Wrong. That was an awesome game. WWE + MK + NBA Jam, how great is that? I know most of the combos by rote, the game was really, really ridiculously fun with a buddy. Biggest problem was that there weren't enough play modes and was limited to up to 2 players. In Your House had up to 4 players--may have been even 6, in fact--but that game was terrible. It screwed up just about everything Wrestlemania did right.

No. Nintendo Power guide tells all the heart piece locations, and none of them involve digging as the wolf. You're human Link for all of them. What?! After the great preorder bonus of Wind Waker, and considering how many people bought a Wii for TP, Nintendo should give those away. For shame, Nintendo. -

I don't think anyone here has beat it yet, but I believe Jeremy Parish's 55 hour estimate. I've done relatively little exploring but have seen HUGE areas that I haven't even scratched yet. I'm over 10 hours in. As for being easy--when you're doing the same ol', same ol', it's not too difficult (general dungeon exploration), but there's lots of new things the game throws at you that you need time to get down. The horseback combat, jousting, and the sumo wrestling took me some time to nail down. However, so far seems much harder than OOT, partly because the game is very skimpy on heart pieces, unlike in OOT where they were *everywhere*. -

I picked up a Lexar SD card to back up my data, in case when I update it bricks my console (small chance that it is). Problem is, that my SD card isn't recognized. It's a Lexar 1 GB, but all standard SD cards should work. Help? EDIT: The nintendo site says you have to do a software update. Bah, catch 22. I'll go router hunting. EDIT: Found a cheap belkin wireless. It's like half the size of my old linksys wired. Attempting setup now...success! Updating the Wii, and will post my Wii number in a few minutes.

The sequence where you fly the twilight bird was really cool. Just one complaint... The game could be nice and TELL me that you're supposed to fly it WITH THE MOTION CONTROLS! I died twice trying to use the control stick until I figured it out. -
okay, I could go that route, although I'd be using the default settings. I didn't realize that they had become that cheap.

Yeah, the finishing blow is automatic. -
According to a PS3 ad in the new Game Informer... "Its already thinking of ways to kill you."

Like I said, I'd only be using it for gaming and only the Wii / DS immediately. Since the current router is only about 20 feet away on the same floor, with a single thin wall, I'm not too worried about that.

Okay, what brand and where'd you get it from? Last time I looked wireless routers were like 80. You don't have to keep an open network, right? The Wii can just look for the encrypted network with the network name and password, right? I'd have to probably use the defaults, as I have no wireless cards in my computers, and I'd just keep wired ethernet for everything else.

Actually, I tried going there (the General Store, later Malo Mart), but it was locked, and one of the girls said he was still setting up. Wha? Is it because I already entered the Goron mines? That doesn't make much sense. I got it now, but that's confusing. And holy crap, TP Link is a hoss. He's able to grab Gorons, then casually toss them away and dust off his hands. Yeah, with the Iron Boots, but I'd think he'd need Gauntlets for that. -

Okay, a bit confused--do we mean the ones who absorbed the Light Tears? Because I found a Golden Ant in Kakariko village, and apparently you can collect that as some sort of subquest, while the Light Tear bugs are required it seems. -

Since I've read that later in the game you can switch forms at will, I guess you can only do that later (as the game forces you to wolf form in the early bug-catching stages). I lost my crummy original shield just before the Goron Mines boss room. I hadn't yet discovered a place to buy the traditional Hylian shield, and my money counter maxes out at 300 rupees anyway. Where can I get a replacement? EDIT: nevermind. I didn't need it against the boss and was able to buy a Hylian Shield for 200 rupees at the "Malo Mart" anyway. -

So far the bug catching has been strictly in wolf form, whereas human Link can't do anything with them because only his wolf senses can properly detect them anyway. Don't sweat it--it appears it is supposed to be that way. The wolf sections aren't nearly as fun as playing as regular Link, though. Naturally, that's because they're going to have to stack up to Okami. I just got the iron boots! -
It was a mediocre Final Fight clone. A mediocre *1-player* Final Fight clone. It's not a "good" Superman game if you could have made a better game by sprite-hacking Supes into Mike Haggar's place. Sunsoft Batman NES, Adventures of Batman and Robin SNES, and even Batman Returns SNES creams that game.

Anyone taken a jump on an Ethernet-to-USB adapter to see if that works? Most the ones I see online run about $30.

You don't have the shield bash attack from the start, right? I assume you acquire it later like the Finish skill. -
Batman actually has many good games. Superman has *none*.

Get me an Ethernet Kit so I can get it online and I will.

Naturally, I love the game. I'm not about to say that the Wii controls are an absolute *perfect* fit for Twilight Princess, but darn it, makes a lot of things simpler. Since you can assign your different gadgets to the d-pad on the wiimote, and also keep one mapped to B at all times, so far I haven't had to go to the submenu very often at all. Plus it helps that the sword functions free up a button to use whatever gadget you have equipped. So far went through the Forest Temple. It definitely was surprisingly long for a beginning dungeon. -
Zelda is terrific and so far I've had no BC issues. However, I was thrown off that the far right port (nearest the power switch) is the 1st Gamecube controller port, not the far left one. At first I thought neither my wavebird or standard GC controller were working. Nope, both work fine in the proper ports.

I set out at 3:30 AM to wait for the Wii. Wal-mart had over a hundred people waiting outside for their 5 AM opening. Sure, not everyone was there for the Wii, but I passed. Target was letting employees in, but said they had no Wiis. I went to the mall--a small line for forming, so I took my place. It was rather cold, but I had a thick winter coat, a scarf, a hat, gloves, and a warm Thermos of coffee. At 4:30 the mall opened its doors. No stores were opening until 5 AM, but I discovered that (contrary to the ad), EB Games was opening at 6 AM. Myself and 3 others got in line outside EB; there were 2 mothers and 1 20-year-old Zelda fan ahead of me. When the employees starting going in at quarter after 5, they told us (there was a long line at this point) there were only 4 Wiis. I was the 4th person in line!!! At 5 minutes till 6, they handed out cards to the lucky first 4. I purchased my Wii just after 6, headed home, and here I am.
