The Ultimate Fighter
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to RavishingRickRudo's topic in Television & Film
Beat me to it. I was gonna post the same thing. If this doesn't show that Randy will beat Chuck, the fact that his trainer said that they won't do anything differently from the first fight should. Bobby was only pissed because he felt that he disrespected his two dads. -
I don't know, but that's the first one that came to mind, so it would probably be the first to come to the person making such a post. I have to ask though, that link doesn't work for me. Is there another one?

You'd be surprised. I expected someone to come in and go "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT LOOK AT BRITNEY SPEARS DOMINATING THE AIRWAVES INSTEAD OF (Whatever band they like) YOURE STUPID!" in some form or another. You: "Britney > (Whatever band they like)" starting ANOTHER cycle.

Damn I completely forgot about that picture. It was mainly used during the Leben vs Koscheck thing. So are there two fighters coming back? I think many are coming back, just because they're having a big card at the end. Although, the person who opened the door might have opened the door in a previous episode. That picture is actually proof that that dude is coming. Dunno about the door opener though. -
Or after looking at your next post, he was being flippant.

Stop trying to be clever. But he's right. Perhaps, but he doesn't need to be so vague to the point where it must be asked step by step as to WHY he feels that way, especially when I doubt he should have taken B Brian as literally as he did. I'm sure he meant music industry when he said it.

Spoiler on who comes back, the proof is there. -

I thought that said homoeroticism. That thread is really no different from all of the other circlejerk threads that infest the board, whether it's in sports, HD, etc. I guess it took it too far by doing the invasion thing, but that's been done before by this board so whatever.

I don't get Dana sometimes. Do you know how legit Babalu's BJJ skills are? I know he's one of the few Brazilians that actually know how to wrestle and wrestle well. From what I can tell his strikes are pretty mediocre. -

And I'm right there with you. Which is a shame, because I'm the type of guy - who's not normally really into MMA - that they should be trying to win over with this show. But this shit is just a turn off to me. Bringing Leben back? Jump the Shark. The show is trying to get casual fans hooked. Judging by the ratings, which has far exceeded expectations, they seem to be doing that. Just because YOU are turned off doesn't mean many are. I thought Bonnar won a *close* fight, but due to their judging system, it's almost impossible to have a draw. So, he got the decision. Remember, this was all taped way back when, to think that the bout was a conspiracy to get rid of Southworth because people don't like him is stupid. There's no way the bout was fixed. -

That's what I was thinking, Nate can't return when he hasn't left yet. I think they brought in Leben. Who else would it be? Anyone else and it's a really lame bait and switch I think. -

Well, when I say get a chance I mean really have an opportunity to fight consistently. That division is pretty bleak as of now so some fresh talent will help. I mean, last time he was a rising star and they fed him to the best LHW they had, in Chuck, then sent him packing. I guess I mean a fair chance. -
Who are the top 10 in these weight divisions
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to a topic in General Wrestling
Top Ten Heavyweights: 1) Fyodor. Proved why he is the man and did it all in style. No one comes close in my opinion, although it's funny that he's really only beaten one serious fighter...even if that serious fighter was the best in the world, and he's done it twice, with two different gameplans. 2) Nogueira. He WAS the man before Fyodor. If you were a top contender in PRIDE's HW division, at any point after PRIDE 15, he beat you. Unless your name is Fyodor. If people would have ever thought he had a chance to beat Fyodor, it would have been at NYE. In between the two fights, he beat Ricco, Cro Cop, Yokoi, Herring AND Kharitanov. Talk about bouncing back, yet afterwards, we all saw what happened. 3) Arlovski. Too bad we won't be able to see how he'd do against the only two guys ahead of him, I think he'd fare well, and I'd actually bet on him against Nogueira. 4) Cro Cop. Hasn't faced any real competition other than Nogueira, but he lost that fight. He has seemingly improved a lot in his ground game and takedown defence since then, and has been disposing of some decent fighters in typical Cro Cop fashion. 5) Barnett. Lots of potential in this guy, he just needs to avoid freak accidents and fight more. Potentially the best, in actuality the bottom of the heap, I place him at the middle since I believe in this guy, and he will be the breakout fighter of this year, at least the second half of this year. 6) Kharitanov. Again, hasn't beaten a serious contender yet, but has looked impressive regardless against guys like Schilt, Ninja, and Choi. I would have liked to have seen him fight a Cro Cop or Herring, but neither of those is happening anytime soon. Bank on him taking on a fresh Barnett later on this year. 7) Mir. Has impressive wins, over top guys, well one, in Sylvia. I don't really like Sylvia, and think he's not very good, but the fact is he was a heavyweight champ who beat Cabbage, Ricco and McGee, all fairly convincingly. So that deserves merit. 8) Rizzo. Great takedown defence with solid submissions and the sickest KO power in the division, excepting MAYBE Cro Cop. Okay probably. Still, if his head was in the right place, he'd be a lot higher and a lot more dominant. 9) Sylvia. Well I guess he has to be somewhere on here. 10) Ricco. Once great, fallen far. Abu Dhabi ground skills and solid wrestling is not too bad. He's been out for awhile, and might even retire, which I find kinda lame since I thought he could be a great fighter if he really tried hard to come back. Next few, no real order here, but approximate order is where I placed them. Easily interchangable. Buenetello. (Don't fear me, fear the consequences!) Herring. McGee. Okay, that's all that comes to mind. I'm up for people disagreeing with any of it, except for the top spot of course. If there are guys you think should be on here, odds are they aren't because they're cutting weight, like Matyushenko. -

Babalu won again. I'd like to see this guy get a chance in the UFC. Last time it's like he lost to the unstoppable (at the time) Chuck Liddell and was kicked out for it. He's kicked serious ass since. How would you rank him in the LHW division? I say six, with nowhere to go but up. I'm biased admittedly. -

When Americans talk, only their mouths move. When Canadians talk, their head splits in half and the top part moves. Er.....right? Our asses are also on fire. Non stop. Not to mention, all the maritimes folk just want to sodomize each other. -

Wildpegasus; are you sure you don't have a vagina? I know you've backtracked in a couple of threads, but this one seems like pretty hard evidence.

Pretty much, Bob just seems like a pathetic stalker as opposed to a cold calculater serial killer who is curious about the difference between death and life. He never did fucked up torturing on animals during his childhood, nor does he justify having psychological problems by pointing out that it's useful in helping him be violent towards people. As far as I can tell, the guy never went through bouts of depression where he needed medical help. The people he stalks are also legal age. That has to mean something. But hey, at least that guy was banned and doesn't post here anymore.

Between a whole buncha crackas. That would probably make a few on this board happy though

Million Dollar Baby had boxing scenes that were, dare I say it, even MORE unrealistic than Rocky 2-5. Seriously, the end is the worst, typical hollywood crap. -
FrigidSoul has all the tendencies of a serial killer in waiting. GOOD THING HE DOESN'T POST ON THE BOARD ANYMORE!

Joel Rifkin was stopped for speeding, which he made worse by going even longer. I don't think that there was actually any evidence on him...except for the rotting corpse in the backseat.
