Well you better move DEAN's Smackdown reports when they are posted as he discusses many things about himself and the fictional world of Al Wilson amongst his wrestling content. If you're gonna make these new rules, they better apply to everyone, including the world famous Dean Rasmussen. First off Banky, don't tell me what to do. I don't have to defend my actions and you're the first to constantly poke and prod me and I don't appreciate it. Second, these aren't "new rules" or anything like that. And yes...they should apply to Dean's reports...Especially when he goes on about his Al Wilson business. LOTC, those who are making threads about HHH and all that are still making topics about WWE related discussion. They aren't writing essays, reports or anything like that, so that's why that should go in there. Dames

Nope...I don't have a router. Basically, what I did was I took my (NEW!) cable modem and connected it to the PC via USB (which it came with) and connected the Xbox to the PC via the Ethernet cord. Now you've got a connection going in and one going out. Dames

The WWE folder is supposed to be about WWE related discussion, be it personal opinions or what not. From your thread, I took it more like a running commentary of your experiences with WWE stuff tossed in, hence a column not unlike a DVDVR report. Dames

Manhunt rules. I can understand not liking first person shooters, but the two analogs used for movement isn't just an Xbox thing anymore. Dames

Negative...Impact is to get people to order the PPV's. What I think TNA's best course of action for right now would be to keep Impact the way it is, hype up their PPV's and demonstrate to Fox Sports that it's worth keeping them on. THEN, convince Fox Sports to air the 2 hour Wednesday show on Fox Sports and air a monthly PPV at 20 bucks or so. Dames

If you have a broadbast connection, all you need is your computer and you can multiplayer across the net without Xbox Live....if you're interested. Warning: The online community will DESTROY your ass. I own a closets worth of asses after having mine continuously re-handed to me. Dames

How can you have an Xbox without Halo?? And sadly, as much of a Buffy/Angel fan as I am, I can't recommend Chaos Bleeds. That game wears out its welcome the moment you beat it. As for the first Buffy game for Xbox, I can't comment as I've never played it. Dames

Indeed. Dames

I think its a better idea to keep the six sided ring Impact exclusive. You hook them that way, set up a match for Wednesday and because it's taking place in the traditional 4 sided ring, it makes it seem just a tad more important... I like that. Dames

When I first saw the SAT's back in some indy shows in Queens, I thought they were spectacular. It took a couple of viewings to realize that they just spot monkeys most of the time and sloppy ones to boot. When they're on, they're on...when they're not, you can't risk putting that on television. Dames

I would get it just for the Super X Tourney, which I enjoyed very much. I still remember my initial reactions to Teddy Hart's debut. As for Ultimate X, I didn't care for the first one, never saw the second, so it's just a bonus to me. Dames

Personally, the more you bitch and complain about it, the less I'm inclined to do anything about it but since Curry is being reasonable about this, I'll give you a brief explanation and that will be that. I got on the board, saw the thread, read about 1/4 of it and immediately thought to myself "this is more like a column. This doesn't belong here". Moved. End of story. Not happy about it being in Fantasy Booking? Make it your own personal playground for all I care. If people really want to read it, they'll go to it. Advertise it, put it in your sig, whatever. As far as I was concerned, I saw something that I felt didn't belong there and I moved it. Anything I don't think belongs where it is...gets moved. The rest of the mods are allowed to do the same. Whether or not they choose to is up to them. Dames

The evidence has been presented. The Verdict: She can get it. Dames

I also go with Teri's death in Season 1. That's when you just KNEW that nothing was sacred in the world of 24 and to expect the big swerve like that. Dames

You guys on a fucking roll today. Dames

Wow...even I needed a primer. Thanks! Dames

Not to try and steer this topic in another direction, but I wish WWE would have some sort of official number 1 contender system which they STUCK to in order to decide who the champion faced. That way, you can build up fueds over time because the challenger has to earn his way at the champion to settle it, resulting in highly anticipated matches, in theory. Or, two guys that hate each other so much, they don't care if the title isn't on the line, which could really put over the challengers. Also, it allows the champion to defend the title successfully and have good matches with both heels and faces (setting up other potential "you cost me the title shot" feuds) and build up himself as well as the contenders. I don't know any champion that would be better for this right now than Chris Benoit. Dames

Absolutely amazing. I'm feeling a bit chatty tonight so I'll expand on that. For those of you who don't know, I'm a Licensed Insurance Consultant for The Hartford Insurance Company in Southington, CT. I've got a job where I had a lot of friends working there. Friends who I've known for a long time who have higher positions and pull in the company and have been spreading my name like the plague to upper management so I've got HUGE expectations put on me. So far, I've exceeded those expectations and met some really cool people that I can honestly say have been more than generous with me, considering that for the first couple of months here, I had nothing. I was sleeping on a friends couch and I didn't have much with me except for a bag of clothes, some DVD's and the bare essentials. One of my newest friends furnished my apartment, literally. The first 3 weeks of me living here, all I had was a lawn chair, the computer, my clothes and my electronics from home. That's it! I mean nothing...not even FOOD. I ordered out every night...and I'm not taking any pics until I lose the weight I've gained, I'll tell you that much. Anyway, it was pretty much common knowledge at my job that I was sleeping on the floor on a sleeping bag, so one of my friends told me that he'd give me a sofabed. He has a pick up, so it won't be a problem bringing it in or anything...He tells me before my shift is over that he'll meet me in the parking lot when I get out at 6:30. It's 6:30 and I head outside and he's not there. So I give him a call on the cell and he says that he'll be there in 10 minutes and that he's got some surprises for me. He pulls up and pretty much gives me all of his old shit. He ended up giving me a leather chair, a sofabed, a full sized BED, a rocking chair, a swivel chair, 2 end tables and a coffee table. Holy Shit! All of a sudden I have a fucking HOME. Sure, some of the furniture is fugly but what am I supposed to say? No, I don't want all the shit you lugged in your pick up truck cuz I want to be a picky asshole? Anyway...he then decided that he'd take me to Walmart and I spent 500 bucks this weekend - 350 at Walmart and 150 at the supermarket. So now I've got food, a computer desk, a leather computer chair (which I'm sitting in) and a ton of household shit and the place looks great. The best part is that my mom is coming up this weekend to see the place for the first time since I moved out and she's got no clue how phat this place is starting to look. ....and I'm done for now. Off topic but... Speaking of DVDs, what about the Part 3 review of the Ric Flair DVD set? No rush, just a reminder. Take your time on it. The Answer To Your Question That's for you and everyone else who's curious, ChrisMWaters. Dames

Off topic but... Speaking of DVDs, what about the Part 3 review of the Ric Flair DVD set? No rush, just a reminder. Take your time on it. I was just asked this by ChrisMWaters in the WWE folder and I figured that I should give everyone an answer and in doing so, explain what has been going on with me lately. I've been in Bristol, CT since about February without any internet access except for a couple of hours a month. Now, I've finally gotten my own apartment, furnished it and have cable, internet, etc. The crazy thing is that while I've had the net and my apt for a month or so...I haven't really been able to give TSM enough attention. I didn't have a place to put the computer because I didn't have much for a while. The computer was on the floor and trying to type for more than 5 minutes became a severe pain for my back. So, I've lurked mostly...but rest assured, I'm back now! There are still a couple of things that I want to do before I start the Diatribes, such as hook my bedroom up and things like that, so I don't know if I'm willing to order the PPV's just yet. I'm getting pretty trigger itchy to write again, so I have a feeling that you can definitely expect the Diatribes sooner than later though. As for the Flair DVD, all this time I haven't really been able to start the review so it's still at the very least 2 weeks away. But, since I did start something, I do plan on finishing it, as well as a couple more DVD reviews in the future. Dames

I would just like to say as one of the first things I do now that I am back 100%.... Thanks to this thread, which I had just began to read about 5 minutes ago, I am now the owner of this DVD. Thanks, TSM. Dames

Indeed. Calling for someone's banning isn't going to make it come any faster, so this thread is pretty pointless. Also, for the record...I, nor any other member of the TSM Moderating Staff, is afraid to ban Anglesault or any of the so-called "established" posters here. It doesn't matter who it is. If they deserved to be banned, they will be. If not, then they won't. Dames

Hello everyone... First off, it's nice to be back. I really did miss you guys. Secondly, now that registrations are open once again, myself and the moderating staff feel that the rules should be toned down, mostly so that you don't feel like you're signing a contract to post here. From now on, the rules are going to be pretty simple. 1. No trolling. 2. No spamming. 3. No calling other posters racial slurs. 4. No nudie pics shown without a link (along with pictures of spiders). 5. Conduct yourselves like sane human beings possessed of some maturity. 6. Don't disobey the mods. This does not mean you cannot disagree with them and voice your opinion, but you must still adhere to the decisions they make. 7. Mods have full discretion to warn or ban posters they feel are out of line and acting like twits. 8. No personal information of other posters or webmasters of this or any other board (such as addresses and phone numbers), or their family members, should be posted on the board, unless posted by the persons themselves. Anyone who does this and/or uses it to harrass the person in question shall be banned from the board. There you go. Hopefully that will lead to less drama and put the focus back on having some discussion here at TSM. Dames

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
The Dames replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
Personally, I think Lindsay was right...he deserved better than to be killed by Lorne. But I did like how Lorne was so emotionally drained that he was willing to do this last thing for Angel...and quit. When Lorne said after that night was over, he was out...I was thinking he was just a quitter, but then I got it. Dames
