For some reason, either through bad planning or complete lack of interest, I haven't watched Smackdown in a month. I always make sure that I watch Raw though. I have no idea why, but for months after the Brand Split, I thought SD was the better show and voiced my opinion about it openly. But since the new roster shake up after XX, I've been much more interested in Raw. ...Now that I read this week's spoilers though, I'll check out SD. Dames

Card: Wrestlemania X Match: Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart THE reason why I made DAMN sure that I went to Wrestlemania XX (best seats EVER btw). Dames P.S. Rock/Hogan was a blast to be at, even though the crowd was pro-Hogan.

I finally got my drivers license!!!! I wanted to learn how to drive for YEARS, but I never had the money for lessons and no one I knew was willing to teach me. They don't teach drivers ed in the Bronx, at least not at my high school, and you have to be 18 to get your license in the city. From there, buses and trains take you everywhere you really need to go. One of the main reasons why I moved to CT was to force myself to do this and I've been here for 7 months now after leaving my mom, my family, my and my home behind for uncertain waters. I got my own place after 3 months, but for some damn reason, there's no driving schools in Bristol and I couldn't find one that was willing to pick me up at my place for about 2 months. Finally, I found a place, but then I needed to get the money for it. Unexpected bills happen when you live alone, you know. Anyway, I signed up with a school and along with a school, some friends of mine helped me learn and get comfortable behind the wheel by teaching me in a old Bronco with no ABS or power steering. And the actual lessons were with a 2004 Nissan with power everything. Throw in a couple unexpected highway lessons from some of my other friends and I was able to get my drivers license in 15 days of learning! That's crazy, ain't it?? Not only that, but I've already got a car! It's a 1990 Chrysler LeBaron and I'm going to register it, insure it, in my name and be riding around by the weekend! I just wanted to let you guys know. Conspiracy Theory: Jericho was given the IC Title because then he wouldn't be eligible to face the champ at Taboo Tuesday...and that champ is pretty sure that Jericho is the most popular, hence - 7 Time IC Champ. Dames

I think I would nut if one day, (it would have been perfect after the "It All Begins Again" promotion for Wrestlemania XX) Vince cut a pre-recorded promo stating that the business has been evolving and he's been listening to the fan base and while they love sports entertainment, a majority of them are also sports fans that want standings and statistics. So, starting on tonight's edition of Monday Night Raw, ESPN and the WWE have began a partnership and they're going to lend us two broadcast colleages. Something like that...and those guys would then get a 15 minute segment each show talking about accomplishments, stuff like that, showing pre recorded promos like the old days. Stuff like that would be able to set up #1 contenders, put logical matchmaking, etc. What do you think? Dames

I wish they would fucking treat it like a sport sometimes. Like show a graphic with the top 5 wrestlers who have held the IC Title, show stats like "# of total days as champion", # of title defenses, # of pay per view matches", etc. Even if they wanted to do silly storylines, they still can, just take some time out to give the average fan a reason to cheer on someone by giving them something they can relate to instantly. I love the fact that he's playing up the 7 time Champion thing. While I can understand while Jericho being back in the midcard may upset most of you, personally, it reminds me of the days where the IC Title was the "wrestling" title and usually got you ready for the next level. After Orton's 7 month reign and now with upper midcarders like Jericho, Edge and rising stars like Christian make the belt seem more important again. If they play up on it...it would work. Dames

They were VERY smart to put Bret Hart in the Day of Reckoning commercial. Dames

Yeah...Giles and Angel didn't interact too much after he killed Jenny in S2. And I've only seen the Beast's demise...but I've never seen Apocalypse Nowish or Spin The Bottle...aka the beginning of Season 4. Dames

I lent it a friend of mine who never saw Buffy or Angel and didn't want to give it back. He finally did and I let him borrow Buffy Season 1 since I told him that eventually WAY down the road, Mal & Zoe end up on Buffy and Angel... I realized how badly I fucked up once I was lost about the whole Connor thing... I didn't realize until I watched Season 3 that the prophecy that the Father Will Kill The Son...was FALSE. Since I never saw it, I thought that was actually fulfilled in Home when Angel apparently slashed Connor's throat. Man, I was marking out. Season 5 (Origin in particular) makes SO much more sense now. Dames Dames

I agree with you Zsasz. Great match which is marred by the finish. Unfortunately, despite being the main event on WWE's #2 show of the year, the build up, story and payoff for Angle/Austin was VERY weak which hurt the match's heat a bit, I'd say. Dames

Rebuttal: I don't deny that HHH loves professional wrestling, but if truly loved the business, he wouldn't have put himself in the top spot at the expense of others, which have caused a decrease in revenue, ratings, profits and overall morale for the business he "loves". Dames

My guess is to part of the reason why this thread hasn't been closed yet is partially because I still haven't seen everything yet. I bought Firefly, loved it. Have all the Buffy's, know it as much as you guys do. I missed the last half of Season 3 of Angel when it ran on TV and didn't get back into it until Faith came back on Angel Season 4. I got Angel Season 3 for my birthday, which I LOVED...and I FINALLY got to see everything with Holtz and Connor and Wesley...Which I NEVER SAW... And I can't wait to see the beginning of 4 now even though I know how it all turns out. Can't wait til the DVD arrives. Dames
