Aren't writers as a whole generally nerds? NO! Bitch.

Sounds like a Constanza rant from a certain Shrinkage episode. Certainly does, although truth be told, I didn't even realize that until you pointed it out.

Didn't Kline already sign with another team earlier this week?

I know they anchored down Nomar and Walker, but are the Cubs going to do anything else or are they going to continue this mess with Sosa, which is either going to end up with him staying another year or shipping him off to another team for garbage and taking a huge bite out of his salary?

OK, so I just saw the Mega Powers break up match

Hogan should've been the heel in the majority of his feuds during the '80s and early '90s. -
There's a certain look a repulsion in the father's face. He must be thinking about his underachieving seed.

Looks like a certain someone didn't have a problem with a certain folder until that certain someone couldn't move a certain lot of videos. Great, I said "certain" too many times and now it's lost its meaning.

The intro the video got is hilarious when you consider the matches included. The MOTY is obviously good and Skinner/Bret isn't bad, but Shawn was seriously dogging it all of 1993 when he wasn't in the ring with Jannetty.

The wife is hot, but is disgustingly skinny now. I saw a recent picture of her, and she doesn't weigh more than 100 pounds. She claims to only eat cabbage soup and be extremely hungry. Yeesh.

Yeah, that's not at all hypocritical or anything. Jackass. I think in this day and age, if someone commits murder, they should be prepared to face death if they're found guilty. I don't support that, but it's still true. I agree that the death penalty should only be brought out for serial killers who have proven that they're likely to kill again. As big a piece of shit as Peterson is, I can't envision him being one of these people. But the death penalty for murder just seems so hypocritical. We were always taught that two wrongs don't make a right, but obviously in this country, that's not true at all. I just don't see the logic in killing someone as a punishment for killing someone. That'd be like legally being able to go burn down a convicted arson's house. I understand that we're dealing with life and death, and thus, views are to be fiercly opposing in some cases. But for the most part, I'm of the mindset that death is too easy of a way out. This case has proven that emotionally, Peterson is a terrible human being. Being sentenced to death isn't likely to change his demeanor. Being sentenced to life without possibility of parole probably wouldn't, either, but I think I'd rather be dead than being a pretty boy spending the rest of my life making 13 cents an hour and spooning with Tyrone every night after lockdown.

Yeah...but...it's Jose Hernandez.

Two days. One if you actually call her the day after.

*waits for Dama's incomprehensible response about how he's a real Sox fan*

It's crap now, but I used to watch it in syndication. Ray gets annoying, his wife is too bitchy, but the parents are money. I also like how the kids didn't use to play a focal role in the series.

Just announced that Peterson gets death as his parting prize. What a crock of shit. I understand that he did a terrible thing, but tell me how two wrongs makes a right here? Why let him off the hook with death instead of letting him be someone's girlfriend in prison for the rest of his life? I'm disgusted.

Super-Size Me got me off of fast food for about a week after I first saw it. Old habits die hard and such. Still, I can't help but have that documentary in the back of my mind every time I bite into a greasy cheeseburger.

So does proper English.

Looks like a deal between the Angels and Clement might be announced tonight.

The D-Backs look even dumber than they did before for trading away half their team for a guy who gave them approx. 20 games and then signed elsewhere.

Do not deny the greatness of Christmas Vacation.
Bruiser Chong replied to The Mandarin's topic in Television & Film
I remember getting Jingle All the Way on video a couple years ago for our family gift exchange on Christmas Eve. I had never seen it, nor did I have any desire to do so, which left me puzzled as to why I got it as a gift. I just assumed it was another addition to the terrible gifts I had grown accustomed to getting in the exchange each year. Only later did I find out why I got it. My mom usually does the shopping for a good chunk of the people and they just pay her later. She's notorious for mixing my brother and me up (i.e. accidently calling us the other one's name), so of course, she got me the video even though it was actually my brother who asked for it for Christmas. Bastard. -
The OAO Jakks Classic Superstars Thread
Bruiser Chong replied to The Mandarin's topic in Video Games
I've been putting off getting any of these since the first couple of series didn't do much for me, but Bobby Heenan? Harley Race? Bundy? Gang? My god, I'm so there. I've yet to see any of the Classic Superstars in stores (albeit, I've not looked to hard), so I must ask how much they retail for? Where's the best place to get them, too? -
Didn't vote, but probably would've gone with Inc. or AoA since they're usually pretty on in their posts. And while I don't have any beef with Banky, I had to laugh at the legendary poster label. I guess that's what happens when you spend the better part of two years continuously putting yourself over on an almost daily basis.

Culver's is too expensive for what you get. The food's good, but the prices keep me from going there too often. They have like 40 teens working there at any given time, too. It's ridiculous, especially since it doesn't do great business. From the list, I'd go with Burger King, but that may just be because I rarely get to eat there since it's always Wendy's or McDonald's with my friends or family. Despite living in a fairly big city, the pickings are real slim here in the way of fast food, which is why I'm looking into just *gasp* cooking at home more since I'm absolutely sick of most of the options here.

SOSA FOR CLOSER!

Hehe. Those jackasses. We'll see how well a 40-year-old Moises makes the transition going from the Friendl Confines to Shea. He'll still produce, but this deal is pretty nutty. He had 39 homers, but with that, you've got to remember that he had more homers at home than anyone else in the majors last season. IIRC, he was pretty terrible on the road.
