Yeah that's my last song on Expert. It's not fun. The first solo isn't even the hardest. The second one just keeps.....on.....GOING. Check out Wulfe79's solo run of it on YouTube. He doesn't miss a note until a third of the way through the solo. That and him going 100% on Cult of Personality may be two of the most impressive video game events I've seen in a long time. In other news, everyone involved with RB is getting sued by Gibson for infringement. I guess they forgot to call Gibson before they used them for the guitar.

That's what I thought, but everyone was on open deals and I was curious. I figured it was because it gave everyone an opportunity to "Bigger Better Deal" me if they got signed to a developmental deal with the E or TNA, ROH, whatever. There's some surprisingly good young guys available at the start of the scenario who only lack overness so they're available at a relatively cheap rate. I'll have to see if I can tie them up for a while.

I figured with the rebirth of this thread I'd download EWR again and start over. However, I'm not one of those who assume I can book better than most bookers (well, maybe the current Russo) so I'd figure I'd try to build up a cult level on Easy just to start out. So I'm starting out with IRON and I'm trying to overhaul my roster. Can't afford CM Punk (unfortunately) and I'm trying to avoid dual promotion workers just because I have the feeling I'm going to get screwed over at the worst possible time. Do you think I oughta try to tie up some younger workers who can actually work to small written deals, or should I stick to open contracts? Only running one show a month so it basically boils down to an open contract "per appearance" deal, but I like the thought of getting a crew of young workers to long term deals and trying to build them up along with my fed. I can probably sign 4 or 5 (at least) relatively young workers who are unemployed and not on open deals. Or would that be financially irresponsible in some way that I can't see?

Jimmy D for Orel? Yeesh. Really though 1986 was about Jimmy's high point (that or '88) and Orel didn't hit it big until what, 1988 or '89? As for Scott, he basically was the starting pitching for the 'Stros (Nolan had a good year but IIRC injuries shortened his year a bit) and was pretty much the definition of "dominant". He'll probably win you 20 at least depending on how many SPs you have in your rotation.

Here you go. http://revver.com/video/585395 This fight was fixed! The scorpion hit him repeatedly with the stinger and he was retreating. The wonders of a hard shell. It's not just for M&Ms. Looked like the centipede got him a good shot in the beginning then just waited him out. Not exactly a crowd pleasing fight, but it got the job done. BTW that Stag Beetle/Tarantula fight was crap. I want the SB from the scorpion fight. That one looks like no joke. I hate violence against animals, yet I can't stop watching these. I guess it's the Japanese TV influence. You start out with some innocent non-porn anime, then Most Extreme Elimination Challenge, then before you know it you're setting your DVR to record Ninja Warrior and Unbeatable Banzuke and watching insect death fights.

Shit I already missed the Dentmobile. Would have been an easy drive down to the Galleria for me too.
-
He even stole King's sandwich? What next, bully Lawler into giving him his milk money? Tear up his homework?
-
WTF, JARED? Some fatass needs to come out and splash him.
-
So now Colin can get his ass kicked on TWO shows? Huh.
-
Well so long for Londrick. Looks like Spanky's going to turn cowardly heel. Unless they just have him get pissed at everyone since he's tired of getting his ass kicked every week.
-
To be honest I had to mute most of the interaction due to a phone call. Just seemed to me that since Jericho was backing Mayweather they were making him into the heel for the convo at least. I thought Big Show had a squash against someone the week he came back. Not 100% sure though.
-
Setting up Jericho vs. Show for tonight I guess? They trying to turn Jericho into s smartass heel already?
-
A&M vs. BYU. That's going to be a grinder of a game. WHOOO BEARS!! They deserved it.

That's what I'm wondering as well. I'm willing to take everyone's word for it, but I would have thought SOMEONE around town would have said something. Hopefully this new job works out. I went to Axxess (or whatever dumbass way they spell it) for X-7 and would love to actually make it to WM this time. Shoot, even my friends who don't really follow wrestling anymore want to go to the show. As to the Dome, Broward's right. No one can figure out what to do with it. "Casino/hotel", "sports museum" and other ideas have been bandied about, but it's rapidly getting to the point where the best option is "wait for it to fall over". The place is horribly out of date (asbestos, etc.) and hasn't had much if any maintenance since Reliant took over for it. Hope they manage to get the smell of horseshit from the livestock show and rodeo out Reliant before WM. Maybe if they open all the doors and windows and let it air out... As to a main event, Houston seems to have a good reaction to Cena despite it being more "smark"-y than some cities. However, I wouldn't like to see what the reaction would be if he ended 'Taker's streak. They couldn't even turn Austin heel in Houston vs. The Rock and he did everything short of frenching McMahon. Maybe turn HHH heel and have him win the belt at the RR so they can have a rematch from X-7. That would mean Taker winning the Rumble again though, and personally speaking I'd rather they give that shot to someone younger and ready to take the big step up to headlining 'Mania and maybe have UT co-main.

Met the Dudley Boys after a RAW in.... 2000 or something like that. They were staying in the hotel next door to the old Summit and a small group of us were in the hotel bar watching the end of the Monday Night Football game. Turned out to be the Green Bay/Minnesota game where Farve threw the OT TD pass to Freeman off of Chris Dishman. Bought them a each a drink and talked. Nice guys. Bubba drank a couple of beers, D'von had a white wine. Michael Cole was there as well. Didn't talk much and didn't drink. Mostly just hung out. Had Al Snow jump the rail after a win during the Heat tapings before that RAW so he could give me a high 5 (I kept calling him by his old gimmicks during the intros and he kept laughing). Met Bum Phillips (old Houston Oilers coach) at a recycling plant when I was about 7. He had a long horse trailer full of empty Lone Star beer cans. Met Billy Gibbons (of ZZ Top fame) at a gas station near my house. Yes, he was driving the Eliminator (the '33 Ford coupe). Only athlete to hit on a relative was ex-Astro Pete Harnisch, who used to jokingly propose to my sister (when she did media relations work for the team) at inappropriate times, usually when she was talking to a group of reporters. Oh yeah, and I met Snoop Dogg as well. The semipro football team he sponsors and plays for played my team in '04 during Super Bowl weekend. He showed up late, but stayed after for a few minutes to talk to us. Seemed like a fairly nice guy, and a hell of a lot taller than I though he'd be.

"Shit Blows Up" may be the greatest tagline ever. Seriously.
-
So you're saying the Suns would beat the Rockets in a seven game series? What leads you believe that?
-
Count out? COUNT OUT? In 5 minutes? Way to use the hometown boy.
-
Yep, especially when they could have kept Chavo-Punk going. Here is who I reckon will partake in the battle royal ECW: Balls, BDV, Burke, Morrison, Miz, Kingston, Knox, Richards, Dreamer, Delaney Smackdown: Palumbo, Hawkins, Ryder, Festus, Jesse, Noble, Henry, Khali Raw: Burchil, Cade, Murdoch, Haas, Santino and Duggan/Val/Crazy/Smith I'd like to see Burchill if they let him wrestle like he did in England (not a chance). I'm pretty sure Chavo could do a C4 properly. Eh, I'd be happy with that curb stomp I guess. Barring that, I'd go with Kofi, although I'm not sure he's got enough of a crowd backing to be in the ME quite yet. I think he and Chavo could put on a good curtain jerker though.

Wow, Stevie's push sure came to a grinding halt, didn't it?
-
"Well since we can't figure out a way to squeeze our number 4 belt onto Wrestlemania because we don't have time to build up a feud, we're resorting to a battle royal! Have fun!"
-
Going through a table the wrong way and possibly end up stuck with some loose metal? Ask Dreamer, he'll do it!
-
I sense Colin going for a ride through a table at some point. Nice Tower of Doom-esque move.
-
How good is Delaney anyway? Not like we've gotten to see a whole lot from him during his WWE tenure.
-
If this is Extreme Rules, how come all 4 aren't brawling away right now? OK that's somewhat better.
