I thought most of the first part until HBK started on the comeback was slow and boring. Then the only cool part was HBK's comeback offense and spots. But then HBK started no selling the back big time after they spent so much time building on his back injury. That killed it for me.

Even then HHH/HBK was overrated in my opinion.

Sadly we'll probably miss a perfect celebration moment when he loses the title because by that point we'll have no faith in WWE to actually keep it off him. That's what this long reign is doing. It's killing our faith in WWE to actually do the right thing and if it ever happens it will be "boy who cried wolf" syndrome. No one will believe it when it really happens.

It will be a big moment in that everyone will say finally and let out a groan. But by then do you think anyone will care? See you might have a point if this reign had been exciting and kept everyone intrested, but it hasn't. An interesting and gripping title reign coming to a long last end would be a big moment. This one will just be more of a long last sigh of relief.

Well I guess WWE's answer to not having someone credible enough to win the title is to just say "fuck it" and let HHH stay champ until they get off their butts and push someone in a way that will make them look credible? So basically instead of fixing the problem they just let it fester?

I don't assume anything. He hasn't done any better than the people he claims aren't "main event material" so why does he get to be god over them? And this thread was "The Clique's" one year title reign last time I looked so it's accurate.

Umm but wouldn't getting a TV deal mean better money and improved production values? You're assuming that the production values would reamin the same. I honestly doubt most casual fans still watch WWE because it "looks nice"

I honestly don't understand it. WWE finally finds something good to go with in Kane. They finally make steps to fix the plot holes they made in his story. The reinvent him in ways that work. But then they make him Shane's bitch. Now I could understand if they wanted him to come back from adversity to beat Shane and show that he's an unstoppable monster, but there are other ways they could have done that besides having him cheat death! I can just hear the collective groans and "bullshit" chants from the crowd now when Kane walks out after what happened. Waters: If they put the mask back on now it would probably mess up everything they've done so far with Kane that has worked.

I wish someone would post where I wouldn't end up posting twice in a row, but if not then please excuse me for that. I'm all for storyline development as long as the storylines are leading to something new, exciting, or productive. And if those storylines make sense. I along with a lot of people said that we loved the development of the Heel Coach storyline so don't say we didn't like anything. And I may be a part of a few, but I like the S.H.I.T. stuff. The rest was either same old or pointless. And one of the storylines I was showing the most interest in (Kane) was shot to hell in one swift move.

I think the true test is what rating they make next week. I think everyone has been saying the worst part of last night was the end. And since fans are not omnipotent and don't get a little whisper in their ear to turn on Spike Tv because something good is about to happen on RAW, they turn in because of what they WANT to see not because they know what they'll see. If those same people still tune in next week then we'll know they're on to something. Otherwise it's just the Post PPV ratings rise because of things like Coach's heel turn were actually different and made people go "hmmm maybe I need to tune in" Kane has shown that he can pop a nice 4 rating so this really comes as no surprise. The true tale will be what will happen now that it ended the way it did. We should always base it more off the next week's ratings because that's what shows the "results" of what happened on this week's show. That's what shows the people's reactions because it's in these days now that the fans sit back and think, "after all I saw last night do I really wanna bother next week?"

We should still start an Angel thread though. There's different stuff to talk about and it will be less cluttered. That way we can talk about Angel instead of both and it will make for better discussions about Angel itself.
