanjaya, Lakisha and Chris. I concur that this might be the week Sanjaya eliminates someone good. But I think Chris'll probably get eliminated instead.
  3. Redbone- Come And Get Your Love
  4. There's a Crow 4? Man, I did not notice that one. And I usually try to keep track of Direct to DVD sequel releases!
  5. Vince probably would only induct her if she lost some more weight and got a bigger boob job, but he probably doesn't want her on screen otherwise. Sad, but probably true. Yeah but he put Sherri in the Hall of Fame so who knows? Though I agree with Invader that she wasn't really around long enough to warrant induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. But the WWE Hall of Fame is a crock anyways.
  6. Embarrassing story about the first time I saw The MMBop video.... I was a ten year old boy and I saw the video and I was watching MTV one afternoon and was like "Man, that lead singer is kind of cute but the taller one looks cute." Then about ten minutes later, someone informed me they were teenage boys and a ten year old KKC became sexually confused for a second.
  7. According to some "expert" on the Tyra Banks Show, 70% of the buyers of hip hop records are white men. He said something about how they all wanted to see the minstrel show.

Don't forget the epic battle betwen 'Taker and Hulk Hogan!
  9. Oran "Juice" Jones- The Rain The spoken word part of the song kills me everytime! That punch bucket shoe wearing, crumbcake!
  10. It'll always be known as the song they play on the AstroSphere at Funtown ( Ride at Maine's #1 theme park)....the song and the lasers are the only cool part of that ride though.
  11. I downloaded this song thanks to this thread since I haven't heard it in three or four years. I must say- it's far from the worst song ever recorded. For an overblown, cheesy pop record- it's quite enjoyable.
  12. And I thought my dad's love for Joss Stone was bad! According to wikipedia, besides being recorded by Waylon Jennings, Glen Campbell, The Four Tops, Sammy Davis Jr and Liza Minelli. Why there are two (There doesn't even need to be one!) country covers of "MacArthur Park" is beyond me.
  13. Timberfake and Phil Stacy better be next
  14. David Ruffin- Walk Away From Love
  15. Back in '99 or '00, I read an article online about actors singing and they mentioned the song. I downloaded it off Napster (those were the days) and...er that was it.
  16. Agreed. His stuff on record is decent and from time to time, brilliant but he really shines live. Songs for Silverman was pretty awful though.
  17. Eh- the show was O.K. Decent but not good enough to get up in arms about it's cancellation. The thing that pisses me off is this probably eliminates any chance of "Andy Richter Controls The Universe" (His first sitcom after leaving Conan and the only really good one) coming out on DVD.
  18. Yesterday; Breakfast: Wheat English Muffin with Peanut Butter, glass of lowfat milk plus a glass of water. Lunch: Hot Dog with Mustard and Onions, bowl of plain Utz potato chips, Arnold Palmer Half and Half. Dinner: Some concoction with leftover ham, mashed potatoes and onions mixed up in a frying pan plus carrots and water. Snack: Nachos and water With a lot of candy between meals.
  19. Nah, as Hawk said, Grindhouse was really made for a niche market not to be a huge box office success. Thought it'd do better than the Ice Cube family comedy sequel though.
  20. While I'm upset King Booker is injured. I think they should set up an angle out of this. Booker's gone for roughly two months. He could come back after the King of The Ring tournament and battle with the new king. King Vs King ala Haku Vs Harley Race.
  21. I must be the last guy to find out that Stringer Bell (Well the guy who plays Stringer Bell, Idris Elba) is British. I'm in shock right now for some reason. And I thought I was surprised when I found out McNulty was British.
  22. The Hollies- The Air That I Breathe On a weird 70s/80s soft rock kick this weekend.

I was talking about how I liked that The Sting/Hogan angle was a part of the brief, booker by committee period from September 1999 to mid-October 1999 which I actually kind of liked. More than The Summer of '99 and Russo's era anyways. As bad as Russo's first run in WCW was, it was a lot better than what Bischoff was doing and it was 10x better than Sullivan's booking reign. I still maintain that January-March of 2000 WCW was the worst wrestling I have ever watched. Worse than any of Russo's other runs in WCW, worse than '95 WWF. Just awful, awful stuff.
  24. The Chi-Lites- Have You Seen Her Does anybody remember Hammer's cover of this? Love, oh, love. Love is a feeling that the Hammer definitely needs!
  25. I loved that segment. That was one of maybe two or three worthwhile segments on the entire run of The Awful Truth. I like Michael Moore, but that show was pun intended, quite awful. Now I hate Phelps as much as the next guy but....just to freshen up the subject, some conservative pundit (forget who exactly) suggested that Phelps was an Agent Provocateur...thoughts?
