YO! TSM raps: John Cena in 2009
Spaceman Spiff replied to Ed Wood Caulfield's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm not saying Rock wasn't great on the mic, but he had his share of really lame bits ("strudel", "pancakes", "who in the blue hell" are just 3 off the top of my head). People popped for them, sure, but let's not pretend these were any better than some of the stuff they make Cena say. -

I wasn't feeling this last episode. I liked the Q*Bert bit, though. -
Wow, Tammy & Victor must have picked up Super Cabbie, as the dude was on point getting them around. Pretty funny seeing the group of teams wandering around that tree looking for a cluebox, as if the telephone that was in plain sight was a natural thing to have at the tree, and not at all part of the Race. Cara & Jaime need to chill out when in cabs. They tend to get really ugly when talking/shouting at the cabbies. Contrast that w/ Mel's attitude in this episode, that it's not worth getting pissy w/ the cabbie, and that he'd feel bad all day for doing it. And speaking of Cara/Jaime, wasn't it 1 of them getting all teary at the condition the animals were living in? Um, do you see the people living in those same conditions? Maybe you want to feel sad for them instead?

Look who posted it. Are you surprised? -
Look out for a skinny dude hitting on fat chicks.
-
Does this mean Jim will be acting manager for the Scranton branch? That's not going to go well for anyone.
-
Stephen Colbert & Michael Steele rap battle. Stick w/ it to the end for Michael Steele's rap.

Yeah, it was real, Jim just made it sound fake when he mentioned it to Charles.
-
That episode was allllllllllllllllllll kinds of awkward, so yeah, good stuff. Jim, Jim, Jim ::shakes head:: "So, you want to keep your made-up position?" Oof.

Furthermore, in regards to Sawyer's speech, Jack kinda got a raw deal with being thrust into the leadership role. Everyone else pretty much made him the leader, whether he wanted it or not. And it's not like Jack had the luxury of saying "hey, chill fellow plane crash victims while I ruminate out a course of action." People wanted decisions now. Jack, while I agree wasn't a great leader, did his best to hold the group together in a traumatic time. He only had 3-4 months of on the job training, while Sawyer has had 3 years to refine his leadership style in a pretty stable life style. Sawyer has the luxury of taking his time, while Jack's "reign" was constantly being influenced by attacks, surprises, and various other instances that required immediate attention. Sawyer's speech sounded good last night, but now that I've had time to think about it, it kinda falls apart at the seams.
-
I'm trying to think of who died as a direct result of a decision(s) made by Jack. Meanwhile, Sawyer lead a group to the barracks, which got attacked by Keamy's team, as well as being in charge when the left-behinds got flaming-arrowed earlier this season, so I'm not sure that part of Sawyer's verbal smackdown holds that much water. EDIT: Sawyer did not lead the group to the barracks, that was Locke.

Animal Crossing is very relaxing, once you get past the need to make money in the game.
-
ROLL LOL.
-
Does ECW get replayed at all? I want to see Bourne/Noble.
-
I'd recommend Animal Crossing, but it's a game you need to play everyday to get the most out of it. In the beginning you'll likely need to play more than you would once you're further along. I play for 1/2 hour almost every day. If that's not your bag, then you'd best skip. If you do get it, let me know, and we can be Animal Crossing friends ( ).

The Agent of Oblivion question of the day

Checking science at the door, then yes, it'd be unbelievably cool. Hell, I like looking up at our 1 moon. I'm a big nerd for astronomy stuff. -
The Agent of Oblivion question of the day
Spaceman Spiff replied to Agent of Oblivion's topic in No Holds Barred
Hells yeah. What size moons are we talking? Because, as I understand it, the current Moon's size & distance from Earth is integral to allowing life to thrive here. Having 5 moons would necessitate they be much smaller than the current one. How would that impact tides, volcano activity, etc.? Definitely would be cool to see, but would human life be around to see it? -
Oh, man, when Shepherd Smith is scoring points off you, it's time to call it quits.

FOX Sunday Night 08/09 - now in HD!
Spaceman Spiff replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Television & Film
I made the O'Reilly connection based off Brockman's "we'll do it NOW!", figuring it was a riff on O'Reilly's "do it LIVE!" I forgot to mention, but the Rube Goldberg-ian church organ stuff was another bit of great animation. Lisa's impatience when it kept going & going was a good reaction. Also, Mr. Burns' eye is the eye on the dollar! And the pyramid is his, too. -

Anybody watch last night's episode? Some pretty good stuff: -"Tex Avery Syndrome" -the camera pulling back from the Earth and around the Moon was just a gorgeous piece of animation -happy to say I got 2 of the 3 riddles (I wasn't going to try the anagram) -I'm guessing the Kent Brockman bit was inspired by Bill O'Reilly -"Ah! Catholics!" -the Phillie Phanatic! -how often do we get Skinner/Comic Book Guy/Mr. Burns sharing a storyline? -"Staged" Revolutionary War, with Franklin cutting up the snake from his "Join, or Die" political cartoon -Santa's Little Helper swimming alongside the boat, only to have Homer tell him "didn't you listen to the plan?", and turning around to swim back -
Def the better of the Lakisha/Jennifer duo did the Roadblock. I would have preferred the other redhead, though, but Cara was still might fine.

Team Stunt Kids get lost at least once an episode. Even at the Pit Stop, where all they had to do was turn to their left when they got in the room, and even with Phil making noises to get their attention, they still resorted to wandering aimlessly. Good stuff with the girls running in their underwear, though.
