What was the really bad overturn that you guys are talking about? I missed a bit of the game.
-
One out of five? It still doesn't change the fact that the Denver defense took care of those turnovers. it's not like once the ball was loose play was stopped and the ball was given to Denver. Besides, one of those turnovers was meaningless at the end of the game, the Lynch INT. If Indy doesn't win today, I don't see them ever winning a super bowl. Their first chance to get there without the Pats being in the way and they're blowing it.
-
Many think it will either be UFC 58 in Cali or the monthly show RRR was talking about. Either way those announcements, while huge, don't really scream "BIGGEST ANNOUNCEMENT EVA!@" to me.
-
Turnovers are a part of the game though. It took a Denver player to force those turnovers, not to mention pick up those fumbles and catch those INT's. NE lost because they were outplayed by a better team, is that so hard to understand?

Speaking of Tito, I was watching that Documentary Relentless:Tito vs the Lion's Den. It's interesting stuff that dates back to his debut and ends with his second fight with Mezger, it's all told from the perspective of his old manager. It's a pretty interesting look at some Behind the Scenes stuff at the time, and it's also kind of cool to see how some current UFC figures, like Buffer and Silva, were around at that time. I'll U/L if there's enough interest.

I was just trying to feed more into the myth that is Sleazy D. The whole idea of the Tito angle being a work is ridiculous. But I wouldn't put it past Dana and his awkward smile.
-
The Cameraman who was taping the event was told not to focus on Tito at all for UFC 52 apparently. It wouldn't surprise me if they wanted to avoid him in pics too, since they pretty much denied his existence. This was all a set up. Well played Dana White. VERY well played. Quadros isn't that big a tool, you're overexaggerating here.
-
But I didn't think they would take any pics of him, I mean the guy was a hated enemy. It wouldn't make sense for the UFC to have tried to publicize him if he tried to bury him in all those other ways. Unless....SWERVE~!

Which UFN had Tito in it?

Babalu is probably the most well rounded in the division, moreso than Shogun even, so if you want someone with versatility, there's your man. I think you have to realize that Couture was Chuck's worst matchup, and if Chuck could take him out, than I don't see why he wouldn't be able to do the same to other fighters. I would think that Tito would beat Shogun, though I won't rank him higher than him because he hasn't done anything. Also, I don't know if Chuck would win that fight, but since he beat Tito soundly, I wouldn't put him behind Tito. Wins/Losses are most important, but performances are as well, just not as much.

Is the name you're speaking of VITORIA?! I've watched WWF too long to think that this announcement is bullshit, but I will say that the UFC has yet to disappoint when it comes to big announcements, so I'll reserve judgement.

He thinks Aaron Riley is gonna win? Crazy.

I don't understand the correlation between the NWSC being stopped and the Libs getting rid of our healthcare.

The more Tack posts in the CE folder, the more I think he should stop.

What are your top five in each division?
Your Paragon of Virtue posted a topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Top Ten might be too deep for some to make a good list, myself included. This should make it easier for all. Heavyweight 1) Fedor 2) Noguiera 3) Arlovski 4) Hunt 5) Sergei Light Heavyweight 1) Shogun 2) Chuck Liddell 3) Randy Couture 4) Wanderlei Silva 5) BABALOOOOOOOOOO Middleweight 1) Franklin 2) Henderson (Alot of people think he'd beat Franklin, but I don't see it. Ditto for Lindland. I'm sure it's possible, but I think Henderson would get picked apart on the feet looking for the big punch kind of like what Busta almost did, and I think Lindland would get KTFO coming in for a clinch like Terrell did to him). 3) Lindland 4) Marquardt 5) Busta Welterweight 1) Hughes 2) GSP 3) Frank Trigg 4) Akira Kikuchi 5) Sean Sherk? Charuto? I don't want to put Karo here since there are a lot of obvious flaws in his game, I guess I'll go with Sherk, seeing as how he beat Karo twice. Lightweight 1) Gomi 2) Shaolin 3) Kawajiri 4) Sakurai 5) Hansen The only controversial thing I really see here is putting Shaolin at 2 in LW even though he lost to TK, but TK has had a lacklustre showing in his past few fights and Shaolin has not, so I put him there without hesitation. The same could be said for Trigg, but while Trigg's loss against Georges was bad, he did it on a blown ankle, so I forgive him for that one. BJ Penn vs. GSP will make the WW division look a lot more interesting. -

I don't know what he's trying to get at, though Matt does sound a little effeminate, especially when he yelled at WHitehead. If someone yelled at me like that, it would be hard to keep a straight face. -
Shooto: Victory of the Truth Card

You said Naoya won't be outmuscled by anyone like he was in 143, but isn't FW 143? Also that second guy sounds like he's not good at anything, bad wrestler and bad ground fighter who tends to throw strikes wildly. Sounds like a pretty 1-D fighter to me. Also, there's nothing to be ashamed of in being open to transitional submissions. It appears to me like anyone can get caught by a transitional submission. -

I'm rooting for the Hellboy. The guy has the best combination of "great fights/great fighter" in all of MMA. -
Just because I'm curious, does anyone know of a good reference site that lists things like grosses/budgets for movies, salaries for actors/directors for said movies, etc? I'm pretty sure something like this exists but I couldn't find it. If anyone knows of anything that could help me out, that would be great.

I'm really hoping for the Panthers to make it, they're definitely the most exciting team to watch in the NFC. I can easily see them beating the Bears, though they were demolished last time out. The Redskins are going to be destroyed this week, Seattle's offense won't give away the game like the Bucs did. Not to mention the Redskins are awful. Indy-NE in the AFC, and I have a sickening feeling that NE will win that matchup AGAIN.

Who is Double 'Er? Stout is not a natural Welterweight, but neither is Florian, so it should be closer than people think. With Florian's solid chin, he should be able to survive to take it to the ground. Though Fabio grappled with K-Flo and said he's shit, lol.

Thoughts on the Following Fighters

The Arona-Mezger fight wasn't close at all, and should have been a UD for Mezger. At least from memory.
