Actually, they're losing their 5th round pick and as you stated swapping 3rd rounders with Chicago.
This is just ridiculous and embarrassing.
Leave it up to the 49ers front office to be caught doing something this stupid.
As a 49ers fan, I can relate to these.
Bad coaching choices (Dennis Erickson, anybody?)
Bad front office choices (Terry Donahue)
Bad draft choices (Kwame Harris, JJ Stokes, Reggie McGrew. All three were first rounders at some point and turned out to be horrible)
Not to mention the salary cap hell of the last few years too.
News and Notes
Jan 25 Miles reportedly practiced with the Portland Trail Blazers Monday, Jan. 23 and is targeting a Feb. 21 return from his right knee injury. Miles had surgery on his right knee Dec. 16, initially placing his season's status in question.
Advice: The Blazers' forward has been out since sustaining cartilage damage in his right knee on Dec. 2, 2005. He averaged 18.2 points and 5.6 rebounds in 15 games this season. Miles finished with 10 points, four rebounds and three assists in his last game - a 98-78 loss to the Indiana Pacers.
