Like I said before leaving a video wouldn't convice the stubborn. If Old Testament people wouldn't believe pillars of smoke and fire and plagues and still kept going astray then how would a video do better?

My stories aren't important enough for God to back up himself. I think something this important wouldn't be allowed to be clumsly thrown together.

What better way is there? The Bible is chocked full of stories about people who had God's work, power, and glory right in front of their freakin faces and STILL didn't believe. What would make today's society any different? He did the best idea there was. Leave a collection of his teachings in written format.

If you ever study the Book of Mormon in depth it's very flawed and even borrowed from other writings.

The people who wrote those epistles and gospels sure thought that what they were writing was from God. They didn't think it was a flawed telling of a story that was too far removed.

You don't think God would be smart enough to have a hand in writing HIS story even if it wasn't written for a few years? If he didn't have a hand in writing it then why do we bother?

Because most of the New Testament is letters written to Churches of that time. It took that long for all those letters to be written, passed around, and collected. That wasn't a big break of nothing then all of the sudden the New Testament was written. It was a gradual collecting.

Every Christian denomination has accepted traditions which weren't there originally, that's to be expected over time. The Bible even speaks of this, and whatnot about the "traditions of men". The key, is that they both ask for you to accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior, we've just added things on top of that, all denominations have to an extent. My point is that we're still together, albeit there are plenty of differences. Yes the Bible did say that people would form their own traditions. But did it speak well of that or was it a warning? Eventually if we let it dissolve further into different ways and ideas then we lose the point of it all. What's the point if many different ways are the way? A lot of different denominations have different ideas of how you are saved. If one is no better than the other then it should unravel to the point that everyone gets into Heaven.

I'm not going to say that only one group is going to heaven, but there are some that we sometimes say are grouped in with us in the big haul that are really just out in left field doing more of what "they" want and less of what "God" wants.

That's why you learn to read the original Greek......okay you don't have to do that, but it helps. With the right books and some time I can translate Greek. I had to learn it for my major in College (Youth and Family Ministry) All you really need is more than one translation and just a little time to compare and contrast and do some studying.

We don't worship/pray to Mary cause we're never told to. There's no examples of it. We're told to worship God and Jesus. I'm not trying to take personal shots at Catholics, but if you look through church history Catholicism came about through a gradual corruption of what was originally established. It's based mostly on man made ideas that were added in out of either convenience or power.

I'm not sure what you meant by the baptism comment, but I agree with all the rest you said. It's pretty straight forward in the Bible. "be baptized for the remission of your sins" and you wouldn't find a first century Christian that wasn't baptized. Doesn't mean you're good to go from then on out. It puts you in contact with Jesus' blood and from there on out you can ask for forgiveness. Catholics were the ones that trivalized baptism out of a lack of convenience.

I loved Anya's breakdown. It was perfect for her character. But I do agree that it slows down towards the end and there shouldn't have been a vampire in it.

The morons in Christian history have given us a bad name. It pisses me off. Christianity wasn't supposed to be about social control. Jesus didn't even attempt to make drastic societal changes. It was about changing it from the inside of the person themselves.

The Church (not to be confused with The Catholic Church, which is called "The Church" many times.) was created so Christians could be in a community of fellow Christians. So we wouldn't be alone in our struggles. If that's organized religion then I'm all for it in that form.

The biggest problem with the WWE is it's become too much of a joke, a mockery of itself. In Japan, Mexico, Canada they still take wrestling seriously. If the fans here in America have got to the point where they believe there is no "good wrestling" then there is no hope. The guy who wrote that was wrong. Even some "marks" know when a wrestler is flat out bad.

In a WM9 like swerve Mr. America comes in and wins the title from Big Show shortly after Big Show wins the title from Brock. Zach Gowen debuts as a Peg Leg Pirate complete with eye patch, and the return of "Frankie" as his pet Parrot. The WWE signs Oklahoma cause they need more former Cruiserweight champions. Oklahoma then beats Rey for the title. Benoit runs the Hoss gauntlet in which he jobs to every one of them.

Me, a friend of mine, and this really annoying guy who would just walk right into our apartment were playing WWF Warzone for the N64. We decided to whip the annoying guy in the game to shut his mouth cause he did nothing but talk trash. We did a Three Way Cage Match and basically double teamed him the whole match. We had him in the red and decided to finally start fighting each other for who would win the match and the idiot pulls out a fluke and wins. We never lived that down.

Worst part about Jurassic Park 3 was it felt like the writers got fed up and just stopped writing. The movie just ends out of nowhere.

problem is most teams are in feuds right now so no one is available for the tag scramble.
