How fucking hard is it for the folks who run the company to understand their audience ? You have two hours. You have an audience trained to ignore your lack of star power in favour of high quality wrestling. One good fifteen minute match over two hours is not the road to success.

The refusal of those who run the company to acknowledge that the top of the card had become stagnent - they broke me about half way through the year and I'd be lying if I said I missed watching the product.

The only logic I can ascribe to it, and it's terribly flawed I know, is that he's failed totally to illicit any interest as a heel so they're going to try him as a face to see if they can get at least two people to give a shit about him. That or Vince popped a fucking boner over the idea of A-Train vs Morgan and A-Train vs Big Show. Edited to add : If A-Train went back to his old look of pants and a black T, I'd have a little more time for him, the hairy-back gimmick is fucking appalling.

I don't understand, they signed him to a one match deal and let him make their only half decent prospect for the future look like a skrawny little shite, why wouldn't they sign him to a long term contract ?

Bryan's the only guy, outside of Dames, to write anything worth two shits about NWATNA.

But part of the reason behind the match was to show that he was still the showstopper - it played to the story that he was his same old self after all those years.
