Didn't Marc Mero do it quite often during his "Wildman" days? Pretty nicely IIRC -Cheex -
Smackdown is truly being treated like a joke now.

the London/Kidman team winning the tag titles could be just the thing to reinvigorate the division. Think about it, with the Dudleys you knew that they would be winning 90% of the time, but with London/Kidman they could plausibly lose to anyone. They're the underdogs of the division, and i'm not saying they should be Team Whipwreck where they pull a win out of their ass after being squashed in a match, I'm saying each match has the opprotunity to be very competitive. London/Kidman vs. The Bashams has more "anyone can take it" quality that Dudley Boyz vs. Bashams. Same with all other SD! teams. Better Competition=better matches. -Cheex -

I too was pissed at the lack of 30 minutes. But my TV guide says that tonight, Joe Schmoe will be on at 9 and last an hour and a half. Go figure. -Cheex -

Is there anyway to make the created wrestlers not look all dark and shit? I mean.....Vader is not black, but you wouldnt know that based on my CAL of him. -Cheex -
On my vopy of RAW 2, it won't copy music from a CD-R, but I've heard instances where it will take CD-RW. Before I go out and buy some RWs, does it always work, or is it just an Xbox to Xbox thing? -Cheex

Thats whats been bothering me about it. I think it might have something to do with the difficulty level. -Cheex

Ok, now his morale is at 0%, he is opting to sit out his contract (which has 32 months left). Is there any hope? -Cheex

What's the deal with Eddie Guerrero? I've pushed him nonstop, turned him heel (at his request, and it gained him overness), he's the most over guy in the WWE (at 97%), he went over the last two PPVs, but his morale is at 2%.....2%?! How do I raise it, or am I just going to have to wait for him to walk out? -Cheex

Awhile ago, when Al Snow still wrestled he had these tights that were either blue or black. They had a deranged snowman for the decal and on the back was some scribbling. I remember a lot of debate as to what exactly it said. from afar, it looked like "Concrete", or "Cornette" or something. What was it? -Cheex

A new AVP trailer has hit the net. If it wasn't for the music, this would have gotten me more hyped than ever....but that metal riff just isn't doing it for me, Paul W.S. Anderson, sorry. Kick ass visuals though http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/avp/inte...sive/large.html -Cheex. P.S. 100 posts, biatches! And it only took me a year and a half

Has anyone read this? I've been looking all over my town, and not even Barnes and Noble has a copy. It seems cool, and the audiobook seems cooler (narrated by the likes of John Turturro, Matt Dillon, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, William H. Macy, etc.) I love the Coen Bros. movies, and these short stories seem to have the same quirky spin. Anyone have any experience with it? -Cheex

Christian The way I look at it, Christian is the next (not as talented ring wise) Shawn Michaels. Tomko and Trish are just his Diesel and Sherri. He's a better mic worker, and much better in the ring. Isnt it funny that the last two Rocker-esque tag teams (Hardyz, E&C) tried to follow the Michaels-better-than-Jannety formula, only their handpicked Michaels (Jeff, Edge) have fallen below the bar, while Jannety (Matt, Xtian) have stepped in up quite a bit. Now, if only they can get Matt out of Lita oscurity. -cheex

To me, Tarantino movies are like dogs (in a good way). The more you love his movies, the more they love you. If you don't like his movies, they still like you. Tarantino movies are movies for people who just like to be entertained.) That in mind, movies by people like PT Anderson or Wes Anderson are like cats. You can like them, but if you dont they dont care, because they know they're still great. Or maybe I'm just crazy. -Cheex

one word: Weinerville doesnt anyone remember that show?! I loved it so much. So, so much. -Cheex

Kill Bill Volume 2: It's coming, August 10th!
Cheex Incarnate replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
Awww man. That new cover art isnt nearly as cool. Guess the original art will be saved for the Special Edition. Here's what I've been hearing; Vol. 1 in April Vol. 2 in August Vol. 1 SE in Sept. Vol. 2 SE in Oct/Nov. Ultra Mega Kick Ass Both Volumes Kill Bill as One Editon at X-man i've also heard that Tarantino may, instead of rereleasing each volume with a SE, just put out separate Extra disc for sale, sans the movie (like American Pie and Beneath the Crust, or the Matrix and Revisited) I kind of like that idea. Because, then he wont have to charge as much. 10 bucks for a peripheral disc is better than 20 for the disc and the movie you already have. -Cheex -

TV shows that lost their "place in history"
Cheex Incarnate replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Television & Film
Thats true, but I meant that it's looking to beat out the Honeymooners for longest running TV comedy. Or I might be crazy. -Cheex -
Best is definately Souled Out 98. It's a wonder how overlooked this show is (by everyone except us, that is). I mean, that card could have been a Thunder, if you think about it. If i remember correctly there was close to zero build up to this one.

Cheex Incarnate replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Television & Film
I'm gunna have to say Futurama. I mean, Groening fan boys LOVE this show, and dont get me wrong, i like it too, but it's not nearly as funny as people make it out to be. But, im a King of the Hill man, myself. That said, I think the Simpsons have been on cruise control since the Homer on Pot episode (the one that there was NO WAY to fuck it up.) now they're coasting until they get the "longest running ever" trophy. -Cheex -
Pulp Fiction Kill Bill Vol. 1 an all Tarantino final..Cheex likey. -Cheex
