I'm an Astros fan, so if Pierzynski gets powerbombed, well...it won't make up for the World Series, but it'll have to do.
But maybe TNA is just really banking on the fact that ESPN will just pick up on this and have a little highlight on SportsCenter. Publicity is still publicity.
Just watched it. Great promo and he just seemed like that big unwashed-up star that TNA needed. He can easily feud with Monty and Abyss as well as they don't want a new guy ruining their chances of a title shot in the future.
I knew that Rhino was really only a temp champ, so no surprise. Sounds like some good shows there.
And Monty Brown, I can't explain it, but I love the guy. He's a decent wrestler, needs a bit more seasoning, but he's got the charm.
I've always looked forward to Ultimate X matches and so do a lot of other people, so I don't think they should do away with it. I think that they should have a better way of hanging that X, though.
What Tenay did there was build up Rhyno, saying he gored JBL, Edge, and others recently before his debut in TNA. I see nothing wrong in that. I guess WWE should sue now because TNA had that guestbook in the funeral home on the last show?
Great news. It means that more people heard about the show and watched it...so far the first test of keeping their audience and building has been passed for the first two weeks.
I don't like that Styles got pinned in the end there. He's the X division champ. And it's too bad the Naturals lost to the "default" champions. Maybe they'll rekindle their feud with AMW later down the line and with more heat since AMW's heel now.
I will give the benefit of the doubt to TNA...they've got an hour a week and they're trying to appeal to the more casual viewers first, so I'm willing to overlook the mediocre main event seen with the "old" guys. At least the X-division is still great.
A 2 hour show would be great, but it's not happening yet...they just have an hour and they're trying to make due with that. Wish they had that extra hour so that people won't feel so overwhelmed...guess it really is a 60 minute adrenaline rush for some.
I have .wmv files and I want them on a dvd so they'll play on a dvd player. I know I've got to convert them to something, I believe an mpeg-2 file or something. Thing is, I want to know what program that I can do that with, that will convert/encode my wmv file into a format that I can burn onto a dvd. Any help would be appreciated.
I dunno about going back to the Asylum. They should do a "homecoming" type show to Nashville, but the Asylum would seem so bush league, especially after being in Universal Studios. They should find a slighty bigger arena.
