What's up with your life right now?

Well, I'm done with college for the summer and have been BUSTING MY BALLS at work. Right now, I'm enjoying my birthday.

How's this? I can't really get into the single much, and I don't have the highest of expectations. I haven't listened to the entire disc yet, but I've been digging what I've heard, with the exception of the track with Redman. Other than that, it's all good so far.

I think that as a whole, I like Thirteenth Step more than Mer de Noms. The new album is a bit more feminine, but I think it's also a bit more well-rounded. I also quite like the production on the new album. Mer de Noms seemed a bit over-produced at times. Thirteenth Step sound more stripped down and raw, which is the sound I've always preferred. Though there's no "3 Libras" or "Oresetes" on Thirteenth Step, tracks like "Pet", "The Noose" and "Weak and Powerless" are all great tracks that can be repeatedly listed to.

    Musicians selling-out

Does anyone know if that album was deliberately bad, like a slap at typical Pop music, or was she serious? I want to know. You can add Liz Phair to the sell-out list. Of course, since I'm practically in love with her, it's ok.

Help me decide who will be the NEW

Uncle Kracker was, and still is, I believe, the DJ in Kid Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker Band. I'm not sure, but I think Kracker has been with Kid since The Polyfuse Method. Don't quote me on that though. Aaron Lewis is Fred's lackey. Someone gave Fred a copy of Tormented and he was appalled by the cover, so he signed them, then they released Dysfunction. By the way, DJ Lethal is Fred's DJ. How he went from House of Pain to Limp Bizkit saddens me.

Ok, I swear this is the last one. I just dug out a FANTASTIC album from my collection today: Slanted & Enchanted- Pavement. I have to agree with Wildbomb about Under the Table and Dreaming. There are some definite great songs on that album, like "Ants Marching", "Jimi Thing", Satellite", and of course, DMB's best work, "Typical Situation." Don't know if it's ***** or not, but it's easily their finest work.

You're surprised? Come on, Agent. Give us some credit. We all know Nickelback sucks. BADLY.

Why did you name yourself THAT?

It's quite simple. I was a big fan of the Killer B's back when I was a kid. I was feeling nostalgic when I registered here at TSM, so I just combined their names.

    Hayabusa

Really? Every time I've seen him do it, he does the corkscrew pretty much before he jumps. It's like a girl Phoenix Splash (in the sense of a girl pushup). Anyway... I heard that Hayabusa had a great match with Masato Tanaka for the brass knuckles title, it was supposed to have been the best FMW match ever. I've never seen it, but maybe somebody who has can say if it's all that good. It's the only wrestling match I've been actively trying to see for any length of time. I have a feeling I'll be dissapointed, if for no other reason than I've been waiting a while. I think the match I mentioned earlier wit the snap Dragn Suplex was for the Brass Knuckles title. I'll have to dig out my Flying Assassin DVD just to be sure though. It's easily the best FMW match I've ever seen, though they did have some nice garbage matches, ie. 'Busa/Tanaka vs. Funk/Mr.Pogo.

All of those are horrible, HORRILBE bands and worthy of mentioning. I'm going with Nickelback though. It's hard to top the level of douche that is Chad Kroeger and Co. There's a band out of Pittsburgh called The Clarks that absolutely SUCK as well. They're kind of like a 3 Doors Down or Nickelback...without the MTV play.

    Cure Tour

Hopefully they add a Pittsburgh show. If not, I'll just have to drive to either Cleveland or Cincy.

Damn AoO, and you thought that Blink-182 Linkin Park were the worst things mentioned... I don't mean to rip you Jack, but 3 Doors Down and Limp Bizkit? You've got some great albums on your list, but those? Yikes.

    Hayabusa

I've seen a couple pretty good 'Busa matches. The last one with Gannosuke was good, and he had a couple good matches with Tanaka, especially the match where 'Busa with Tanaka with a snap Dragon Suplex. My favourite Hayabusa fuck-up is still the SSP on Mike Awesome. How that didn't KILL him is beyond me. Talk about a "holy shit" moment.

    GNR voted Greatest Guitar Riff

"Sweet Child O' Mine" is a great riff, but personally, I think that "My Michelle" and "Welcome to the Jungle" both top it. Of course, "Layla" trumps everything.

I want to play classical guitar

My fingers are wide and semi-long. Not perfect for guitar, but damn they've come in handy playing piano all these years.

I want to play classical guitar

How many fingers do you have to be able to stroke the guitar with? How many you got? Things like this make me glad I learned bass instead... of course I don't really have suitable "guitar hands" What are guitar hands? Typically "guitar hands" involve long, narrow and quick fingers.
