  1. I aint going anywhere, I wanna finish this (and the MLB draft).
  2. Montell Jordan- "This Is How We Do It" Warren G. (ft. Nate Dogg)- "Regulate" Smashing Pumpkins- "1979" Blind Melon- "No Rain" 2Pac- "California Love" Red Hot Chili Peppers- "Under the Bridge" New Radicals- "You Get What You Give" Meat Loaf- "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)"
  3. I'm loving this draft. Brooklyn Zoo's team is looking the best to me at the moment.
  4. To complete the best defensive infield there is. This man won 9 straight gold gloves, an MVP and is, arguably, one of the best fielding first basemen of All-Time. Also, easily, one of the most popular Yankees of the past quarter century: Don Mattingly
  5. Another addition to my cruiserweight division: Michael Shane
  6. He's considered to be the best fielding third baseman of all-time before Brooks Robinson came along and had a lifetime batting average of .320 with only 278 strike outs in nearly 8,000 at bats. Talk about a guy who knows how to get on base. Pie Traynor, 3B
  7. This guy is versatile and pretty talented. Not sure where I'm using him yet or even if he'll be Waylon Mercy or not but I know he'll be useful. Dan Spivey
  8. God dammit! This is the second time I'm late by like a half hour and lose out on my next pick. First my favorite player of all-time and now one of my favorite pitchers of all-time (Schilling). but with Schilling and Niekro gone I need another pitcher. So I pick another great fielding pitcher (7 gold gloves) who was a consistant winner: Mike Mussina
  9. Well I had a tough decision that pinjockey just made easy. Since my choice was between Hernandez and this guy. A lot of people may overlook him since his career was short (only 10 full seasons) but when a guy's peak lasts his entire career, that's saying something. In those 10 seasons, this guy never had less than 23HR's and 95RBI's, had less than 150 hits only once and, if not for his dislike of the media, would've won an MVP or two. Might be a bit early but I lost out on the Big Hurt so I aint losing out on him. Albert Belle, DH/LF
  10. He needs to learn how to only go half-retard.
  11. To no surprise I take: Grand Master Sexay To finish off Too Cool.
  12. Because it's cool to pick guys who just died: Steven Dunn JUST KIDDING. Since I need another face team, plus I think these guys would do good in the Hollywood scene: Scotty 2 Hotty
  13. I knew I could keep him at right field (since Tony Gwynn spent time and excelled at all three outfield positions so he's flexible) so he's a no-brainer for me.
  14. A guy that I'm surprised is still around. Some pop for the middle of my line-up and my starting right fielder. Ladies and gentleman, the man who tried to kill Queen Elizabeth: 'Mr. October' Reggie Jackson
  15. I must admit to not being excited to walk through my dark hall way after reading this... The wikipedia entry for this pretty much debunks the mystery: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anjikuni
  16. How the hell does Nicolas Cage find time to release two movies a year that no one has ever heard of and that feature no other known actors in them? And how do these movies make money?
  17. I love this kind of stuff. This is probably the only thread that could drag me into the general chat folder. I'll put up some of my favs this week. Man, I miss Unsolved Mysteries .
  18. Toronto Blue Jays Skydome Joe Torre
  19. My nomination for biggest steal of the draft: OF Tony Gwynn
  20. Since I have Mero and need a woman for my roster as a manager/sex symbol: Sable
  21. No clue where I'll use him yet but he's fliexible as a face (Johnny B. Badd) and as a heel (Marvelous Marc Mero). Marc Mero/Johnny B. Badd
  22. I don't buy it. If going by accepted timeline, that would mean that Vince gave Savage the WWF title AFTER it happened. I doubt something like that would happen without Vince knowing and I highly doubt that Vince would give Savage the belt after that or try hard to resign him in 1996. Plus if it came out in 2000 or 2001 or whenever, how does one explain the Smackdown interview? Or the WWF History desire video that prominently featured Savage? I don't know what the answer is but I doubt Steph is it.
  23. Three guys I really want here but I need a dominant righty to go with Ford. Eventhough another of the three is more likely to go soon, this guy I can't pass up: Juan Marichal
  24. FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The one guy I wanted more than anyone else and I missed out on him due to losing track of time. Enjoy having the greatest power hitter of the past 25 years on your roster 909. My pick's coming.
  25. At least in the playoffs. Regular season overtime can be kept as is but playoff overtime needs to be another full quarter.
