Dammit, why is Zach Gowen on the show? I was hoping it was just a one time appearance on the ppv. Poor Abyss...just let the man have his one on one title shot already.

It matters that for a few months, I get to see AJ as champ.

Finally the good decision was made. Styles will be a fighting champ not having to resort to guitars each time to win.

Just said that Waltman will replace Hardy. That sucks.

I think they started cheering Kash and Hoyt a couple of months ago. It's great how crowd reactions can just change how they book a character. Even I feel myself rooting for Hoyt even though I just thought he was a loser hoss when they first started to bring him in. He's improved though and an Abyss/Hoyt feud would be interesting.

I'm not totally sure who you're talking about, but the guy I associate with the beanie is Lance Hoyt. Shamrock hasn't been with TNA since the beginning, except for a brief stint or two last year.

This ppv is rushed indeed...only 3 weeks to build up if I'm correct. But I am interested in a couple of the matches. I'll be watching and hoping that AJ wins it.

I guess if it works, why not? I mean, besides the whole it being stupid, at least the fans are into it.

I'll admit, I didn't follow his career back in ECW...but I've heard things about him and I was really pulling for him in TNA. Just logging on and hearing this news...I just couldn't believe it and I still can't. This is seriously fucked up. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. RIP

It's funny how a year or two ago Frankie just sucked balls and people wanted him out. He really has been improving and I thought a run with him and Shane as champs would've been good. Oh well...good luck to him in TNA and maybe Shane can go back to the X division and keep wrestling well.

I like the 6 sided ring. It is different and that doesn't mean worse to me. It's about the wrestlers that make me want to watch, not the ring, but it's not a distraction or anything.

I don't really mind if it's from a mark's perspective. It's nice and refreshing once and a while to see this kind of thing instead of having the mindset of critiquing a match on wrestling technique or discussing political power and booking mistakes.

I do think it's overused, but not sad at all.

At first, I was against the idea on the premise that less was more, but lately I've been changing my tune. Guys like Siaki or Raven or whoever can do some good with a mid card belt.

Whether it was a swerve or they just resolved stuff, it was very surprising. Kinda cool...

Eh, never watched ROH, so I don't really care. But they do seem like hypocrites now, but I'm not gonna stop watching.

Plus I'm sure some more bought replays of Turning Point after hearing about the show.

Well, TNA really really should've noticed that his contract was up sometime in the fall. But yea, Abyss screwed himself. I mean, after arguing for hours about a pay raise, then actually getting it, didn't he know TNA was gonna be offended if he was gonna not take the raise right there?

Hector Segura Solano, 35, who wrestles under the name Hector Garza, was arrested Monday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Bail has been set at $1,000. Further details about the arrest and the drugs Segura is accused of having were not immediately available. Messages left with his attorney were not returned. News of the arrest surprised some people. California-based wrestling promoter Liz Fairbairn had already hired Segura to compete in a Valentine's Day match in Los Angeles. "We just printed all our posters," she said. "I hope he's not in too much trouble." Segura , who is from Monterrey, made his professional debut in 1992. "He's won some championships. He's getting a lot more visibility," Fairbairn said. Segura, when teamed with a wrestler known as the Latin Lover, was popular with female fans for his Chippendales-like dancing skills, Fairbairn said. Fairbairn said the arrest could hurt Segura's career. Mexican newspaper El Norte states the drugs were anabolic steroids Primobolan and Deca-Durabolin, which is used to regenerate injuries and to fortify muscle tissue. Garza was on his way to the TNA Imapct! tapings in Orlando, Florida when he was detained by Immigration agents at the Houston International Airport. We're told he was placed under arrest and was in court yesterday in Houston. He is currently being held in a Harris County, Texas jail. Garza’s brother Humberto told El Norte that the steroids were prescribed by a local doctor in Mexico, who overnighted the proof to the Mexican Consulate in Houston. They will turn that into court for his defense. Humberto stated that Garza was being counseled by a personal attorney, while TNA was sending one as well. Garza’s bail was set at $1,000 but he was advised not to pay it for fear of being deported, which would destroy his Stateside career. His problems caused rewrites at the TNA taping on Tuesday evening, where the wrestlers were told he had “travel issues.” ------------------------------------ So are those drugs legal if prescribed by a doctor?

It's funny, because when I first saw the trailer, being Asian myself, I pointed it out to my buddies and jokingly said they were racist. Didn't really mean it though.

I don't see Abyss being used better in WWE than he was in TNA. Hope he stays. And TNA needs to get on the ball with Abyss.

I agree, if they want to exclude gays or whatever, they have the right to. However, no public funds should be given.
