The VP debate was watched by 69.9 million viewers, the highest for any debate since 1992 (Bush, Perot, Clinton debate) which had the same number of viewers. Sarah Palin should at least get a reality show deal from this campaign. She might be the biggest star on TV. Apparently it was the second most watched debate trailing only a debate between Carter and Reagan in 1980

Broxton is up for the Dodgers Cubs last hope

The problem Heroes has on Monday is that it is up against two shows that are must see live, Dancing with the Stars and Monday Night Football. Heroes does really really well on DVR viewings and the 18-34 demo is in the top 10 so it makes NBC money. So no need to worry about it being cancelled.

The word in the Hillary/Palin skit is "Flerg" Which according to the urban dictionary means "penis that is not erect" Took me awhile to find it

At my TV Programming class, we saw the first episode of "Worst Week" and it was hilarious. It premieres on Monday after Two and a Half Men. While the episode was really good I don't think the series will have legs because if all episodes are going to similar to the premiere then the show might get old pretty fast.

Don't know much about Sarah Palin, except that she might have the most photogenic family in all of politics

Discussion: Possible DC Universe Movies

Using Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum would have worked if "Smallville" would have lasted one or two seasons which built to a movie. Now the show has been on for too long and using the cast would make the film come off as an overly expensive TV movie. I think people are taking the "dark" thing the wrong way and doesn't imply that Superman will be grim n' gritty. Here is the last paragraph from the original article Many of the studio's directors credit Mr. Robinov for taking Warner Bros.' films in a darker and deeper direction. Christopher Nolan, who directed "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight," says Mr. Robinov "really encouraged the logic of the villain" from "Batman Begins." That led to focusing heavily on the Joker in the sequel. "At the script stage, Jeff really wanted us to be very clear on the Joker's lack of purpose," he says. So I assume that by dark he means he wants the story and the villains to be complex and intimidating. They need to use the dickish Lex billionaire/scientist and have Lex or Luthor Corp. be directly/indirectly responsible for the creation of such villains as Bizarro/Parasite/Metallo. (Just like the Animated Series) -

The women's soccer match between USA-Brazil was epic. USA wins 1-0 in Extra time to win the gold. Who would have ever thought that watching the Brazilian women's team would be more exciting than watching the men.

Where was this class and who were the professors, because I think you and I may have had the same class. Go to Cal State Fullerton?

Thank God for the "American TV" class I took in the spring semester because the professors showed the first episode and I instantly had to watch the rest of the season. I may have never watched the show if I hadn't seen it there. Awesome show. My brothers and why I watch all the episodes in a couple of days and where totally bummed out after the last episode knowing that was it for the show. The show had me at Lindsay. I kept wondering why I couldn't keep my eyes off her when watching the first episode until I looked up who the actress was and realized that she was the same girl who appeared in my favorite "Boy Meets World" episode "Heartbreak Corey", she was the sole reason why it was my favorite episode. Sam and Mr. Rosso were my two favorite characters on the show.

W needed to man up there. Misty May wanted him to slap her BUTT but he decided only to brush her back.

Fucking Crap The US soccer team was 30 seconds from qualifying to the quarters when a stupid foul led to a free kick and the Dutch tied the game. Now the US will probably need a tie to advance without Freddy Adu

Clippers sign Brian Skinner For those that haven't seen it here is a "Step-Brothers" spoof by Baron Davis and Steve Nash. Nash brings the dance skills. http://www.ibeatyou.com/competition/0775d8...in-santa-monica

A live action Wonder Woman movie might have been put on hold But the Animated DVD coming out next year looks pretty kick ass http://enewsi.com/news.php?catid=194&itemid=13678 -
Clippers sign Ricky Davis Not sure what to think, but at least he won't be scoring 30 on the Clippers like he use to do on a regular basis. He played like Jordan when ever he played the Clippers for some reason.

RottenTomatoes.com has Batman Begins with a Top Critics rating of 62% RottenTomatoes.com has Superman Returns with a Top Critics rating of 73% And so what about the budget. About the same amount of people in North America saw the two movies (more WW for SR). All I'm arguing is that the Superman series doesn't need a reboot. That doesn't make any sense when you look at the facts. PS I like Batman Begins way more than Superman Returns I agree Superman doesn't need a reboot, someone just needs to make a good movie about him. Everyone in the world knows Superman's origin so that doesn't need to be retold. By the way " Superman: Birthright" is another Superman story that doesn't exist in my mind. -

Superman and Catwoman are my two favorite comic book characters. So you can imagine how much I hate Time Warner owning DC Comics. -

Yes if I were forced to watch any of those three movies, I would rather watch Superman III and IV than Superman Returns. Its is not about a movie being good or bad it's about how disappointed I was in "Superman Returns". Using the backstory of the first two Superman movies was a horrible idea specifically because they wouldn't be able to use the businessman Lex. -

My favorite superhero is Superman and after watching "Superman Returns" I vowed that I would never watch that movie again. It doesn't exist in my mind. Routh was good as Clark but he didn't inspire as Superman. He looked like Reeve but was not built like him. For Superman you need a larger than life person. I would seriously cast Dwayne Johnson as Superman if I were making a Superman movie. Bosworth as Lois was not a good choice. However the thing that bugged the shit of me was the portrayal of Lex Luthor. He needed to be the Lex from "Smallville", from the animated series, and from the "52" comic book series. The evil business man that is basically the smartest, heartless, richest, most powerful person in the world.
