Sorry...no chance. I didn't get to watch the show on tape at all and I don't have the time or internet access to put it up any time soon. If anything, I'll probably review the DVD months from now. Dames

Sorry Loss...but this just isn't true. The new "owner" of ROH, Doug Whateverthefuck (I can't recall his last name at the moment) is Rob Feinstein's roommate. With the big scandal going on and considering RF made his LIVING off of RF Video and ROH, how do you think he's going to pay his rent? Borrow money from his roommate? While he might not be at the shows...bottom line is, the owner's coming home with all that cash...and you think RF isn't seeing a penny of it? Dames

First off, no, I'm not back. I was let out of work early and while I'm waiting for my ride to come and pick me up at 5pm, I decided to get on here and let you guys know how I've been myself. The past couple of weeks have been good, with everything culminating this weekend as I got to go to Wrestlemania XX - something I had been waiting for with baited breath ever since I missed Mania X 10 years ago. What Bob said was indeed true. When Chris Benoit won that match (100% clean in the middle of the ring), I was overcome with joy and tears did stream down my cheeks. What was absolutely amazing to me wasn't exactly the event itself, which I enjoyed immensely, but my seat! I was in Section 14, Row A, Seat 1...and I had no clue just how close that was. I was on the floor...but instead of paying 750, I bought a $250 ticket. It turns out that everything near the ring on the floor was 750 (and you could keep the chair) EXCEPT for a very small patch of seats by the entrance way. Get this guys: The difference between my seat and a $750 seat was 6 inches to the left. I had practically the exact same vantage point! I was OVERWHELMED by the view. However, there was one drawback. I, unfortunately, went alone since I wasn't able to get any other tickets for my friends. Oh well. I had the time of my life. I HAVE been speaking to Zack Malibu on the phone lately and all of the news he's sent for me has been legit, btw. For those curious as to why I only gave my cell phone number to him...here's why. 1. He's my friend. Deal with it. 2. I just got the cell phone and if I had made it public...my minutes would be done by now. I haven't even gotten my first bill yet. I'm trying to keep the usage DOWN. Anyway, I should be getting my own place within the next 3 weeks and from there, the net. See you guys soon. Dames

A big ass duffle bag. I actually need to buy myself some new corporate clothing... Here's a shocker for you. Based on Zack Malibu's advice, I actually got a caesar haircut and its been pretty well received, with one or two exceptions. I'll post a pic when I get the chance. Dames

SURPRISE!!! I didn't think that I'd have any access to the internet and while I really don't, i'm at a friends house who's letting me stay on for a few minutes. So far, the job is going very well. I'm enjoying the training sessions and I've met some cool people. The living situation is still kinda odd since i'm essentially living out of a bag, but hopefully that won't last too long. I did get to see the tail end of No Way Out and like Zack said, I thought the match was excellent. Initial impressions from me say ****3/4, but I need to see it again. Glad to see Eddie get a huge pop and even Goldberg's pop was probably the biggest I've seen since the Attitude era. Yeah, I know I didn't call a couple of people. My bad. EQ, we've spoken a couple of times. Miss Indy Queen, you know the deal. I just wanted you to miss me, like I said. Banky, leave her alone. And yes, I have spies. Hopefully, I'll be popping in once in a while, but it looks like I'll be without the net for the next 6 weeks or so. I miss you all. Dames

Fat chance. I don't go to ROH shows, but that's a long story. It has nothing to do with the product itself. Dames Didn't you go to the first few shows? Just the first one. Dames

Well, the moment of truth has arrived. It's 2:15am right now and my friend will be here with his car in the morning. To tell you the truth, I haven't even begun packing. Most likely, I'm going to be staying up tonight. The last thing I'll pack up is the good old computer. It hasn't hit me just how drastic of a move this is for me. I've lived in New York state all of my life, with 21 of the those years in the Bronx. This is going to be the first time that I'm responsible for myself, taking care of the bills, paying rent, etc. The one that really confirms change to me is driving. All of the things that I'll be responsible for, I've paid in small doses over the years. A credit card bill here, a magazine subscription here. Hell, I even got my very first cell phone yesterday. But now, every responsibility is cranked to 10 and to boot...the transportation system is about 2% of NYC's. I've wanted to get my license since I was 15 years old, but unfortunately, I never took the chance to learn. Sure, I had opportunities. My DVD collection is tremendous, but I'm sure if I put off purchasing 30 or so of them, I would have had my license by now. Anyway, before I continue rambling, I'd just like to say thanks. Thanks for taking what can be an impossible job and make me happy to do it 95% of it. All I ask is that you guys hold down the fort while I'm gone. The final word on TSM while I am gone will be Dr. Tom. Hopefully, there isn't anything to clean up when I get back. I won't have internet capabilities for a month or so, or at least until I have my own place. The people who I'm staying with in the interim don't have a land line, only cell phones so can't get online. Once I do, I'll finally have high speed internet of some sort. So, I'm off basically. Off to hopefully achieve what I desire most in this world. Money, Power and Respect. Wish me luck. Dames

Brock Lesnar as Eddie Brock works...but Lesnar's acting skills are far from perfect. Dames -

....Sorry then. That was a misread on my part. I thought he meant that Brock was getting a cut of the DVD sales for Mania 19 since he main evented it. Dames -

No way. Hollywood Actors have to have DVD sales in their contracts in order to get residuals from them. I can understand if its a DVD ABOUT them, ala the Flair DVD or the Foley DVD, but not PPV events. I've never heard of any wrestlers getting residuals off of home video releases. If that was the case, we would have heard something when VHS was still the rage. That being said, he probably got a chunk of change off of the Brock Lesnar DVD. Dames -

He might have gotten the best payday at Mania, but I doubt any of the wrestlers get residuals for DVD sales. Dames -

I doubt he moves that much merchandise. I don't see everyone running out to get their "Off the Hook PAIN" T-Shirts. Dames -
When you watch the extras, let me know if Flair's return is unedited and includes the "ABUSE OF POWER" rant at Bischoff. Dames

Lesnar Frustrated; Nowinski Getting Heat
The Dames replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
He can powerbomb The Big Show and can wrestle on the mat. That should be enough to have him over anywhere, especially in Japan. Dames -
Not yet. It'll be a while, but by that time, no one will care. Dames

Lesnar Frustrated; Nowinski Getting Heat
The Dames replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Well, NOAH was offering him $250,000 for a match at their Tokyo Dome show, but the WWE doesn't want him or Angle doing it.....interesting. I believe they were offered shoot fights, but I might be wrong. In that case, I can definitely understand. Angle shouldn't try doing anything strong style and Lesnar's neck isn't exactly stable either after the Shooting Star Press from Mania. Dames -
Britney Spears As The Next Bond Girl?
The Dames replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
The man has a point. I don't put it past them to have Britney as a Bond Girl. She's one of the most famous faces in the world right now. It would definitely bring in the teen and female audience. Dames -

I've got a question. What COULD Brock do elsewhere that would feasibly get him about the same amount of money as he's earning now? I can't think of anything. Dames -
If they had played this up last year, Orton could have actually gotten heat with the war in Iraq. Dames

Sorry Kotz, I leave Sunday morning. Yes, I'm curious as to how this shit ends as well through morbid curiousity. Dames

If he doesn't finish this story by Saturday night, this thread will be closed, never to be opened again. Dames

So What Did You Think Of The Contract Singing?
The Dames replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
You're right. I was thinking about that this morning. Benoit was drafted to Smackdown, returned to Raw with some weird loophole that allowed him to beat up Austin, but after Austin left, he jumped to Smackdown, only to jump again now. Dames -

...Also, while this really would make Benoit stupid, I'm just curious. Why can't he just go back to Smackdown and screw over Cena, Show and Angle then? Dames -
...This story only broke on WWE TV on Confidential about 2 years ago. Dames
