I'll tackle the Bengals worst: 1999 Round 1: Akili Smith Why add anything else? Round 2: Charles Fisher Had the trifecta of ligament tears in his 1st career game, never played again. Round 3: Cory Hall Playing for the Falcons now, rarely started for the Bengals. Round 4: Craig Yeast Currently playing in the CFL. Round 5: Nick Luchey Playing in Green Bay, too busy changing his name while in Cincy to be productive. Round 6/7/7/7: Kelly Gregg, Tony Coats, Scott Covington, Donald Broomfield Hall left the team after the 2001 season and Luchey left after 2002. meaning he was the senior man from that draft class at 4 years. With the exception for New Orleans (Ricky Williams) the Bengals were the only team from that year's draft that did not have a 5th year player from their own draft.

Exactly, if this was the NBA, Sosa would be a hot commodity next year. Since he only has one year left, though the Cubs should not be afraid to spend some money if there are FA's they want this off-season.
-
He has to be punished, you cannot set a precedent for future conflicts and incidents.

Definetely the cab route, as especially in Ohio, these days if you are in your car, and keys are within range, they technically can get you on some charges. Sorry, I am a day behind on this issue.

*looks at Gert's matchup, looks at final score* No, you didn't... Yeah I know, that was just my non-malicious response to the spread stuff. That'll be all from me though.

Cincinnati Bengals 2003 Record; 8-8 2nd place AFC North Division QB: Spec of an upgrade This is only because Carson Palmer has not played a game yet. I do think by the end of the year he will be at the same level of Jon Kitna at the end of last year. While Palmer's inexperience may hurt him, he makes up for a better mid-range ball, the 20 yard pass that Palmer can sizzle into a WR, whereas Kitna's resembles more of a wounded duck. And it makes it an upgrade overall since Kitna is a backup. RB: Upgrade Corey Dillon's desire to not be in Cincinnati is gone, so it is an upgrade right there. Rudi has looked good in the pre-season, and he is entering free agency. Chris Perry will be good on receiving plays out of the backfield, and Kenny Watson also could surprise people on draw plays. Jeremi Johnson's biggest enemy is his weight as he almost got cut because he couldn't stay healthy. WR: Upgrade Chad Johnson will still be a Top 5 WR, maybe with less catches, but more receiving yards due to Palmer's stronger arm. Peter Warrick is a question mark, as he only played a few plays in the pre-season. Kelley Washington could really emerge as the Bengals #2 WR as his size can create problems with CB's T.J Houshmanzhdeh is average, and Kevin Walter is on the team for special team skills. TE: Same Kelly, Stewart, Schobel are all still on the team. OL: Same This is an underrated offensive line, and I believe that this is a Top 10 OL in the league. If Eric Steinbach can stay healthy, the Bengals will send Willie Anderson, Steinbach & Levi Jones to the Pro Bowl. Depth could become a problem. DL: Same This unit was the weakest part of the Bengals team last year, and it has chamged enough to be a sold upgrade, except for the fact that the DL has another year to grasp Marvin Lewis's system. LB: Slight Upgrade Nate Webster was brought in to play the middle, so Kevin Hardy can go back outside. While neither are a superstar, it is an upgrade. Look out for Caleb Miller and Landon Johnson, rookies who are going to make an impact as backups. CB: Same Deltha O'Neal is boom or bust. Kim Herring could be a good signing, but probably a little past his prime. Keiwan Ratliff & Madieu Williams will be good, but not this year. Special Teams: Same Shayne Graham is still here, the Bengals have a new punter, Kyle Larson who may not be a top 20 punter, but he will be an improvement. Special teams has good new rookies, but are hurting because of Khalid Abdullah's injury. My prediction: I think the Bengals are slightly improved, but the NFC Division they are playing is tougher, the AFC crossover division is tougher, and they play a 2nd place non-common schedule vs. last year's 4th place. 2004 Cincinnati Bengals 8-8.

Is it just me, or are some of these games absolute landmines waiting to happen?

This is no intended disrespect to the great players of the past eras, but I think from top to bottom the players are so much more athleticly gifted. The mindset may be, why shoot the 15 foot jumper, when you can take it to the hoop and slam it?

Look, I agree they bust their asses, but they aren't starving, and they aren't working 300 days a year anymore, closer to 200. I work at a high school w/o AC, and we have to wear nice clothes all day, they can change out once they get to the arena. It is hard for me to have sympathy.

What exactly was said, I missed Raw on Monday. -
If the US temperatures jump 6 degrees, I gotta start working at a high school with AC.

Good stuff so far, I voted first time in 2000, and I am a registered Republican because I voted for McCain in the primaries, but Al Gore in the election. I am still undecided right now.

I think Cal gets destoryed this time as USC is looking for revenge.

Week 7: Chad Johnson 5-130-1 Week 15 Chad Johnson 2-15-0 Week 7: Peter Warrick 4-43-0 Week 15: Peter Warrick 11-90-1 They doubled down Johnson the second game and it opened open Warrick's game, but I'll give McAllister credit. With Washington in the mix too, Baltimore won't have the luxury of doubling so much. And Palmer won't be throwing the wounded duck pass that was Jon Kitna's signature.
-
1. Chad Johnson 2. Peter Warrick 3. Kelley Washington Come get some Deion. I also think if teams were smart they should run more 4 & 5 WR sets against the Ravens, who rely a lot on help between the CB's S's and LB's. Of course they do have a good front four so there are risks.
-
There's no way Williams will be the #1 overall pick, probably still in the top 10. It is a long time of not playing.

NCAA did not mind when Tim Dwight went back to Iowa to run track after he was already with the Falcons. I can understand Bloom's bitterness, and why should he pick one sport? If you are good enough to excel at two sports, and he gave up his endorsements to go back to college, not just to play football.

Maxim picked the Bengals to finish last in the division. Stick to half-funny remarks in the captions.

Thank you wild pitch, as the Cards beat the Reds for the 14th time this year.

Pot grower faces murder charges for firefighter
Gert T replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Current Events
As long as the judge isn't trying to make an example or has a strong vendetta against drug use, there is no way he could get convicted of third degree murder. Any guy who has a good enough lawyer shouldn't have to worry about a conviction in a case like this. -
Bluffton College with zero, although we had a great talent who turned down a chance at going to the Indians camp because his fiancee had a teaching job, and didn't want to move.
